Can Disney Find Kathleen Kennedy's Replacement
To Fix 'Star Wars?'

Kathleen Kennedy helped run one of the most important entertainment industry properties in film history into the ground. The long-time head of Disney-owned Lucasfilm, Kennedy's been responsible for the most recent "Star Wars" and "Indiana Jones" projects. Relatedly, Disney is looking to replace her as studio head. News broke earlier in 2025 that Kennedy was being pushed out, though she denied that Disney was forcing her out, instead of leaving on her own terms.

Disney could've done better going to the zoo and picking any random monkey, gorilla or chimpanzee. And they work for bananas. Could not have been worse.

I can't speak for anybody else, but replacing KK mightnot make any difference because I think that, in general, people have grown weary of the unending stream of Star Wars movies and superhero movies. You know, enough is enough....move on to something else.

A random 13 year old bit who loves the first three movies could do a better job than Kennedy. That said, pick Jon Favereau, who was the force behind the Mandalorian, the only good Disney Star Wars production. He gets it.

They said Andor was a favorite? I can't seem to accept that. I have now watched both seasons and out of the 20 or so episodes, only 2 or 3 are of any merit. Hard to follow, hard to understand the story line, mostly about fashion in the galaxy far away. Mandalorian and Ashoka are masterpieces, I can only hope for more of those.

Personally, I don't think it matters who they get to replace her. Because the real problem is Disney itself.

Don't really care much about the Edgar-Skin-Suit-Freak-Show version of Star Wars any more. Can't imagine anything drawing me back. Even a "good" show would be tainted by memory of the smell...

Kathleen "Put a chick in it and make her lame and gay!" Kennedy has already killed that goose. It can't be revived. The first trilogy and yes, even the prequel trilogy, are canon. Mandalorian was pretty cool, too. Everything else in the franchise that Kathleen controlled since then is utter crap and therefore must be repudiated.

Pretty hopeless at this point. I'll not go to any more from them. If Disney sold it to someone, and then they made a couple that people said were great.....MAYBE. But as long as Disney gets the money. Not me. Not ever.

Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) is taking a strong stand to protect federal law enforcement officers from the dangerous and growing threat of doxxing— publicly revealing someone’s private or personal information online. Her new legislation aims to safeguard the privacy and safety of those who put their lives on the line to keep Americans safe by making it a federal crime to publish their personal information online maliciously. This comes as Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents have increasingly been targeted by anti-ICE activists who have escalated their efforts to disrupt immigration enforcement and

This week is significant for Christians worldwide, including myself, as we commemorate Jesus Christ’s death and sacrifice on Good Friday and celebrate his resurrection on Easter Sunday. However, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has announced new regulations that will severely restrict foreign missionaries in China starting May 1. Citing the need to combat “extremism” and protect national security, these measures threaten religious freedoms. Under the new regulation, foreign missionaries must obtain government approval for lectures, sermons, and group activities, facing a burdensome application process that details the date, time, location, and attendees.

San Francisco was once a shining example of a great American city, but now it is mostly a punchline. The metropolis that gave us epic Mark Twain quotes, Levi’s, an iconic music scene, the Golden Gate Bridge, and so much more is now known more for excrement on the street, crime, mass drug addiction, and homeless people sprawled across the sidewalks. Given that, you’d think they’d figure out what to prioritize to improve the lives of their citizens. Advertisement Their answer, though, will make your head spin. China doesn't have the best track record when it comes to batteries for things like electric cars and scooters. In fact, some of these Chinese lithium batteries have an unpleasant tendency to become explodey.
