Washington — Kilmar Abrego Garcia was taken into custody Monday by immigration authorities following his release from criminal custody last week, his lawyer said. "As he was leaving the jail in Tennessee on Friday he'd been given a notice requiring him to check in at 8 a.m. this morning," Abrego Garcia's attorney, Simon Sandoval-Moshenberg said. "The notice stated that the reason was interview — clearly that was false." Sandoval-Moshenberg said Abrego Garcia had filed a new lawsuit challenging his confinement and deportation to any country

Garcia is a criminal alien living illegally in the United States. An MS13 gang member, serial domestic abuser and charged with human smuggling. Van Hollen has adopted him yet refuses to meet with any of the families of victims of illegal alien violence in his own State. The liberals are totally obtuse about the optics of this ***show. Garcia has already gone to immigration court. The judge agreed he should be deported, just not to El Salvador. Deport him today. No one cares where. Van Hollen can go with him.

He's a dirt bag and needs to be gone one way or another, but I am not comfortable with the government being allowed to lie. If we lie to them it is a crime, but if they lie to us it is a big fat nothing burger. Isn't trust in the government at least a little bit important? I haven't had any in decades and its just getting worse. They do the things with impunity and even public support that if we did privately, we would be jailed or shot. This can go too far and has.

I think I read elsewhere that Kill-more and his attorneys had rejected the plea-bargain. Now they act as though it's on the table again when it appears that their client will get sent to an African country where flaming tire necklaces are commonly used to remove undesirable people from their tribal midst. BTW, I don't even believe this plea bargain offer, because I don't think the Costa Ricans would be stupid enough to willingly take someone like Kill-more.

Yes, #2. I’m not normally prone to conspiracy theories but this case is certainly causing questions in my mind. Why the Dem’s very public interest in defending this particular illegal? He is a proven active ms-13 gang member — In 2019, the Prince Georges County Police Gang Unit validated Abrego Garcia as a member of MS-13. When he was arrested, he was found with rolls of cash and drugs and was with two other members of MS-13. Senator Chris Holland, who has quietly been in top Dem circles for years, jumped immediately to his defense despite that fact, and the effort to change Garcia’s image began in earnest. Of course it was an opportunity to spin the immigration issue against Trump, but why someone with his background? Could there be a deeper reason that Democrats would so suddenly and vehemently defend a proven criminal member of a notoriously violent gang who came here illegally in 2011? Is there some previous Democrat connection with him that they are trying to prevent being discovered? All of this particular public attention to the defense of a member of such a violent gang is becoming very curious. It just seems odd.

Last time, I promise.. :-) She should have left him where he was in the El Salvador prison system, indicted him in absentia and issued an arrest warrant with immediate deportation should he manage to return. There was no reason to bring him back to the US. Everything that has happened so far was predictable.

The 'Ticking Timebomb' That Has Democrats
Terrified About Future Elections

It may take time, but bad governance inevitably leads to bad consequences. That's a reality Democrats have been loathe to accept, as they've continued down a black hole of awful policy, whether it be economically or culturally. The bill is coming due, though. According to a new analysis, a "ticking timebomb" is approaching in 2030, with the electoral landscape set to shift dramatically in favor of Republicans. The year is 2032. Studying the Electoral College map, a Democratic presidential candidate can no longer plan to sweep New Hampshire, Minnesota and the “blue wall” battlegrounds of Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin and win the White House.

CNN's resident data guru, Harry Enten, continued to report on the Democratic party's decline, noting that voter registration numbers continue to surge for the Republican party - and the resistance is about as popular as the Cracker Barrel rebrand. Enten discussed the matter of registration amongst the parties in four key swing states with "CNN Newsroom" anchor Jessica Dean over the weekend. His conclusion was not very flattering for a Democrat party that has suffered a perpetual onslaught of bad news since their disastrous 2024 election results. "Look, the Democratic brand right now has about the appeal with the American voter as the Cracker Barrel rebrand has with the American consumers,"

I’m not a lawyer, but I‘ve never quite understood how burning the American flag is a “free speech” issue. Lighting a flag on fire isn’t the same as giving your opinion or writing an article—it’s an action. If I took my bedsheet and lit it on fire on Fifth Avenue, I’m pretty sure a cop would be stopping by shortly. Donald Trump is certainly no fan of flag-burning, and on Monday, he signed an executive order banning the practice. Titled PROSECUTING BURNING OF THE AMERICAN FLAG, the order vows to restore the “sanctity” of the Stars and Stripes: My Administration will act to restore respect and sanctity to the American Flag

From the Times of India, Sikh advocacy groups estimate there are approximately 150,000 to 200,000 Sikhs working in the trucking industry, with around 90% (135,000 to 180,000) being drivers. They constitute about 18% of the total truck drivers in the US and up to 40% are based in California. This fact was buried in the 6th paragraph of a story about that Indian-national truck driver (Harjinder Singh, billed out of Stockton, CA) accused of causing three fatalities in a minivan with his truck on the Florida Turnpike earlier this month.

Midterms traditionally run against the party in power in the White House. But some important facts explain why Democrats are freaking out over the redistricting in Texas. We previously reported on the huge shift in party registration numbers, according to a recent analysis. When Democrats have lost 2.1 million registrations and the Republicans have gained 2.4 million over the past four years, I think you can call that a "crisis" for Democrats. Then, too, they are cratering to historic lows in approval as well. In July, they had 19 percent approval in a Quinnipiac poll, and then hit a 35-year low

President Trump went on a late-night attack against NBC and ABC News on Sunday, deriding them for what, in his view, was "biased" coverage and said he would be in favor of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) revoking their licenses. The Republican president said the news outlets had given him negative coverage on "97%" of stories. It wasn’t clear from where Trump was citing the "97%" figure. A study released earlier this year by the conservative media watchdog group, Media Research Center (MRC), found that coverage of the president’s first 100 days in office was "92% negative."

Representative Al Green, who has served Texas’s 9th Congressional District since 2005, will finally leave office. The Texas Legislature, led by Republicans, passed a legal redrawing of congressional maps that effectively eliminates District 9. Green, best known not for legislation but for shouting down President Trump during his address to Congress in March 2025, will be removed from office after nearly two decades of loud, ineffective, and divisive politics. Unsurprisingly, Rep. Al Green called the redistricting racist. But the only racial injustice here is the Democrat Party’s decades-long abuse of district lines to cling to power.

More lawsuits, settlements and court rulings led to the entire city and much of the state becoming the site of homeless encampments on sidewalks, streets, freeway embankments, overpasses, underpasses, median strips, parks, parking lots, public plazas, beaches,
