Donald Trump told senior aides late Tuesday that he approved attack plans for Iran.
The development comes amid intensifying conflict between Iran and Israel,as both nations continue to exchange fire in what has become the region’s most volatile standoff in years.
The president has however withheld a final order to see if Tehran would abandon its nuclear program, the Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday, citing three people familiar with the deliberations. The Pentagon is providing options to the President as he decides next steps - but would not confirm whether the military was planning to assist with Israeli strikes.

Right-wing pundit Tucker Carlson suggested that the US should contemplate nuking Iran if allegations are true that the theocratic regime has been conspiring to assassinate President Trump, during a fiery two-hour debate with Sen. Ted Cruz.
Carlson scoffed at Cruz (R-Texas) for confirming to him that Tehran has conspired to kill Trump and argued in disbelief that if those accusations are real, the US needs to respond with military force.
“This just seems like a huge headline and you’re acting like everyone knows this. I didn’t know that,” responded Carlson after having needled the Texas

This past weekend, some 2,000 “No Kings” protests visited American cities in opposition of President Trump’s deportation efforts after violent riots engulfed Los Angeles the week prior.
In addition to signs reading, “Due process is for everyone,” and “Immigrants make America great,” there have been numerous violent encounters between rioters and law enforcement, bystander battery and harassment, and even a shooting in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Meanwhile, Democrat politicians posted an almost verbatim script on social media, espousing America’s greatness in defiance of tyrants. California Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis remarked to MSNBC: “People are very determined to get out there and be seen.

Blue-collar workers have seen real wage growth of almost two percent in the first five months of President Donald Trump’s second term, the largest increase for any administration in nearly 60 years.
The 1.7% pay bump is in stark contrast to negative growth under Joe Biden, according to new data from the US Department of the Treasury.
Since Richard Nixon in 1969, Trump has been the only president to record positive growth for blue-collar workers in his first five months. He also achieved 1.3% in his first term.

As of Monday, the anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement protests and accompanying riots(snip) have cost taxpayers nearly $20 million,(snip)
As CBS News reported last month, the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, which has assisted peacekeeping efforts in the city, is projecting more than a half-billion dollars in OT this fiscal year. A reliance on net zero energy left Spain and Portugal vulnerable to a mass blackout engulfing the region. In what is believed to be Europe’s largest power cut, tens of millions of people were left without electricity, while flights were grounded, trains halted and whole cities left without power, internet access or other vital services. The key culprit for the blackout appears to be green energy. Green energy, unlike gas and coal, does not provide synchronous inertia that stabilizes the frequency in the network.

DEDHAM, Mass. — A jury found Karen Read not guilty of second-degree murder and manslaughter charges Wednesday in the 2022 death of her Boston police officer boyfriend, a case that attracted legions of true crime followers who erupted in cheers when word of the acquittal spread outside court.
The same jury found her guilty of a lesser charge of drunken driving. The jury handed down its decision after deliberating for at least 22 hours since June 13.
Cheers from the crowd outside could be heard in the courtroom as the verdict was read. With cheering supporters, Read departed the courthouse with her attorneys and family.

The parade of clowns on the left, performing like circus monkeys for their base, continued Wednesday, when Reps. Jerry Nadler and Dan Goldman, both Democrats from New York, were denied access to an ICE Court in lower Manhattan.
The building, located at 26 Federal Plaza, is the same facility in which New York City Comptroller Brad Lander was arrested 24 hours earlier.
The ambiguously stray duo, as is the game plan these days, reminded people of their legal right and duty to inspect ICE detention facilities. They take this duty very seriously these days, although we don't recall any similar inspection efforts between January 20, 2021, and January 20, 2025.

Please take note of all the politicians jumping aboard the Zohran Mamdani train — because they’re telling you that they’re just hunky-dory with an anti-Israel zealot who routinely flirts (at least) with blatant antisemitism.
This holds particularly for Brad Lander and Michael Blake, the mayoral rivals cross-endorsing him: They’ve thereby disqualified themselves from even a No. 5 ranking by any decent New Yorker.
And of course it applies to Sen. Bernie Sanders, whose Mamdani endorsement dropped Tuesday, as well and Bernie’s protégé, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
So much for AOC’s efforts to distance herself from Squad-mates like venomous Jew-hating Reps. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib — or ex-Squad-boy Jamaal Bowman,

As you already guessed, the city is Oakland, California. The eighth largest city in Gavin Newsom’s California, and home to northern California’s largest port, the city has always taken a backseat to the more glamorous burg across the Bay. Few will recall that former governor Jerry Brown spent two terms as mayor during his comeback tour to regain his old job in Sacramento.

Zohran Mamdani, a self-proclaimed socialist who is running to be the next mayor of New York City, was caught on camera in a resurfaced video lunging at Border Czar Tom Homan in a totally unhinged dramatic performance, more than likely an attempt to get attention ahead of the race.
In the video from March, Mamdani was seen screaming and trying to push his way through law enforcement. However, it’s even worse when you understand the context behind his outburst. He was demanding the release of a 30-year-old Syrian-born foreign national who was one of the masterminds behind organizing the antisemitic protests that terrorized Jewish students at Columbia.

Add public education to the list of American institutions that have collapsed. Like the legacy media, public schools don’t deserve the confidence or trust of Americans anymore.
These days, reading and writing are a sideshow to the feature presentation: crime, drugs, teacher-student sex, financial mismanagement, and violence. Don't pretend you are safe from the collapse in suburbia.
One suburban South Carolina school district has it all.
Richland Two School District just outside Columbia shows suburbia can’t avoid the collapse of public education.

The numbers don't lie, and they're absolutely devastating for Joe Biden's legacy.
Border Czar Tom Homan dropped a bombshell on X Tuesday night that should have every American asking why we tolerated four years of Biden's border catastrophe.
"In the last 24 hours the Border Patrol encountered a total of 95 illegal aliens across the entire southern border," Homan posted. "That is the lowest number EVER recorded. Compare that to the Biden administration, who surpassed more than 10,000 per day."
Read that again. Ninety-five. That's not a typo. For the first time in recorded history, we're seeing double-digit border encounters. Meanwhile, Biden's administration was routinely processing more than 10,000 illegal crossings daily.

X argues the disclosures mandate mirrors the California law a federal appeals court partially blocked last year, according to Reuters.

The Supreme Court on Wednesday upheld a Tennessee law that restricts access to gender-affirming care for minors experiencing gender dysphoria, clearing the way for the medical treatments for transgender youth to be limited in half of the country.
The high court ruled 6-3 in rejecting the challenge from the Biden administration, three families and a physician who had argued that Tennessee's law violated the Constitution's guarantee of equal protection under the law. The court concluded that the state's measure, enacted in 2023, does not run afoul of the 14th Amendment.

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Wednesday upheld a Tennessee law restricting gender transition care for minors, delivering a major blow to transgender rights.
The 6-3 ruling is likely to have a broad impact as 24 other states have already enacted laws similar to the one in Tennessee, which bars gender transition surgery, puberty blockers and hormone therapy for youth. The court was divided on ideological lines, with the six conservatives in the majority and the three liberals in dissent.
Those laws now look set to survive similar legal challenges. The ruling does not affect states that do not have such bans

Carbon dioxide, we’ve been told over and again, is the enemy that must be subdued if we are to avoid catastrophic global warming. It is, however, a faulty premise. Physics, not politics, tells us that man’s CO2 emissions will not cause catastrophic climate change nor an increase in extreme weather.
“The common belief that CO2 is the main driver of climate change and the EPA Endangerment Finding assertion that ‘elevated concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere may reasonably be anticipated’ to endanger the public health and welfare are scientifically false,” conclude the authors of a new paper.

Green energy is a disaster in several ways: it is inherently unreliable and ridiculously expensive. Some people naively assume, however, that wind and solar energy make up for these liabilities by being good for the environment. They couldn’t be more wrong.
The basic problem with wind turbines and solar panels (plus hypothetical batteries) is that they are extremely low-intensity. Do they work? Intermittently, yes. But compared with conventional energy sources, they produce a very small amount of energy on a per-unit of input basis. Thus, they require both enormous amounts of land and vast quantities of raw materials.
Thus, to supply America’s electricity with wind turbines would require

Now the truth can be told about that massive electrical grid failure in the Iberian peninsula back in April. From SkyNews,
The massive power cut that plunged huge swathes of Spain and Portugal into chaos earlier this year was caused by a miscalculation, the Spanish government has said.

Sara Aagesen said REE did not have enough thermal power stations switched on during peak hours of April 28 when the surge caused a chain reaction leading to the power outage.

Israel needs a 15-ton ‘bunker buster’ bomb to destroy the last untouched nuclear facility in Iran, but only the US has one.
Such a powerful weapon – the largest non-nuclear bomb in the US arsenal – is needed because the target, Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant, is built some 300 feet inside a mountain near the city of Qom, two hours south of Tehran.
The heavyweight explosive is known as a GBU-57A/B Massive Ordnance Penetrator and was designed by Boeing for the United States Air Force.
Its huge weight means it can only be delivered with a B-2 Spirit stealth bomber – a jet Israel’s air force does not possess.

U.S. import prices were unchanged in May, the Labor Department reported Tuesday, offering fresh evidence that inflationary pressure from global supply chains remains muted—even as tariffs rise and trade tensions persist. The Federal Reserve is meeting this week and will announce its latest interest rate decision on Wednesday. The May import data adds to a recent string of soft inflation reports that may influence the central bank’s outlook as it weighs whether further easing is warranted.

Our sister site, Townhall, tipped us to a potential bombshell from FBI Director Kash Patel. Patel has handed a declassified intelligence report over to the Senate Judiciary Committee. This report alleges that the Chinese Communist Party plotted to create fake mail-in ballots in order to weight the 2020 general election in favor of then-former Vice President and Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden.
Oops. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) has already indicated he still has Wray under multiple investigations and that just because he is no longer the FBI Director doesn't mean he won't be subpoenaed to testify on Capitol Hill.

Five days into Israel's "Rising Lion" campaign against the Islamic Republic of Iran, and as President Donald Trump is now calling for the "unconditional surrender" of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and other Islamists in the radical nation's government, Reza Pahlavi, the exiled crown prince of Iran, says now is the "best opportunity" for the Iranian people to "finally overcome this regime and get rid of it.” During an interview with ABC News aired on Monday, Pahlavi told the interviewer that the battle within Iran — in the minds of Iranian people, that is — has been going on for decades.

Border Patrol agents didn’t release a single migrant into the US last month — a staggering drop after the Biden administration allowed 62,000 illegal crossers in the country in May 2024, The Post can exclusively reveal.
Agents caught 8,725 migrants crossing illegally at the southern border last month.
That’s a 93% decrease from May 2024, when 117,905 were nabbed, according to internal data obtained by The Post. And acting Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Pete Flores said it’s a result of the Trump administration’s tough border policies.
One of the most monumental policy changes made by Trump was the reversal of President Joe Biden’s catch-and-release scheme, which resulted in millions

If you don’t follow the press, you are uninformed, goes the old saw; if you do follow the press, you are misinformed.
Nowadays you can actually be, you know, informed if you carefully follow the alternative press and social media.
It’s a major reason why the organized left, the Democrats and the traditional media — but I repeat myself — have less traction today than they used to.
My 2006 book “An Army of Davids” explored how citizen journalists revolutionized reporting on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and frustrated Dan Rather’s attempt to steal the 2004 election with forged records about George W. Bush and the Texas National Guard.

As President Donald Trump huddled with his top advisers in the White House Situation Room on Tuesday, U.S. officials signaled that the next 24 to 48 hours would be critical in determining whether a diplomatic solution with Iran is possible -- or if the president might resort to military action instead.
Trump significantly ramped up his rhetoric against the Iranian regime ahead of the meeting, asserting that the U.S. knew exactly where Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was hiding.
"He is an easy target, but is safe there -- We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now. But we don't want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers.
