MAGA rejoices at Nancy Pelosi's decision
to finally quit Congress

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced Thursday she would not seek another term in Congress in 2026. The first and only female speaker of the House, Pelosi, 85, has been a fixture within the halls of Capitol Hill since 1987. She is the second-highest elected female official in US history, behind former Vice President Kamala Harris.

Comments:

I am sure "Maga" are not the only ones rejoicing her finally leaving.

All part of the shutdown plan against Republicans. Have he economic difficulties in the blue states, particularly Virginia where so many Fed workers live to create the anxiety. Wait until the election to announce Pelosi would not seek reelection in the new gerrymandered district she'd have to run in to avoid any worries from liberal voters being concerned or projecting a "loser" mentality. Dems re-open the government It was all part of the plan and I hope the GOP realizes they were played to help Democrats win, which is all they actually care about. Do not allow for any CR to take place anywhere close to primary season and definitely not anywhere close to the November election (I'm sure the Dems are planning to do something similar around Aug or Sept).

The plastic surgeons have finally stretched Pelosi Galore's skin so tight over her face that it's about to split in the middle, exposing the skull, teeth, and eyeballs beneath: a real life Halloween mask. A year ago, I read that she had every intention of running again in 2026, but there's no point in being a total power hog like DiFi, RBG, or Fidel Castro. The young communists in the Democrat Party have taken the place of the superannuated many-termers.

I have visions of her sitting naked on a pile of money in her "safe room" like Scrooge McDuck throwing the bills into the air. Not to worry, Nancy. The afterlife doesn't put much stock in money. WASHINGTON — Tennessee Valley Authority CEO Jeff Lyash — the highest-paid federal employee with a compensation package of $10.5 million per year — abruptly announced Friday that he was retiring 11 days after the return to office of President Trump, who during his first term slammed Lyash’s “ridiculous” pay and vowed to fire him. “Sounds like Lyash got DOGE’d,” a senior administration official told The Post, referring to Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency initiative to rein in allegedly wasteful federal spending. A TVA rep denied that Lyash was departing either in response to or to get ahead of pressure from Trump’s team after six years in the job.

New Yorkers elected their first socialist mayor Tuesday, handing far-left Democrat Zohran Mamdani an historic victory — as he claimed a mandate for his potentially budget-busting progressive agenda and all but declared war on President Trump. Andrew Cuomo got 41.7%, while Curtis Sliwa -- the only rational candidate still left on the ballot -- received 7.1% of the vote. Supreme Court justices on Wednesday morning expressed skepticism about the legality of aggressive tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump against most of the world's nations. Conservative and liberal justices sharply questioned Solicitor General D. John Sauer on the Trump administration's method for enacting the tariffs, which critics say infringes on the power of Congress to tax. Lower federal courts have ruled that Trump lacked the legal authority he cited under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act to impose the so-called reciprocal tariffs on imports from many U.S. trading partners, and fentanyl tariffs on products from Canada, China and Mexico.

And while a debate about the future of the Democratic Party may have only just begun, there are signs that the economy — specifically, Trump’s inability to deliver the economic turnaround he promised last fall — may be a real problem for Trump’s GOP heading into next year’s higher-stakes midterm elections. Democrats on Tuesday won governor’s races in Virginia and New Jersey, the only states electing new chief executives this year. They also swept a trio of state Supreme Court contests in swing-state Pennsylvania and ballots measures from Colorado to Maine.
