In my 2:00 piece, I wrote about Australia's soon-to-be-implemented requirement to upload a Digital ID in order to conduct an internet search. Every search query you make will be tied to your ID, ready for the government to conveniently track you as you move around the internet. The UK is still pushing its propaganda regarding Digital ID, and hasn't quite gotten the policy over the finish line. But fear not, until they do, they have other ways to go all Chinese Communist Party social credit system on you. Britons are assured that there are no specific plans to ban VPNs, but that "everything is on the table."

The California Republican Party filed a federal lawsuit Tuesday challenging the state’s new congressional district maps, alleging Democrats illegally used race as the primary factor in redrawing boundaries to favor Latino voters.
The complaint, filed in U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, seeks to invalidate Proposition 50, which voters approved on Tuesday to implement legislature-drawn maps for the 2026, 2028 and 2030 elections. The lawsuit names both officials in their official capacities as defendants responsible for implementing the challenged maps.

Embattled Democrat Jay Jones, who spent recent weeks embroiled in a scandal surrounding violent text messages he sent in 2022, won Virginia’s off-year attorney general contest on Tuesday evening against GOP incumbent Jason Miyares. Jones’s victory was a major defeat for Republicans, who spent millions in advertising in the final stretch of the campaign to boost Miyares.

A UPS plane crashed near Louisville’s Muhammad Ali International Airport in a fiery wreck Tuesday evening, officials confirmed as a plume of smoke could be seen for miles.
Multiple emergency crews, including the Louisville Metro Police Department, responded to the crash site around 5 p.m., where authorities warned there was “fire and debris.”

The Wall Street Journal reports this morning on the aftermath of the Big Apple fight over socialism, where capital lost. Zohran Mamdani won easily last night, winning an outright majority of ballots cast by New York City voters, 50.6% as of this morning with 87% of precincts reporting. Andrew Cuomo got 41.7%, while Curtis Sliwa -- the only rational candidate still left on the ballot -- received 7.1% of the vote.
