In a ruling that should outrage every parent, taxpayer, and conservative voter in Texas, a federal judge has stomped all over the authority of the Texas A&M University Board of Regents—greenlighting a sexually charged, ideologically driven drag show to proceed on campus despite a commonsense ban. Senior U.S. District Judge Lee H. Rosenthal, appointed by George H. W. Bush, issued a sweeping preliminary injunction Monday that forces Texas A&M to allow the so-called “Draggieland” event—a campus drag show hosted by the “Queer

So the judge banned the ban? I hope they appeal this ban and find a judge who will ban the ban that banned the ban. But then those who wanted the ban banned will appeal the ban that banned the ban of the ban in the hope of a ruling banning the ban that bans the ban of the ban. Steve Bannon was unavailable for comment due to a trip to Banning, CA.

The University didn't 'ban' the show, they just banned it to be performed at their school a taxpayer organization. Besides, drag shows are hate crimes against women. No one would allow a group of entertainers on campus or any where, dressed in blackface so why is it all right for these people to go around in womanface? 'Viewpoint discrimination?' what a joke. How do these nuts come up with these 'explanations?

A thought just came to me.I should be able to go inside an abortuary and calmly and politely talk women out of killing their child. I can't be arrested because that would be against my new found right, ruled by a Federal Judge, of expressing my viewpoint discrimination.

I don't have a big problem with a drag show at a University. Young adults should have enough sense to laugh at the freaks and go on about heir business. But drag show for children is another story.

So many good comments, but #7 wins it for me. And I actually agree with #13: It's college, and they're college students. A little youthful rebellion is not a bad thing. My treasured memories include the pranks played during convocation. The University of Florida President was a humane and conscientious man who stood for hours shaking each graduate's hand. Tradition was to attempt various goofy stunts to embarrass him. The winner that year was an engineering student who was shaking hands when his robes opened up, and an large plastic alligator self-inflated between them to the tune of Pomp and Circumstance. The President just laughed as did we all.

A California bill that would allow higher education institutions to prioritize slave descendants in college admissions is drawing harsh critique from some civil rights experts. Introduced in December, the bill, AB 7, is a project of Democrat Assemblymember Isaac Bryan who represents part of Los Angeles. If passed, it would allow the state’s two public higher education systems, the California State University and the University of California, as well as private colleges and universities to “consider providing a preference in admissions to an applicant who is a descendant of slavery, as defined, to the extent it does not conflict with federal law.”
