A federal judge in Los Angeles is trying to shut down ICE enforcement of the nation’s popular immigration laws on the claim that it is illegally “profiling” people in California.
Judge Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong, of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, issued two restraining orders late on Friday. Frimpong was nominated by President Joe Biden and is the daughter of two immigrants from Ghana. She was selected by both Harvard and Yale universities.[snip]The suspects’ race and ethnicity, their difficulty speaking English, their location at sites known for hiring illegal immigrants, and their class of work do not meet the “probable cause” requirement for arrests, the judge ruled.

This treason as it is a lost cause, the case deportation case has gone to the Supremes and the federal Government is in charge of protecting our borders and immigration issues. If a person is here illegally, no matter what color, religion or sexual persuasion is here illegally, then they go back. The judge knows this and should be made to step down.

How are arrest warrants for known criminals profiling?
If person happens to be in the company of someone under a warrant I would deem that to be reasonable suspicion.
these judges are over-reaching for political purposes.

I'm sure she'd be totally ok with it if they only deported white people.

What good is the Supreme Court if their underling federal judges pay no attention and violate their ruling! I thought the Supremes already ruled the federal judges have no say in the executive branch decsions and the President has the final word. The Supremes better shout louder cuz the rogue black robes have turned a deaf ear to them.

If 98% of the illegal aliens had a shark fin growing out of their head, would it not be reasonable to check people with such a fin to make sure they are legal? Or should we do it the hard way and pretend we cant see the fin? Gad we are ruled by idiots.

We have a twice elected President who is an illegal Kenyan whose real birth certificate or Naturalization papers no one has seen. So why not a judge from Ghana.

Chances are in Ghana that Biden nominated Judge is considered to be a citizen of Ghana. Bets on how long that Judge’s rulings involving that Los Angeles area that anyone with a brain knows I’d loaded with illegal aliens will stand?

Inasmuch as this judge is black, everything looks racial to her in a country that was founded by white Europeans.

Of course it's racial profiling. If your skin is brown and you speak with a hispanic accent, your chances of being an illegal alien are as good as the odds of finding a bear in the woods where you have found fresh bear droppings. ICE is not going to find Martians on Venus! I wonder if this undocumented witch has the latent fear of a dive into her background sending her back to Ghana?

They may not meet the pobable cause for arrest? How about detainment wjhile they prove they are here legally? Remain in Mexico worked a lot better than this nightmare.
May Joe Biden roast in hell!

Here we go again. Democrats no longer try to hide their disdain for the American people and their interests. If Democrats wanted judges to interpret our laws instead of distorting/ rewriting them to serve non-citizens or some other pet project, we wouldn't have a daily parade of judges putting America last. It is so consistent, some might believe it was well planned by folks hiding in the back ground.

FTA: 'She was selected by both Harvard and Yale universities.' And I'm sure that her race and ethnicity had no bearing on that; as opposed to her previous education and intelligence, if any. I hope they do a thorough examination of her citizenship, or lack thereof.

I read that 25 Rep Senators missed the advise and consent vote on her. Chuckie snuck a few through at the end of the last session as well when several well known Sen including the VP went to an Elon rocket launch.
What is going on here. DC is one big hustle

This judge has been around LA for a while. It seems odd to ,me that Mayor Karen Bass was off in Ghana, of all places, when the wildfires hit in early January. In the same month this Ghanaian judge was nominated and confirmed. Curious ... We live in Los Angeles County and had never heard of her. Would remember that name...

All aliens who are legally in the USA have been issued a form of ID by the old INS or ICE showing their legal immigration status, so if they are ever encountered by ICE immigration enforcement officers, in that event all the alien has to do is show his or her immigration ID to the officers and go on his or her way. The most prevalent of such ID that has been issued to aliens is what is called an alien registration card, that is commonly referred to as being a “green card”. That card is issued to all Permanent Resident Aliens.

It seems that, if Asians are entering our country illegally, it would be logical to check Asians to ensure they are here legally. Not rocket science.
