Michelle Obama is back – just not on the political stage. At a time when the Democratic faithful are hungry for dynamic leadership, the former first lady is getting cozy and personal in a podcast called "IMO," a breezy hour-long celebrity chat co-hosted by her brother, basketball executive Craig Robinson. "I feel like at 60, this is the first time where all my decisions are for me," Obama said on her June 19 episode with radio show host Angie Martinez. With her daughters Sasha and Malia launched in their own young adult lives, "this is a period of freedom." Each week

Once again USA Today embarrasses us all with its lame attempt to prop up Michelle Obama.

It's much more fun to be the power behind the throne. All those talking fees. Let others take all the slings and arrows.

I'm not giving USAToday a click, but do they mention anywhere that her podcast is a total failure? No one is listening in.

Oh, come on, Mike. The decision can't be all yours. What about your unfaithful hubby who appreciates his boyfriends more than you. Or is Obie now just a glint in your past during your time as a really lousy first lady in the WH.

Hilarious. Her popularity and appeal are even more overrated than the "husband" that she obviously hates. Her whining self-appointed status as America's Entitled Victim wore thin a long time ago.
Wine-soaked, liberal spinster cat-women, limp-wrist soyboys and the trans mutant community are not a serious voting demographic, and that's her base.

This woman is a major Debbie Downer. Why would anyone want to listen to her? She could find gloom and doom in any circumstance no matter how joyous. Can you imagine being stuck on an elevator with her?

Straight over the edge, off the cliff they currently teeter upon, removing them once and forever from being a viable National Party.

The Left is desperately searching for star power, ANYONE who can get them out the hole they have been desperately digging for themselves. Not that they are not examining their principles to determine what about them repels the voters so much. All they want is someone that doesn't repel the public. Or someone they can build into something like that.
Unfortunately, Mo is not that person. She is inherently unlikeable and self centered. Perhaps not so much worse than many on the Left but she has had many turns in front of the camera and never fails to come off poorly. Now she says "this is the first time where all my decisions are for me" and yet she had the great privilege of being First Lady and never managed to come off as anything but completely unimpressed with the role. Many First ladies have built their experience into a lifelong experience and respect, but it wasn't good enough for Mo.
That's OK Mo. You're not good enough for us either and we really don't care what you are doing.

Yes, democrats are guided by Michelle's words of wisdom. That explains why they are just as angry, unhappy and always complaining about America like she is. They should all try living ten years each in South Sudan.

She may be black and Hillary may be white but when you turn off the video part they could be the same person talking. Depressed, mean, critical, entitled, too much money, hate America and both are married to one of the worst specimens of men ever created but hang on to those coattails for dear life because without them they would be even less meaningful than they are now.

USA conveniently leaves out the fact that very few people are actually watching/listening to this podcast. The world has moved on from the self-proclaimed royalty of the Obamas. Neither of them have the power, nor the appeal, anymore.

Doubtful that a low rated podcast with Michelle and her weird brother is actually guiding people but ok. If USA Today says it, it must be true.

Michelle Obama does not like or respect her husband and she certainly does not love him. I don't turn on a podcast to hear a very wealthy woman whine about her very privileged life. If she had to live my humble life, she couldn't do it.

A "breezy" hour-long chat? More like a whiny, hour-long pity party. Can't feel sorry for her. She's sitting on a load of unearned privilege and is still ticked off at the world.

Sounds good to me. Listeners will hear her complain about having to pay for her own groceries, calling her husband Stinky, and the burden of owning 4 large homes.
