FOX News contributor and George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley analyzes the breaking news of the indictment of former FBI Director James Comey.
GILLIAN TURNER, FOX NEWS, 'SPECIAL REPORT' GUEST HOST: Ben told us a moment ago that he would not be surprised if this ultimately leads to a conviction for Comey. What are your thoughts?
JONATHAN TURLEY: Well, we really need to see what those underlying allegations are. One of the reasons that we've been focusing on his statement in 2020 about the league is because that's not a matter of interpretation.

Changing clocks twice a year could be putting 300,000 Americans at risk of a potentially fatal stroke each year. A new study, conducted by Stanford Medicine researchers, found that switching between Daylight Saving Time (DST) and Standard Time (SDT) disrupted the body's internal clock by forcing it to adjust too often to changes in light and darkness. [Snip] The next change is set for November 2, 2025, at 2am in each time zone. [Snip] While simulating what would happen the US decided to make SDT permanent after 'falling back' in November, estimates showed the change could prevent about 300,000 stroke cases annually by reducing this circadian strain.

Former FBI Director James Comey was indicted by a federal grand jury Thursday on charges of making false statements and obstruction of justice.
“No one is above the law,” Attorney General Pam Bondi said in a statement on X. “Today’s indictment reflects this Department of Justice’s commitment to holding those who abuse positions of power accountable for misleading the American people. We will follow the facts in this case.”

A trio of rising Democratic Party stars are slated to speak at an anti-Israel convention this week alongside a deep roster of Hamas sympathizers and anti-Semites.
Michigan Senate candidate and former CNN contributor Abdul El-Sayed (D.), Rep. Ro Khanna (D., Calif.), and Michigan lieutenant governor Garlin Gilchrist (D.) are listed in the lineup for ArabCon, an event hosted by the American-Arab Discrimination Committee (ADC) in Dearborn, Mich., a majority-Muslim town dubbed "America’s Jihad Capital" because so many of its city and religious leaders have sided with Hamas against the United States and Israel.
All three of the Democrats are running—or likely running, in Khanna’s case—for prominent political offices.

The Trump administration is warning migrant sponsors to take financial responsibility for them or expect to be slapped with steep fines, lawsuits, or even prosecution.
American citizens who sponsor migrants that end up using taxpayer-funded benefits like food stamps or housing assistance will be held financially liable and could even face criminal charges, according to a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) memo obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation. The announcement, which is intended for all migrant sponsors across the country, marks the latest policy crackdown by the Trump administration.

Could we finally be about to witness the long-awaited comeuppance for George Soros, his son Alex, and their Open Society Foundations?
That remains to be seen, but reports on Thursday indicate that Justice Department officials are in receipt of directives to start investigations of the Open Society Foundations. This has not yet been confirmed by the Justice Department.
But we can hope!
Multiple top federal prosecutors at U.S. attorney's offices around the country received a directive Monday to prepare to launch investigations into the Open Society Foundations, a group funded by the billionaire Democratic donor George Soros, multiple sources confirmed to ABC News.

Something's up! Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has ordered all top U.S. military commanders, worldwide, to convene at Quantico Marine Corps Base next week for a no-notice meeting with no published agenda. To call this unprecedented might be an understatement. The order covers about 800 general officers and admirals, and each of the attendees is directed to bring their senior enlisted adviser with them; “All general officers in command in grade O-7 through O-10 and their general officer senior enlisted advisers are directed to attend within operational constraints.”

The White House is telling federal agencies to prepare large-scale firings of workers if the government shuts down next week in a partisan fight over spending plans – prompting the Democrats to accuse Donald Trump of intimidation tactics.
In a memo released on Wednesday night, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) said agencies should consider a reduction in force for federal programs whose funding would lapse next week, is not otherwise funded and is “not consistent with the president’s priorities.” That would be a much more aggressive step than in previous shutdowns, when federal workers not deemed essential were furloughed but returned to their

The more we learn about Democrat Mikie Sherrill, current Member of Congress and candidate to be New Jersey's next governor, the more she looks like your average, scandal-plagued DC swamp rat. We reported earlier on her Nancy Pelosi-esque ability to leverage her congressional tenure into remarkable stock market gains, and now we're learning that Sherrill has a scandal-ridden record going back to her days at the United States Naval Academy.
Here's what went down.
Back in December of 1992, two dozen of Sherrill's fellow midshipmen were expelled from the Naval Academy after it was discovered they had obtained and shared the answers to an electrical engineering exam.

The Turning Point USA founder was assassinated, allegedly by a pro-trans radical, while speaking at a Utah-based university on Sept. 10.
In his remarks to reporters, Shaw disclosed that he and Kirk became friends at the apartment complex where he was living in Arizona

A September poll of white-collar professionals shows that 56 percent of U.S. citizens say the huge H-1B visa-worker program is transferring their jobs and careers to white-collar migrants.
The poll of roughly 2,000 Americans and 2,200 foreign workers was conducted by Blind, which is a bulletin board for tech-sector professionals, most of whom are white-collar migrants.
The site reported 56 percent of the Americans polled said “they view H-1B visa holders as direct competitors for jobs.”
Sixty percent of U.S. citizens said that “U.S. citizens and green card holders should be given hiring priority.”

The opening scene of Kamala Harris’ campaign memoir sums up the entire disaster of the Biden-Harris era: two selfish narcissists focused entirely on their own needs and insecurities, trapped together in an alliance with no regard for each other and no concern for the American people.
It is the morning Joe Biden dropped out of the 2024 presidential race on Sunday, July 21.
Harris is in her kitchen watching the Cooking Channel and making pancakes for her grandnieces when the president calls from his Rehoboth Beach house in Delaware, where he’d hunkered down with his family after his disastrous debate performance.

In his latest book, Lions & Scavengers, Ben Shapiro’s general thesis is that the people of the world can be placed into one of two groups: Lions and Scavengers. Conveying this theory using shorthand, Lions align with the typical American Thinker reader; they revel in the spirit of productivity, of creation, of success, of responsibility, of moral duty. Lions have merciful hearts. They have a healthy respect for tradition but are also great innovators. Scavengers, by contrast, are too angry and envious to be innovative. They are eternally revolting against nature, against authority, against the norms that make healthy civilizations function.

PARIS, Sept 25 - Former French president Nicolas Sarkozy was sentenced to five years in jail on Thursday for criminal conspiracy over attempts to raise campaign funds from Libya, a spectacular downfall for the conservative who led France from 2007-2012.
The sentence, which will soon make Sarkozy the first president in France's modern history to be imprisoned, was harsher than many expected and stunned allies and foes alike. As he exited the courtroom, Sarkozy, visibly moved, expressed his outrage at what he said was a "scandalous" ruling.
"If they absolutely want me to sleep in jail, I will sleep in jail, but with my head held high," he told reporters,

What if I told you that cartels and other bad actors from around the world conspired to undermine the integrity of the health care system in the U.S. and came way too close to succeeding? If you didn’t hear about the bust of 324 people; the U.S.-based cartel shell medical supply companies; the pill mills pushing opioids; the doctors on the take; or how law enforcement captured many of the bad guys at the U.S. border and airports as they rushed to escape, that’s understandable. The feds revealed this potential $14.6 billion "depth charge" planted inside the Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance programs

Hillary, were you drunk when you said this? Who thought a) this was a good idea, and b) you would have any credibility with American voters. The former first lady and two-time presidential loser had another deplorables moment. These people cannot help themselves; it’s pathetic. While speaking with co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski on MSNBC’s "Morning Joe," Mrs. Clinton said we need to stop demonizing each other.
Oh, but wait—she claimed that most of that in our history comes from the Right, “coming from people who want to dominate.”

Quick, everybody care what a bunch of impotent, fussy foreigners think about us! No, really, we should give a damn that some herring-gobbling fjord jockey is mad about Donald Trump. Yeah, Norwegians totally matter. But not really. No foreigner matters. Not Canadians, not the English, not the Arabs (especially of the nonexistent Palestinian variety), not the Papua/New Guineans. Here’s the reality. Most foreigners are trash. Most people who aren’t Americans suck. And treacherous Americans who presume to leverage the puny outrage of second-rate cultures against ours deserve our contempt and mockery almost as much as the foreigners themselves.

American Federation of Teachers (AFT) president Randi Weingarten has written Why Fascists Fear Teachers: Public Education and the Future of Democracy, a book she claims will empower us and give us hope. The problem is that every word coming from the union boss’s mouth is nonfactual lefty claptrap.

The California Legislature passed, and Gov. Gavin Newsom eagerly signed, a bill that forbids law enforcement officers from concealing their identities with masks. The law applies to local as well as federal officers, but it’s clearly intended to make it easier to dox federal immigration agents. Of course the administration says it will ignore the law. So what happens when local and state officers try to enforce it?

California also forbids federal agents from enforcing immigration law in state courthouses. Again, the potential for blue-on-blue violence is ramped up by a Democratic

Violet Affleck took the stage at the United Nations (U.N.) to demand clean air and as her father, Hollywood star Ben Affleck, wrestles with his smoking habit.
