A Staten Island native came face to face with the worst of Italy’s migrant crisis this week when he was nearly killed while vacationing in Milan. Nick Pellegrino was attacked on a train Tuesday by a pair of North African migrants, who stabbed him in the neck with a 5-inch knife before making off with his luggage and jewelry — leaving him to die in a pool of his own blood in his family’s homeland, which has experienced a surge in criminal migrants over the past four years. “With these very loose, lefty immigration laws, these immigrants come into these countries and they’re running amok, trying to murder people.

Comments:

Maybe the State Dept, should issue traveler warnings for most of Europe like they do for many hellhole countries.

Its astonishing how the liberal politicians all over the world fail to realize that the DEI initiatives they so want to impose on the Western World are completely aliento the cultures of the migrants they lavish state funds upon. You think that the Somalis or the Congolese give a damn about DEI, or co-existing eacefully with others. Their culture is EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF. They WILL bite the hand that feeds them, its just who they are.

Iam so glad to have traveled Ejurope years ago on many trips for months at a time. I wandered Paris on my own, taught mhself the Metro system, knew which areas to avoid , and was even mistaken for a French woman by American tourists, because of the way I dressed and conducted mhyself. On an earlier trip with a friend that included Italy we were warned to stay in the north because a dangerous group in the south wastargeting Americans. This willynilly global migration has made a mess of many things in many parts of the world.

Living NE of Venice, we see a lot of mid eastern folks, a few blacks, both groups usually with families. Odd when I'm heading home from work, the bus stops are mainly immigrants waiting to board of get off. We're not seeing too much "bad acting" but going to larger cities, it's a real poo-show. Oddly, as an example, Italian law requires one to wear a reflective vest after dark on the public roads if you're on a bike. The only ones following this guidance are the immigrants on their way to and from work. Ciao, Cris

The aggressive African vendors around the Eiffel Tower are a serious nuisance. The Gendarms were running them off, and they'd circle around and come back to harass some more. At least there were enough cops that they didn't get violent. I would presume that they'd be picking any pockets that they can, too. Third world trash, polluting much of Europe.

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) is a barrel of laughs. She’s feisty and doesn’t take any crap from the GOP. She’s perfectly willing to allow her detractors to view her as mentally ill. She’s ready to deliver haymakers—the problem is that her trainer is trash. The Atlantic did a lengthy profile piece on the Democratic congresswoman, some of which is run-of-the-mill Americana: she was educated privately, reportedly subjected to racism in college, got interested in the law because of those incidents, and went about building her profile by defending Black Lives Matter defendants. She had a brief stint in the Texas legislature before sharking her way up to Congress.

NYC-issued debit cards meant to pay participants working in a summer youth program were instead used by scammers who nabbed $17 million over a three-day period earlier this month, sources told The Post. The scam — the subject of an ongoing fraud probe — led to ATMs across the Big Apple being banged for big bucks from July 11 to July 13, with the cash ending up in the wrong hands rather than kids and young adults in the Summer Youth Employment Program, officials said.[snip] However, an error allowed the cards to access massive payments of up $40,000 per ATM.

European leaders immediately noticed the intent of the power move and threatened Zelenskyy with a withdrawal of support. Along the way, a damning Intelligence Community Assessment was issued, a major FBI investigation, code-named Crossfire Hurricane, targeted the president, and a special counsel, Robert Mueller, was granted a team of prosecutors and a budget of millions to bring the guilty to justice.
