The big news story of the week was America’s stunningly executed devastation of Iran’s nuclear program–a program to which Barack Obama donated billions of dollars, and which other presidents had been willing to tolerate. The raid was carried out in complete secrecy, with President Trump’s Truth Social post, shortly after B-2 bombers had exited Iranian air space, the first word anyone had. These memes brought a smile to my face. The written article would have been perfect if the author could have inserted his own edited Strikethrough feature on each of the ‘ic” letters at the end of the word Democratic. A simple strike line would give a noticeable visual impact to remind readers that today’s Democrats are not “democratic.”

It's revealing, and a damn shame, that one of America's major political parties can't be trusted to keep classified information secret. I'm talking about you...democrats! Since when does your hatred for Trump and conservatism allow you to commit treasonous acts with impunity while endangering the lives of our military personnel? I hope Pam Bondi is working on the latest leak of a preliminary intelligence report that tried to make the attack on the Iranian installation at Fordo look less than successful. Trump should start laying traps for these democrats to catch them in action and prosecute them.

This feature is good every week on Power Line, but this TWIP is even better than normal, with ... Trump giving Ayatollah Hominy some vitamin B2, four alligators in ICE ballcaps, and Miss Liberty, surrounded by empty beer cans and smoking a cigarette, ready to depart for Florida. Too good.

To borrow a phrase from a writer many of my radical colleagues love to cite, the chickens are coming home to roost at colleges and universities around the country. As anyone paying even a modicum of attention knows, the Trump Administration is endeavoring to curtail some of the more explicit ideological partisanship going on in higher education under the mask of scholarship and teaching. Beyond that, many schools are recognizing that bottom lines have shifted, and faculty hiring will have to adjust. Recently, faculty and administrative communities on many campuses have discussed the difficulties departments are facing in replacing departing faculty lost through retirement or moves. June 27 really needs to be a national holiday wherein we collectively observe the bottomless depravity of the dying news media. We could call it something like “Biden Debate Day.” The date is significant because it was the start of a 131-day journey that showed just how far the media were willing to go to steal an election. June 27 was the presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, or as I like to recall it, “The day the media knew Biden had to go.” Up until then — it was the one and only time voters got to directly compare Trump and Biden side by side in 2024 —

They’re building a statue. Not for Hank Aaron. Not for a war hero, a humanitarian, or a man who walked clean through the game. But for Barry Bonds. Let that sit for a second. The San Francisco Giants will install it outside Oracle Park, treating it like a crown jewel. A monument not just to what he did but to how he did it and how everyone around him pretended not to notice. The fans. The press. The suits. All of them. And now they’re going to bronze it. I remember what he looked like in the ’90s. Lean. Fast. A five-tool player who could steal a bag and hit all fields.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom sued Fox News on Friday, seeking damages of at least $787 million from the conservative network for allegedly defaming him in misleading comments about a phone call with President Donald Trump. “No more lies,” Newsom wrote in a tweet that announced his lawsuit, which the Democrat filed in Superior Court in Delaware, where Fox News is incorporated. The monetary damages Newsom is seeking almost exactly match what Fox Corp. I’m frustrated when colleagues treat evening news as gospel, eagerly discussing 60 Minutes or Rachel Maddow’s take on events. After revelations like CBS’s edited Kamala Harris interview and plummeting cable news viewership, I’m stunned that anyone still trusts legacy media, especially people who otherwise seem rational. A February Gallup poll reveals that 31% of Americans trust media outlets, with 33% expressing “not much” trust and 36% none at all. This is a sharp decline from the 1970s, when 72% trusted mass media. The poll highlights a partisan divide: 54% of Democrats, 27% of independents, and 12% of Republicans trust mainstream media. This gap reflects confirmation bias,

It’s very early in the Iran nuclear story, but one thing is certain: What Barack Obama gave to Iran—millions and millions of dollars in cash on wooden pallets to make The Bomb—Trump just took back. Obama had no problems with Iran developing a nuclear weapon. The money he gave the Mullahs was to go toward that end. Islamophilic Obama thought that the country that vowed “Death to America” and “Death to Israel” had every right to have nuclear weapons with which to carry out those threats. Iran had been threatening to vaporize all of us with nukes for years. Obama apparently thought, “Why not?” and sent them

Think about this for a second, and I mean that: Is there anything good Democrats have added to your life? I’m not talking about “Democrats” ever – Thomas Jefferson having existed is obviously an easy net-plus for everyone’s life – but the current crop of Democrats who exist in Washington, DC, and pretty much anywhere else. The answer is no. AOC has no legislative accomplishments, and neither do any of the other members of the goon squad sniffing around her throne. We know now that Joe Biden and Merrick Garland corrupted and politicized the Department of Justice to a degree never before seen in American history. Biden’s DOJ went after the Catholic Church and parents who didn’t like what their school boards were doing, and that was shameful. But target number one for Biden’s DOJ was Biden’s biggest political rival, Donald Trump. The Biden administration was a banana republic era in American history, in which our government weaponized law enforcement to try to imprison its most dangerous opponent. Senator Chuck Grassley is the whistleblower’s friend, and he has done as much as anyone to expose the corruption of the Biden era.

In a 90-minute rampage Friday night, Boelter is alleged to have done the two sets of shootings and also visited the homes of two other area legislators.

Justice Amy Coney Barrett has gotten a bad rap lately for siding with the leftist wing of the Supreme Court on a few cases, but if you ever needed a reminder of why ACB was such a pivotal addition to the Supreme Court, look no further than her latest majority opinion, which brutally destroyed Ketanji Brown Jackson for her moronic dissent in Trump v. CASA, Inc. In a 6-3 decision that handed President Trump a major victory, the Court put the brakes on runaway district judges issuing nationwide injunctions — an abuse that’s become the left’s favorite tool for stalling any policy they dislike. Our South Carolina neighborhood has green cans for garbage and blue cans for recycling. All our neighbors dutifully separate their garbage. We don’t, and we don’t for a very specific reason. What I discovered a couple of years ago is that, while different trucks drive around collecting blue and green cans on garbage day, at the end of the shift, the trucks dump all the garbage into the same landfill. It’s a scam that, according to my local representative, makes people feel good about themselves. When I lived in Marin County, California, we also had to separate our garbage. That wasn’t surprising, though

The U.S. Supreme Court on Friday handed down its ruling in the parental rights case of Mahmoud v. Taylor. In a 6-3 decision, SCOTUS decided that parents do have the right to opt their elementary school-aged (pre-K through 8th grade) children out of classroom instruction that may include materials on gender and sexuality. The three dissenters were Justices Elena Kagan, Sonia Sotomayor, and Ketanji Brown Jackson. Writing for the majority, Justice Samuel Alito states that the parents involved were likely to succeed in their claim that the school system, by not allowing the opt-out on LGBTQ-themed classroom activities, was an unconstitutional burden on their religious liberties.

Girls don’t usually fight. There are sound reasons for this – reasons of general decorum, biology, hormones, jewelry, dresses and hairdos. But when they do, boy oh boy, it can be a doozy. It happened yesterday at the Supreme Court. The case was an appeal of a district court order issuing a “universal injunction” against President Trump’s executive order seeking to abolish “birthright citizenship.” Birthright citizenship is the kind you get if you’re born in America even if your parents are here illegally. The 14th Amendment seems to provide for it, although there is a non-frivolous argument that it does not.

As RedState reported, the Trump administration scored a major victory on Friday after the Supreme Court ruled that district court-level nationwide injunctions exceeded judicial authority. That will throw a wrench into the left-wing strategy of seeking universal relief in a select few left-wing jurisdictions across the country and hopefully return some actual balance to the separation of powers within the U.S. government. Of course, while the decision was a victory for common sense and for voters who would prefer judges not overstep their bounds to essentially operate as president, it was a defeat for Democrats who have relied on that abuse to remain in power even when they lose.
