New Jersey gubernatorial candidate Jack Ciattarelli announced through a campaign strategist on Thursday that he is intending to sue Rep. Mikie Sherrill (D-NJ), his election rival, for defamation after she claimed on Wednesday that he had personally “killed tens of thousands of people.” Rep. Sherrill made the claim during their final election debate on Wednesday, referencing Ciattarelli’s medical publishing businesses. The Congresswoman claimed that, since Ciattarelli’s businesses published content from drug companies selling opioids, he was personally responsible for the deaths of everyone in New Jersey who consumed and became addicted to the drugs.

According to Scott Presler, 600,000 Republicans stayed home for the 2021 Election in NJ and Murphy won by 84,000. What TF is wrong with Republicans? I realize this is a decades long problem, but it never ceases to disgust me.

No, no, no, the guy who actually killed ten thousand people is former Gov. Cuomo, who moved COVID patients into nursing home, spreading the virus to huge numbers who had weakened immune systems, causing them to be infected and die.

Israel published documents Sunday that it says were orders from deceased Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and other Hamas operatives detailing their plans to commit — and broadcast — mass murder on October 7, 2023. The documents included a six-page memo that Israel says was written by Sinwar, who was killed by Israeli troops a year ago. It also includes other written orders and communications intercepts by Israeli intelligence. The Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center published a more extensive version of the documents on Sunday:

A cartel-connected bank, once defended by Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, lost its license to operate in Mexico and is in the process of selling off its assets. The move comes just months after the U.S. Department of the Treasury sanctioned the bank and two other financial institutions for having laundered money for drug cartels and for helping move money to China to pay for fentanyl precursors. This week, Mexico’s Bank Savings Protection Institution (IPAB) announced that CI Banco was in the process of liquidating its assets following the revocation of its license by Mexico’s National Banking Commission (CNBV).

Hamas has confirmed that it has 20 living hostages and is ready to release them as early as Sunday, a day earlier than expected, according to insiders. The terror group told Israel that it has the hostages ready to exchange ahead of President Trump — the architect of the peace deal — arriving in the region, sources familiar with the deal told the Wall Street Journal. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the Jewish state is ready for whenever the release happens, even if before the expected time early Monday. “Israel is prepared and ready to immediately receive all of our hostages.”

Democrats shut down the government partly to force Republicans to extend COVID-era boosts in Obamacare subsidies that Dems once called “temporary” but now say are needed to keep the program viable. This reveals what a true disaster Obamacare has been, as its critics warned even as Dems were ramming it into law with not a single Republican vote in 2010. Blindly tossing fresh trillions down that hole is nuts: Time to fix it — or scrap it altogether. The 10-year cost of Dems’ current demand totals almost a half-trillion dollars, to benefit primarily insurers and wealthier Americans. Under the expiration that Democrats wrote into law, 1.6 million Americans (just 0.5% of the population)

In hindsight, it was clear all along that President Trump didn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of winning the Nobel Peace Prize. Yet in being snubbed, he nonetheless proved something extremely important. His rejection reveals that the official claim of the award is false when it says the prize goes to “the person who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses.” That standard describes exactly the peace Trump has achieved this year by settling conflicts around the world, most recently and dramatically in Gaza.

A trio of Trump diplomats celebrated the historic Gaza peace deal alongside a massive crowd in Tel Aviv’s Hostage Square on Saturday night — while nervously anticipating the release of the remaining Israeli hostages. US envoy Middle East Steve Witkoff, first daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner — who recently emerged as a key player in the long-shot peace negotiations — addressed a gathering of tens of thousands, who waved American and Israeli flags and held placards with images of Hamas-held hostages. “God-willing we’ve accomplished the first phase. It’s been rocky. One day we’ll tell you the story, it’ll make you laugh, it’ll make you cry.

Mayoral front-runner Zohran Mamdani and his lefty comrades are standing by state Attorney General Letitia James amid her indictment woes. The Queens socialist fiercely defended James against the Trump administration during a love-filled news conference in Manhattan Friday, arguing the mortgage fraud case against her is politically motivated vengeance. “This is a blatant miscarriage of justice. This is a shameless act of political retribution,” Mamdani seethed about the federal charges of bank fraud and making a false statement to a financial institution unveiled Thursday against James. “And instead of prosecuting Tish James for doing her job, Donald Trump should be doing his.”

The global economy is finally waking up to the risks from authoritarian economics. As China imposes critical mineral and lithium battery export restrictions on the U.S. and the world, one must ask: Why did anyone ever trust a mercantilist dictatorship like the Chinese Communist Party to be the world’s main supplier of so many critical goods? To make matters worse, as China limits its critical exports to weaken our defenses, it also floods the world with overproduced cars and heavily subsidized steel, shutting out market-oriented producers. What a racket. Of course, we are not alone.

The North American Values Institute (NAVI) called the inclusion of the map in the NEA email “an inexcusable lapse,” arguing the union must be held accountable for disseminating content that rationalizes anti-Israel sentiment.
