The headline read: “If We Really Did Have a ‘Creator,’ He Certainly Wouldn’t Have Been Very intelligent.”
Say what?!
The headline -- and story -- were on a site called The Daily Galaxy, of which I know nothing. But the piece and its banner were spawned by a remark Neil deGrasse Tyson made during one of his many public talks/interviews. At one point, Tyson actually stated, “If we had a creator, I’d have to say that the creator is pretty stupid.”
Unlike Neil deGrasse Tyson Himself, of course. I mean, he’s brilliant.
Tyson also magnanimously stated: “I have no problems, if as we probe the origins of things, we bump up

The existence of Tyson is proof that our Creator has a rich, deep, subtle sense of humor.

Lord, have mercy. I'm not sure if insulting your Creator qualifies as exalting yourself; but Neil makes a pretty attention-worthy demand to be humbled.

Get Your Own Dirt
One day a group of scientists got together and decided that man had come a long way and no longer needed God. So they picked one scientist (Tyson) to go and tell Him that they were done with Him. The scientist walked up to God and said, “God, we've decided that we no longer need you. We’re to the point that we can clone people and do many miraculous things, so why don’t you just go on and mind your own business?”
God listened very patiently and kindly to the man. After the scientist was done talking, God said, “Very well, how about this? Let’s say we have a man-making contest.” To which the scientist replied, “Okay, we can handle that!”
“But,” God added, “we’re going to do this just like I did back in the old days with Adam.”
The scientist said, “Sure, no problem” and bent down and grabbed himself a handful of dirt.
God looked at him and said, “No, no, no. You go get your own dirt.”

Neil deGrasse Tycon always has been a pseudointellectual. That is to say, a fake intellectual. Because he can sucker the gulls with sawdust instead of breadcrumbs, he thinks he's smart.

That "if" is going to land Tyson in hot hell. Keep talking, though. I beg to differ on him being brilliant too. Maybe like obama he speaks well. Every time I've listened to him, he sounded like a fool, but I'm no astrophysicist.
The fool has said in his heart there is no God. Psalm 14:1

Would love to be fly on the wall when Tyson meets his Maker. I have a feeling the Maker will be quire amused; Tyson, not so much...

The idea that the limited, temporary, human brain
should be able to understand the unlimited, eternal, Gods' plans
never ceases to amaze...
Does Tyson believe he is the equal of God?
At best, Tyson is one little tiny speck of God.
And if there were a billion Tysons, or a billion of any us, or a billion of all us,
God would still be all alone...
God is all there is

This precisely why I call him Neil de@**h0l3 Tyson. To simply say he's an arrogant, pompous jerk doesn't even begin to describe him.

I can only shake my head....one of these days Neil will indeed "bump up into the bearded man"; it's a given. I'm going out on a limb here but when that time comes, I don't believe he'll be OK with it.The LORD will provide him with a very long flashback to the exact moment he sealed his eternal fate. If he expects a do-over after that he's going to be sadly mistaken.

deGrasse thinks that parroting something another, real intellectual said/discovered makes him an intellectual also. It doesn't! I never watch him, as I consider him just another blowhard poseur!

No matter how educated, in fact, because they are educated and think they are superior, they look out at a working universe, billions of years old, complex beyond understanding, and because it is so wonderously marvelously complex, that no individual can hope to understand all of it, even if they lived multiple lives, because of this, they conclude God is stupid.
This only confirms my own observation that DeGrasse and others like him are to arrogant and stupid to appreciate God's works, and are the kind of abysmal bottom feeders that invent theories with faked data because they can't conceive a different result. "My research is the way God should have done it!! "

He must be both blind and deaf.
Psalm 19:1-4.
1 The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork.
2 Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language Where their voice is not heard.
4 Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world.

He is the poster child for pseudo-intellectual hubris.
He used to have a YouTube promotion in which he stated (approximately) "There is nothing as dangerous as someone who knows just enough about something to believe they have all the answers."
Projection at its finest.

His knee will bow. Now. Or later.
As others have noted: the timing of his knee bowing is critical.

I've never understood Mr. Tyson's credentials, as it appears he holds some kind of equivalent of "participation trophy" in Astrophysics education. He didn't cover himself in glory at the University of Texas PhD program, and left with a lowly "MA." There's something quite odd about his academic credentials after that too, without writing a single paper of note, he was able to obtain international support as a PhD student from European institutions. For some reason I've always smelled a leftist humanist beneath under his Tam. Bill Nye, the Science Stooge, being the other such person.
------
If only Tyson were courageous enough to debate a man very much his senior, that being Oxford Professor Emeritus of Mathematics, Dr. John Lennox. (website here: https://www.johnlennox.org/ )
Tyson would experience the Convicting Ministry of the Holy Spirit, perhaps for the first time in his life, but also perhaps for the last time of what remains. It might well be the last chance he would have in this life to accept Our Lord Jesus Christ's Saving Work on his behalf while hanging between heaven and earth on a Roman Cross. Upon breathing one's last, there will be no other "chance."

How many stars has Neil deGrasse
Tyson created? How many life forms, how many planets, how many galaxies?
"If" there is a creator, and I certainly believe there is, then he is light years ahead of Neil deGrasse
Tyson in intelligence.

I have studied physiology and anatomy. The spectrum of human existence is on a spectrum, that if it was a thousand meters, would be a mere millimeter in this thousand meters. Yet, it still happens. This is actually a miraculous event. This person is no doubt someone paid off by the highest bidder that loves a uncircumscribed penis.

If he holds to that idea, on his death bed he going to find out that the ONLY "unpardonable sin" is to deny the existence of GOD.
He may yet change his mind.
I try to stay away from whatever he professes, as it is often not backed by evidence.

Carl Sagan's "Cosmos" was one of the delights of my childhood. Big ideas, beautiful music, and a wonderfully literate history of science. Sagan was wrong about many things, but he got that T.V. series right.
Sagan once wrote a beautiful essay about how deeply he missed his parents, and how much he wished he could be reunited with them someday. It was a gentle, empathetic look at why so many people believe things science can neither prove nor disprove.
Carl Sagan was a thoughtful, learned man. who made significant contributions to human knowledge and our culture. Neil deGrasse Tyson is none of those things. He runs a planetarium and his mouth. I've yet to gain one insight from listening to him.
To paraphrase Winston Churchil after being admonished for insulting a fellow MP, "The honourable Member believes himself to be a wit, and he's half right."

Tyson is the jerk that convened the rigged vote of astronomers at a conference several years ago that 'demoted' the planet Pluto from being an 'official' planet. When a group of upset schoolchildren showed up at his museum with picket signs, he sneered at them. Definitely a DEI hire.
