Should Donald Trump be elected this fall, he should waste no time in reversing Joe Biden’s electric vehicle mandate. Biden not only overstepped his authority, he set the country directly on a course that will bring nothing but trouble.
Acting like the authoritarian that the Democrats and media claim that Donald Trump is, Biden, with a pen and maybe a phone, has ordered through his Environmental Protection Agency to issue a rule that will require Americans to replace their internal-combustion engine automobiles with battery-powered cars. The rule doesn’t

The EPA is an unelected governmental body that needs to go or be restructured.

Spectator TV recently had an interview with Lionel Shriver. Everyone should see it, and disseminate it. What FJB is trying to do to personal transportation must be ended, and Trump is the one to end it, to fire the fatal bullet at Big Green. "It's rank incompetence": Lionel Shriver on the real cost of going electric (Spectator TV, youtube)

While this specific abuse of power is important, a broader issue is blocking the administrative state from taking such sweeping actions without Congressional action. This needs to come to the SCOTUS in a significant and broad case. The court needs to make the statement that the administrative state does NOT have the power to do these things and only Congress, with the President's consent, can take such actions, i.e. make law.
The question is, WHO can make this challenge? It must be someone with standing, i.e. someone who is "damaged" by administrative actions. Typically, that might be a state. It's not clear WHAT the case might be or WHO might bring it to the courts but it NEEDS to happen soon. It could take years to wind through the system and would have a better chance of success with Trump as POTUS and his people in charge.
The resulting shakeup in Washington would be enormous. THIS is why they are so against Trump. He is very willing to snatch power from the bureaucracy.

Mandate or not, we ain't doin' it. The people and government agencies who bought those things are predictably sorry and everybody else was smart enough to just say no.

It isn't like the proof does not exist that EV's will not work.
We have all seen the proof. The buses that will not run in the cold, the charging stations that don't exist, the fires in the cars, the prohibitive cost, the infrastructure that does not exist, and yet this fool orders the EPA to destroy the auto industry.
Only a total moron would still be pushing this agenda.
And Yes the two first things Trump should do after the Inauguration is to set the EPA straight, and close the border and order a round up of illegals for swift deportation.

I think that the EV requirement is merely a steppingstone on the way to "15-minute cities". "Caves of Steel" by Isaac Asimov gives us one possible outcome of where that idea will lead and it ain't pretty.

#5 Gets it. How about returning to the constitutional limits on the power of the executive branch. Let's drop the pretense that "regulations" aren't in fact laws and those high commands from the king circumventing the people's representatives and thus we the people, are not constitutional. Oh congress delegated that authority; show me where the constitution grants them the power to hand their job to the king. Does the Supreme Court also have the power to simply say whatever the King says is fine with them? We have got to stop becoming a different country potentially ever four years. The constitution, if we were to adhere to it, prevents that, as Obama admitted and complained about.

Yes, stop the Bloodbath. In addition, put at least a 100% tariff on all EVs built in Mexico by the Chicoms and shipped to America.

Trump's most important task will be castrating the federal bureaucracy. He must drastically reduce its size - too many employees eating up our tax dollars and ruling our lives as American mandarins because the Congress is too lazy to pass detailed laws themselves. The practice of Presidential 'phone and pen' rules needs also to be stopped permanently. Yes, building a wall and punishing Mexico and Canada for their complicity in the violation of illegal immigration will be important. But WE must also do our part. We must send EVERY Democrat back home at every level of government. We must stop letting teachers indoctrinate our children. No longer can we buy evil from Hollywood or Disney. At the start and end of the day we must remember God's missive, 'If My people will turn to me......'

First, close the border, TIGHT.
Second, start mass deportations.
Third, erase the EPA
This gets rid of all their vehicle mandates. Clean air was achieved decades ago, and yet, like the runaway freight train it is, EPA continues on, generating fraudulent 'science' to 'prove' that they must endlessly, destructively tighten ALL regulations of all emissions. And they fraudulently call the beneficial trace gas, CO2, a dangerous pollutant.
Probably the most "doable" approach is to revise the Clean Air Act to lock down emission standards at the 1995 or 2000 levels, permanently, and eliminate EPA's ability to regulate any tighter regulations without them passing as a free standing bill in Congress.

Not to mention automakers throughout the world on pins and needles not knowing how to invest in products. Only Toyota seems to have anticipated the EV crash.

PDJT has never been a one trick pony. Those who were paying attention noticed he was most definitely a multitasker with a plan.. Comments worrying about this? Where were you?
The border is first. Our motor vehicles are not immediately threatened. The open border threatens US.

Nope.
1. Fire Merrick Garland, Christopher Wray, and Mayorkas.
2. Close the border.
3. Resupply Israel.
4. Cut off aid to sanctuary cities.
