What Donald Trump has achieved in the first six months of his non-sequential second term borders on the unprecedented. The most lasting and impactful accomplishment will be Trump’s ongoing victories in permanently reining in a rogue and increasingly radicalized federal judiciary. His electoral victory in 2024 and uncompromising battles with the judiciary have rescued the United States from an irreversible decline and fall. Over the past 70 years, the federal judiciary has increasingly assumed the extra-constitutional role of arbitrarily setting the boundaries of congressional and presidential authority.

Imagine what our progressively activist judiciary would do if left unchecked. Our country would be unrecognizable.

Justice is supposed to be blind, but the Left prefers it to be color-blind. That is, to only see what its been TOLD to see. And guess who is doing the telling.

What is interesting about this is there are two distinct parts. First, in Trump's first term, he appointed a lot of Conservative judges, including on the Supreme Court. Then, in his second term, he has been making vigorous use of Presidential power and essentially baited the Left into reacting by taking him to court. Since a lot of the things that Trump is doing are somewhat novel, Courts have not made clear rulings in the past. Trump is dragging the Left to the Courts to battle him and the Conservative courts he created are handing him victories. Often the stands that the Left takes are so far afield that even some liberal judges have trouble deciding in their favor. Further, these decisions are now on the books. That means that unless someone in the future takes them back to court with liberal justices in place, it's the law. Since these decisions are allowing Trump to scrub the Left out of their entrenched government hidey holes, they are no longer able to maintain their power across elections that should have taken them out of power. Now, they ARE out of power and every Trump win places them further away from regaining power. This will make it harder to undermine Republican government and harder to rebuild power even if dems get elected. They would have to work hard, like Trump has, to rebuild their power base. You may not have noticed it, but the Left doesn't know how to work hard and the outcomes they get are usually bad.

The way our Declaration of Independence and Constitution lays forth, there was an inevitable collision looming ahead of the runaway liberal judiciary, and that was with the Second Amendment. More specifically, with the "We the People" and their Second Amendment. In the end, there is no "checks and balances" in government that holds sway over the ultimate one defined by life and death. British parliamentarian William E. Gladstone is credited with the phrase “justice delayed is justice denied.” I’m seeing quite a few opinion articles and social media posts decrying the numerous investigations and reports into alleged political misdeeds, very few of which are accompanied by subsequent indictments, trials, and convictions. There are exceptions, of course, such as the case of Senator Bob Menendez (D-N.J.), who was convicted on bribery and corruption charges. But the figures behind the larger scandals never seem to face any consequences, and I think people have had enough

The government's Epstein problem 48 replies

None of us ever would have heard of Jeffrey Epstein had the government not brought him up. It was the government that brought charges against him. The government told us that he was “the most prolific child sex trafficker in history.” The government said he was “with intelligence.” The government cut him a sweetheart deal. The government was taken to court by “John Doe” over what the government called “client lists.” The government courts made a ruling about the “client lists” not being released. Senator Dick Durbin blocked the release of the “client list” in the legislative branch of the government. The government said it had “client lists” on its desk.

It’s no secret that Joe Biden nominated Ketanji Brown Jackson to serve on the United States Supreme Court because she is a black woman.* In other words, she was not chosen for her judicial acumen, but for her political identity. That goes a long way to explaining the absolutely lunatic dissent she issued to a Supreme Court order. That order stayed a California district court judge’s ruling blocking President Trump from ordering agency heads to produce plans for possible “Reductions in Force.”

Two hundred forty-nine years ago. Fifty-two men gathered in Independence Hall to sign the Declaration of Independence — a defiant ultimatum to King George III, risking death and treason to demand God-given rights: life, liberty, and self-governance. It offered the crown a choice: Honor the natural rights of free men, or face their unshakeable resolve to break away. In signing it, they signed their own death warrants — for surely if they failed, the gallows awaited them. The Declaration was a message writ upon the hearts of men by God Himself — a sermon steeped in biblical truth and republican virtue. “Give me liberty or give me death!”

As we reported on Wednesday, Donald Trump just scored a massive victory over the legacy media, and the fallout is nothing short of spectacular. For years, the left-wing press has operated on the assumption they could smear, distort, and outright fabricate without ever being held accountable — especially when it came to Trump. But CBS News and its parent company, Paramount Global, have agreed to pay an eight-figure settlement to Trump for their deceptive editing of an interview with then-Vice President Kamala Harris. And now the left-wing media establishment is in full meltdown mode. CNN’s Brian Stelter, for example, was visibly frustrated over the settlement,

After Justice Barrett completely humiliated Justice Jackson—joined by every justice other than Jackson’s partners in anarchy, Sotomayor and Kagan—for describing constitutional jurisprudence as “boring ‘legalese’” and proclaiming an “imperial judiciary,” it seems timely, especially with a radical, socialist, Muslim mayoral candidate now the overwhelming favorite to govern the nation’s largest city, that we better understand the limits of the judicial branch, and conversely, the power of the executive. Even though we still argue at the fringes of constitutional meaning, the Constitution itself uses language that couldn’t be clearer

I used to think that one day, the Left would snap out of it and begin acting in a civilized manner again. Opinions are fine, disagreement is fine, and outrage is fine. But somehow, those on the Left keep finding sub-basements under rock-bottom. Many of you know I was raised a Democrat, and there is a mythology that comes with that upbringing. I’m not talking about the trinity of JFK, MLK, and RFK, although that certainly loomed large in my youth. Late on Tuesday, we had another missive from the mists of the Supreme Court’s shadow docket—an unsigned opinion that confirmed for the moment the president’s right to clear-cut the entire administrative structure of the executive branch’s agencies and departments. From The Guardian. Extending a winning streak for the US president, the justices on Tuesday lifted a lower court order that had frozen sweeping federal layoffs known as “reductions in force” while litigation in the case proceeds. The decision could result in hundreds of thousands of job losses at the departments of agriculture, commerce, health and human services, state, treasury, veterans

Florida cannot enforce a new law that would bar illegal immigrants from entering the Sunshine State, the Supreme Court ruled on Wednesday. “The application for stay presented to Justice Thomas and by him referred to the Court is denied,” read the order rejecting Florida’s emergency appeal to the high court. No justices dissented, and the court did not provide a written opinion explaining the order. US District Judge Kathleen Williams, an appointee of former President Barack Obama, blocked Florida from enforcing the new law in April.

On Sunday, Yemenis, commonly referred to as Houthis, attacked a ship called the Magic Seas, a Greek-owned vessel, in the Red Sea. The pirates attacked and captured the Magic Seas: It is thought the Yemen-based terror group initially attacked using a swarm of boats, small arms and rocket-propelled grenades. They then used kamikaze drones. Having seized control of the bulk carrier, the gunmen simultaneously detonated multiple charges around the ship’s hull, causing it to sink. The crew abandoned ship after being accosted by the pirates and, I believe, were rescued. The Yemenis released shocking, and highly sophisticated, drone-shot video of their attack. The sinking of the Magic Seas is stunning: (X)

Progressives love unions. Not only do unions protect workers, they say, unions gave us the weekend and the middle class. I say, capitalism created the middle class. Employers, competing for better workers, gave us the weekend. But whatever you think about capitalism, few people question the claim that unions help workers. But I will. It's the focus of my new video. A couple years ago, the Teamsters demanded more pay from UPS. Seemed like UPS could easily afford it. The company made almost $13 billion in 2021. UPS used some of that money to hire more union workers. Then they offered them raises. But Teamster boss Sean O'Brien wanted more. He threatened a strike.

Doubts remained about whether Iran quietly removed 408.6 kgs of uranium from its most sensitive sites before the strikes - potentially hiding nuclear material elsewhere in the country. The uranium in question is enriched to 60 per cent - way above levels for civilian usage but slightly below weapons-grade. That material, if further refined to 90 per cent, would theoretically be sufficient to produce more than nine nuclear bombs. An Israeli official told The New York Times some of the uranium stockpile survived the US and Israeli bombings last month
