Seattle is scrambling to raise the $5,000-a-day hotel costs for 240 asylum seekers who overtook a school play area with tents and foreign flags in a takeover locals called 'threatening.'. Seattle City Council members say they're working with Mayor Bruce Harrell's office to find an emergency solution to the cadre of migrants who camped at Garfield Tennis Courts, part of a community center used by local schools. A $50,000 donation has paid for the migrants and their children to return to the Quality Inn Hotel in Kent, but it's not clear what they will do when the cash for 61 $70-a-night rooms runs out next week.

Is Seattle a sanctuary city? Then send tens of thousands to Washington State if we are not going to send them back to their homelands.

The smart thing to do would be to ship them back to where they came from. But of course Old Joe won't let that happen, he would rather bankrupt American cities than see any of his illegal friends get shipped home.

The Seattle City Council voted unanimously to make Seattle a "sanctuary city." Those politicians got what they wanted. One would expect leaders of a big city like Seattle, to be smart enough to have given some thought to how much it might cost to support an endless stream of impoverished illegal aliens who can't legally work in the US. But the city seems unprepared to deal with being the "sanctuary" it claimed it was. Joe Biden invited illegal aliens to come to the US "to be heard" and he got what he wanted. What was his plan for supporting the 10 million plus illegal aliens here because of his invitation? So many problems in the world we cannot control, but the illegal immigration problems in Seattle and across the US are a result of wildly irresponsible politicians who gave no thought to the declining lifestyle their actions placed upon law abiding Americans.

It is totally disgusting to read the news of the illegals every day. Instead of doing the right thing and sending them back to where they came from they get the red carpet treatment. *spit*

The sense of entitlement is overwhelming. I have no sympathy for the socialists in Seattle. That being said, eventually all the cities with illegals will either run out of money or just get tired of paying for them and turn them out into the streets. It has already happened in San Diego. The the mayhem really reaches a new level.

Fast food chain McDonald's will buy back all of its Israeli restaurants following a boycott of the brand after it was criticised for giving away thousands of free meals to Israeli soldiers. The move to donate meals to troops was later renounced by McDonald's franchises in some Muslim countries, highlighting the polarized regional politics that global corporations navigate during war. Some Western brands are feeling the impact of boycotts in Egypt and Jordan that have now caught on in some countries outside the Arab region including Muslim-majority Malaysia. The popular chain said it had reached an agreement with franchisee Alonyal for 225 outlets across the country employing 5,000 people.

New York AG Letitia James is raising doubts about the 'sufficiency' of the $175 million bond floated by a California billionaire that allows Donald Trump to go forward with the appeal in his New York fraud case. Trump found a way this week to meet another looming deadline to put up the money for a court judgment against him by obtaining a bond from a company overseen by 'subprime mortgage king' Don Hankey. Hankey told he approached Trump after hearing about his efforts to obtain bond for a larger $454 million court judgment, then issued the bond for the lower amount after Trump's team came back to him.
