A Staten Island native came face to face with the worst of Italy’s migrant crisis this week when he was nearly killed while vacationing in Milan.
Nick Pellegrino was attacked on a train Tuesday by a pair of North African migrants, who stabbed him in the neck with a 5-inch knife before making off with his luggage and jewelry — leaving him to die in a pool of his own blood in his family’s homeland, which has experienced a surge in criminal migrants over the past four years.
“With these very loose, lefty immigration laws, these immigrants come into these countries and they’re running amok, trying to murder people.

On Thursday’s broadcast of CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) said that the government grocery store plan from New York City mayoral candidate Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani (D) is “a new and fresh plan for New York City. But it’s been tried in other cities around the country and has had some real successes.”
Warren stated that Mamdani “said, we’ve got a problem with entire food deserts where people can’t get access to grocery stores. He said, I’d like to take a look at whether or not we can have some kind of — like we do on military bases — you have some kind of support from the city government

Last week, Barack Obama gave some advice to his party, and it’s astonishing how quickly his words turned into a self-inflicted political wound. He was once hailed as the Democrat Party’s unifying figure, but Obama’s recent scolding of his own party’s base didn’t just flop — it sparked a backlash even his defenders can’t ignore.
As PJ Media previously reported, during a ritzy gathering of party elites in New Jersey, Obama dismissed the rampant frustration among liberals, telling them to show “a little bit less navel-gazing and a little less whining and being in fetal positions.”
"And it's going to require Democrats to just toughen up,” he said.

Labour government announces wrecking amendment to Britain’s Voter ID law by removing photo identification requirement, and slashes voting age from 18 to 16.
Under international and UK law, a child is any person below the age of 18, but by the time of the next UK General Election those age 16 and 17-years-old will be legally allowed to vote for their next Member of Parliament and won’t need photo-ID to do it, the Labour government has announced.
Angela Rayner, Sir Keir Starmer’s deputy prime minister, heralded the change by saying “For too long public trust in our democracy has been damaged and faith in our institutions has been allowed to decline”,

We previously reported on the comments that Harvard Law School Professor Emeritus Alan Dershowitz made about the "Epstein List" during an interview he did on former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer’s podcast.
At that time, he spoke about names being suppressed, but said he was limited in what he could say because he was "bound by confidentiality from a judge and cases, and I can’t disclose what I know,” he added.
Dershowitz explained in that interview that he had been falsely accused, as my colleague Bob Hoge reported.
His comments might help answer some of the questions people have had

We have been marking the first anniversary of the attempted assassination of the Republican presidential candidate. Judging from the reaction on social media, lefties regret only that the US Secret Service is too incompetent to pull off the eighty-sixing of Trump, while a not insignificant number of righties seem to believe it was just another spectacle for the rubes - with Trump surviving the closest call on TV since Ed Ames and Johnny Carson played Frontier Bris. In a certain sense, both are more normal reactions than the official version, in which all kinds of curious anomalies go entirely uninvestigated by either officialdom or the media.

A federal judge in Los Angeles is trying to shut down ICE enforcement of the nation’s popular immigration laws on the claim that it is illegally “profiling” people in California.
Judge Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong, of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, issued two restraining orders late on Friday. Frimpong was nominated by President Joe Biden and is the daughter of two immigrants from Ghana. She was selected by both Harvard and Yale universities.[snip]The suspects’ race and ethnicity, their difficulty speaking English, their location at sites known for hiring illegal immigrants, and their class of work do not meet the “probable cause” requirement for arrests, the judge ruled.

Protesters and even California Gov. Gavin Newsom targeted Vice President JD Vance as he visited Disneyland with his family this weekend.
Sharing a video of Vance with his family at the Southern California theme park, Newsom wrote, “Hope you enjoy your family time, @JDVance. The families you’re tearing apart certainly won’t,” in a post on X on Saturday.
Some 100 to 150 protesters gathered outside the gates of the “Happiest Place on Earth” to jeer Vance and his family on Friday and Saturday after his presence at the park was reported, according to the Orange County Register.

“The View” co-host Sunny Hostin predicted that a day of “reckoning” is coming for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents who have taken steps to protect their identity while carrying out their duties.
Today’s dangerous political climate has now made it necessary for some ICE agents to wear masks to prevent being doxxed, a preferred method of terrorism regularly used by leftists.[snip]
and the show’s house racist ominously told viewers that “there will be a reckoning” for ICE.

Brooke Rollins, secretary of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, could not commit Tuesday to an August deadline for the release of new dietary guidelines for Americans.
"There will be no commitment because we want to make sure its perfect," Rollins said.
"We're working on them; they will be coming soon probably in the coming few months," Rollins said.
In May, Robert F. Kennedy, the secretary of the U.S. Health and Human Services Department, said the guidelines could come as soon as August.[snip]In January, the Interagency Coordinating Committee on the Prevention of Underage Drinking issued a draft report on its findings analyzing the impact of alcohol intake on overall health.

Officials have claimed that membership sign-ups to a swimming pool in the Swiss municipality of Porrentruy have increased significantly after authorities imposed a ban on foreigners.
Last week, the Porrentruy Outdoor Swimming Pool announced that only those with a Swiss passport or a valid residence permit would be allowed access to the facilities following a spate of incidents involving migrants.[snip]
A regular patron of the pool told the Swiss news outlet 20 Minutes that there have been frequent arguments between lifeguards and people with a “migrant background” — mostly young men of North African extraction — coming across the border in France over hygiene requirements, such as showering before entering the pool.
Comments:
Maybe the State Dept, should issue traveler warnings for most of Europe like they do for many hellhole countries.
