Intercepted Iranian communications downplayed the extent of damage caused by US strikes on Iran's nuclear program, the Washington Post reported on Sunday, citing four people familiar with classified intelligence circulating within the US government.
A source, who declined to be named, confirmed that account to Reuters but said there were serious questions about whether the Iranian officials were being truthful, and described the intercepts as unreliable indicators.
The report by the Post is the latest, however, to raise questions about the extent of the damage to Iran's nuclear program. A leaked preliminary assessment from the Defense Intelligence Agency cautioned the strikes may have only set back Iran by months.

Same "4 anonymous sources" that leaked to CNN the day following the attacks? FISA court stuff, full court press on CNN, WaPo, Rueters to get ALL communications with ANY staff that had access(to be 100% lawful)....followed by Treason Charges, or holding them all at Gitmo until investigation/charges get filed....at the very least. Might list Valarie Jarrett, all of her contacts as well.

More lefty vomit. Anything to tear down Trump and erode his support. Don't these guys have anything better to do? Like actually reporting news?

If I'm trying to find the source of a leak, I feed each suspect a slightly different fake leak and then see what the media is claiming.

My money says the entire complex collapsed. Especially if the leftist media is telling us it was no big deal.
The satellite damage shows a few hills that are now valleys and large areas covered in thick layers of concrete dust that blew back out of the entry points.
If the damage was minimal the Iranians would be crowing about it.

Reuters should be labeled a foreign-interest propaganda network and shut down in this country.

Believe the Rats or believe Reuters. Not a good bet either way. In my day, even mentioning the fact that you intercepted something earned you ten years in Leavenworth.
Actually, the extent of the damage doesn't matter. If the Iranians are seen rooting around the dirt at the three nuke sites, they will be hit again, along with the workers.

Reuters should send some reporters to Iran and start digging out the mountain. If they can prove the damage was minor through personal inspection, then we can talk. Otherwise, they should SHUT UP!

My money is with #6. No intel can be 100% sure until the interior be of their mountain lair is checked. If they got those GBU-57s down the air shafts at 1,000 per second, there is nothing left but wreckage and dead bodies.
The media is twisting themselves into fecal knots trying to deny Trump any credit for removing an existential threat to not only Israel but the Middle East and the world itself. If Iran can their hands on a nuke, those fanatical loons will use it.
Trump still has cards to play like destroying Iran's ports on the Persian Gulf. I think the mullahs know this but who knows what they will try.

"there were serious questions about whether the Iranian officials were being truthful" - It seems to me that there is a reasonable expectation that no normal person would have a question, serious or otherwise, about this.

Those statements were directly from the Supreme Leader Mullah.
Even an official said the Nuclear facilities were damaged extremely badly before the Mullah lied.
I guess they are giving us permission to hit everything a few hundred more times!

If Iran was smart (I know) and the damage was not all that extensive, their government should announce that the entire program had been wiped out. All the government is doing now is inviting a second strike.

So, Reuters will happily use a source confirmed to be "unreliable," and proudly announce that they are doing it, just so they can write a piece contradicting President Trump. What's next? Psychics? "Reuters can confirm that a leading psychic says Trump is wrong." Oh and "Jim Morrison is alive and well and living in Kansas, says the same psychic." Reuters shooting to be THE source for all your information on alien abductions, bigfoot, and chupacabra sightings. Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Sure the Iranian's can't figure out how to encrypt their communications? The communications were intercepted because the Iranian's wanted them to be.
