With nearly 100 percent of precincts reporting, no candidate reached the threshold needed to be declared the winner after first choice ballots were tallied. There it was this morning, plain as day. It was a screenshot of a woman going off about how her food stamps were cut off, the $1,000 per month she and her family supposedly get from the government, juxtaposed against her being called out by someone else for hair extensions, expensive trips to the nail salon, and tattoos. In short, she wastes money on unnecessary things and then demands money from the government to support herself.
She's squandering money on luxuries while relying on the taxpayers to fund her groceries for anywhere between four and seven people in her household.
And worse, there's no sense of shame among many of these people.

In New Jersey, the Democrats won a yuge race for governor. Democrat Rep. Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11), despite being a terrible candidate according to normal candidate metrics, beat Republican Jack Ciattarelli 56.3 percent to 43.2 percent.
My prediction was totally off here, as I assumed that the Republican nominee would win a narrow majority or plurality. In this race, Democrats broke a historical trend going back to 1961,

Voters chose a 34-year-old Democrat Socialist promising frozen rents, higher taxes on the wealthy, more public spending, etc. You know, all the things communists promise before their overblown Marxism takes control. The White House has asked a federal appeals court to issue an emergency block, after a federal judge ruled on Thursday that the administration would have to pay full Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) payments in full amid the longest government shutdown in United States history.
Judge Jack McConnell of the U.S. District Court in Rhode Island rejected the Trump administration’s request to pay only 65 percent of SNAP benefits this month. The U.S. Department of Agriculture has a $5 billion contingency fund for emergencies like the Schumer Shutdown, but that amount falls short of the $8.5 to $9 billion needed to fully fund monthly SNAP payments.
Something strange happened in New Jersey on election night, and the numbers just don't add up. Republican Jack Ciattarelli lost the gubernatorial race to Democratic Representative Mikie Sherrill by a stunning 56% to 43% margin, a blowout that left pollsters scratching their heads and conservatives asking hard questions about what really went down in the Garden State.
This was supposed to be a competitive race. Trump only lost the state by six points a year prior, and, if you were following this race, you know that Ciattarelli had momentum heading into Election Day, picking up endorsements from local Democrats and labor unions along the way.
