Blue-collar workers have seen real wage growth of almost two percent in the first five months of President Donald Trump’s second term, the largest increase for any administration in nearly 60 years. The 1.7% pay bump is in stark contrast to negative growth under Joe Biden, according to new data from the US Department of the Treasury. Since Richard Nixon in 1969, Trump has been the only president to record positive growth for blue-collar workers in his first five months. He also achieved 1.3% in his first term.

This will anger the Dems even more. And, of course, the "mainstream economists" will be baffled. And we should wait for Krugman to prove that this is impossible, and couldn't be actually happening.

Hopefully much more to come. We have been getting robbed by special interests and lobbyists for many decades. President Trump is striking at the heart of the matter. God Bless!

Right...again...isn't President Trump a marvel to watch...he raises flag poles and deals with Iran and Russia....then he holds a news conference in the Oval Office....and answers snide remarks from fake news reporters....never skips a beat...I pray for him every night that his strength holds on...as he deals with everyone who wishes he would fail...at least once...like senator chuckie schummer of New York...who is hoping for one mistake....just one.....

This past weekend, some 2,000 “No Kings” protests visited American cities in opposition of President Trump’s deportation efforts after violent riots engulfed Los Angeles the week prior. In addition to signs reading, “Due process is for everyone,” and “Immigrants make America great,” there have been numerous violent encounters between rioters and law enforcement, bystander battery and harassment, and even a shooting in Salt Lake City, Utah. Meanwhile, Democrat politicians posted an almost verbatim script on social media, espousing America’s greatness in defiance of tyrants. California Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis remarked to MSNBC: “People are very determined to get out there and be seen.

Early Tuesday evening, as National Guard troops faced off against protesters and rioters on the streets of Los Angeles, powerful teachers’ union president Randi Weingarten hosted a virtual town hall with Democratic Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear.and two leading political operatives in Democratic Party politics, Leah Greenberg, founder of a political nonprofit, Indivisible, and Rev. Al Sharpton, founder of another political nonprofit, National Action Network. Greenberg hailed an upcoming wave of protests this Saturday — set to sweep through even "really red areas of the country," marked with mostly Republican voters — as a stand against President Donald Trump. Throughout the call, Weingarten beamed, excited.

Americans are usually an optimistic people – except when it comes to our country’s future. Right-track/wrong-track surveys have long found yawning gaps favoring the dark view. The RealClearPolitics poll average, stretching back to 2009, reports no point with a positive majority but several where the spread was 40 or even 50 points to the negative. When Donald Trump was sworn in last January, the wrong-track view held sway by 30 points. Followers of the news – which presents the president’s first months in office as a kleptocratic frenzy marked by destructive economic policies and naked assaults on the Constitution – would expect these numbers

U.S. President Donald Trump was greeted with a high-volume mix of boos and cheers on Wednesday as he took his seat for his first production at the Kennedy Center, the performing arts facility he has subjected to a conservative takeover. The mixed reception for Trump and his wife Melania as they arrived in the presidential box before a performance of "Les Miserables" reflected the heightened emotions that have been unleashed by his overhaul of the cultural center.

The last time the phrase “Los Angeles riots” dominated the national headlines, Patrick Buchanan told a story about order being restored to the city. “The mob retreated because it had met that one thing that could stop it,” he said at the 1992 Republican National Convention in Houston. “Force, rooted in justice and backed by moral courage.” President Donald Trump has been compared to Buchanan before. As streets burn in Los Angeles in defiance of federal immigration law, he may have the opportunity for his ultimate Buchananite moment as he sends in the National Guard.

Recently, Gov. Newsom weighed in on the Trump administration’s efforts to undo the last four years of border destruction, when an estimated 10-12 million illegal aliens entered the U.S. unlawfully—among them thousands with criminal records. Of the recent Los Angeles efforts of ICE to detain those who entered and reside here illegally, the governor proclaimed: “Continued chaotic federal sweeps, across California, to meet an arbitrary arrest quota are as reckless as they are cruel. Donald Trump’s chaos is eroding trust, tearing families apart, and undermining the workers and industries that power America’s economy.”

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has been hiding the truth from Congress and the public, and they’ve just been caught. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley on Friday called for an investigation of the internal tools the G-men have been using to conceal their official actions from legitimate oversight. Material released by the Iowa Republican senator confirms the existence of a secretive electronic file drawer within Sentinel, the FBI’s case management system, allowing the bureau to reply, “We have no responsive documents” when a congressional committee subpoenas information locked within.

Alan Dershowitz calls his new book his “magnum opus.” It’s the culmination of the legendary legal mind’s 60-year career — and he’s written nearly that many books. But though he’s had multiple bestsellers, including one atop The New York Times list, America’s most famous lawyer worries people won’t read this tome. Blame Donald Trump — it’s a popular pastime these days. Remember the 2002 Tom Cruise sci-fi thriller “Minority Report”? “The Preventive State: The Challenge of Preventing Serious Harms While Preserving Essential Liberties” is the new book version, its author tells The Post in an exclusive interview.

Winston Churchill once warned that “appeasement is feeding the crocodile, hoping he will eat you last.” When it comes to the crocodile of censorship, history is strewn with defenders who later became digestives. Censorship produces an insatiable appetite for greater and greater speech limits, and today’s censorship supporters often become tomorrow’s censored subjects. This week, Secretary of State Marco Rubio stopped feeding the crocodile. On May 28, 2025, Rubio shocked many of our allies by issuing a new visa restriction policy that bars foreign nationals deemed “responsible for censorship of protected expression” in the U.S. The new policy follows a major address by Vice President J.D. That's the stark warning from more than 60 of the world's leading climate scientists in the most up-to-date assessment of the state of global warming. Nearly 200 countries agreed to try to limit global temperature rises to 1.5C above levels of the late 1800s in a landmark agreement in 2015, with the aim of avoiding some of the worst impacts of climate change.

Carbon dioxide, we’ve been told over and again, is the enemy that must be subdued if we are to avoid catastrophic global warming. It is, however, a faulty premise. Physics, not politics, tells us that man’s CO2 emissions will not cause catastrophic climate change nor an increase in extreme weather. “The common belief that CO2 is the main driver of climate change and the EPA Endangerment Finding assertion that ‘elevated concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere may reasonably be anticipated’ to endanger the public health and welfare are scientifically false,” conclude the authors of a new paper.

The Supreme Court on Wednesday upheld a Tennessee law that restricts access to gender-affirming care for minors experiencing gender dysphoria, clearing the way for the medical treatments for transgender youth to be limited in half of the country. The high court ruled 6-3 in rejecting the challenge from the Biden administration, three families and a physician who had argued that Tennessee's law violated the Constitution's guarantee of equal protection under the law. The court concluded that the state's measure, enacted in 2023, does not run afoul of the 14th Amendment.

For political junkies who cut their teeth on “60 Minutes,” “Meet the Press,” CNN, and Fox News, longform podcasts were a godsend. Finally freed of commercial restraints and surface-level superficialities, longform podcasts took you beyond the talking points, treating audiences to a deep dive of a topic’s intricacies. Even when the podcast host had limited knowledge of the subject matter (Joe Rogan, I’m looking at you), the benefit of the longform platform was that it facilitated an open-ended, free-floating conversation where both sides learned more about the other. But there was an important catch: It only worked when both sides were acting in good faith.

Not even close. She was never a feminist heroine because she “was no Tammy Wynette” and did not “stay home and bake cookies and stand by her man.” She was always just a mean, bitter, unattractive woman with narcissistic delusions of her own abilities. And after all the intervening years, when she was Obama’s Secretary of State (a pity appointment because she lost the election to him – better to keep her inside the tent),

Washington — Former President Joe Biden will be in Galveston, Texas, on Thursday to join a Juneteenth Celebration Service at a historic African Methodist Episcopal Church. The event will be held at the Reedy Chapel AME Church, one of the locations where an order announcing the end of slavery in Texas was read on June 19, 1865, two years after President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation, according to the church. In 2021, Biden signed into law a measure that made June 19, or Juneteenth, a federal holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the U.S. Called the Juneteenth National Independence Day Act

Israel needs a 15-ton ‘bunker buster’ bomb to destroy the last untouched nuclear facility in Iran, but only the US has one. Such a powerful weapon – the largest non-nuclear bomb in the US arsenal – is needed because the target, Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant, is built some 300 feet inside a mountain near the city of Qom, two hours south of Tehran. The heavyweight explosive is known as a GBU-57A/B Massive Ordnance Penetrator and was designed by Boeing for the United States Air Force. Its huge weight means it can only be delivered with a B-2 Spirit stealth bomber – a jet Israel’s air force does not possess.
