Two top Kansas Republican Party officials are facing internal calls to resign over a viral online video showing people at a fundraiser kicking and beating a mannequin wearing a mask of Joe Biden, underscoring the national GOP’s deep divisions and its struggles to win over voters outside Donald Trump’s base. Mike Brown, the Kansas GOP’s state chair, and Maria Holiday, the leader of the party in Johnson County in the Kansas City area, distanced themselves from the display at a Friday evening fundraiser for the county party. In a Facebook post, the state GOP blamed an outside vendor who rented space at the event to promote a martial arts school.

This article reads like the msm AP. And the incident appears to have been reported by a disgruntled RINO in the Kansas GOP. “The conflict between Brown and Kuckelman reflects the split in the national GOP between former President Trump’s most ardent, election conspiracy-promoting supporters and its more establishment wing,” [Except the writer can’t keep the comparisons parallel in the sentence.] I wish all RINOs would just switch parties. They can fundraise off the communists and still retain their “core values” — which more closely align with the Dems.

Hmmm...I think we should double down and start doing the same with effigies of the same sort with masks of Lenin, Stalin, and Che Guevara. ESPECIALLY Che Guevara because that nasty punched face was put on every t-shirt in America for the longest time and worn til sweat stains and reeked of ganja weed even after a bleach filled laundry washing. They sit there and laugh and smile when the American flag is burned. I think we should sit and smile while effigies of Biden and Guevara and Lenin are burned. Why doesnt the GOP friggin double down?!

From a Chicago Tribune story, picked up and carried via AP in 2018: https://www.chicagotribune.com/2018/05/16/trump-piatas-a-hit-across-cultures/ "Moreno said piñatas used in Mexico City during Good Friday celebrations, traditionally Judas figures, “definitely cross now into politics or caricatures of rich billionaire types.” Last fall, no less than former Mexican President Vicente Fox cracked a Trump piñata on Mexican TV and declared it “Empty. Totally empty.” In Chicago, Dulcelandia has ordered custom-made border wall piñatas for customers, and when former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski spoke on the University of Chicago campus in early 2017, protesters smashed open a Donald Trump piñata, then paraded the head on campus. “I find it a positive way of responding to a politician who goes out of his way to be negative,” said Jeffrey Littleton, an artist based in Uptown who has made several Trump piñatas. “The way I see it, you are a nobody until you’re a piñata.” But protest movements come and go. If piñata makers in Chicago have not lost their enthusiasm for Trump piñatas, there’s a degree of pragmatism at work. Latinos make up a sizable chunk of their business, but many say Trump piñatas have become a surprising and unifying cultural crossover. Massel of Dulceria Mexicana said: “You know who buys a lot of them? White women.”

Donald Trump arrived Thursday at a federal courthouse in Florida, where a judge is hearing arguments on whether to dismiss the criminal case accusing the former president of hoarding and hiding classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate after he left the White House. The motorcade carrying the 2024 Republican presumptive presidential nominee arrived shortly before the hearing was set to begin before U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon, who was nominated to the bench by Trump. The dispute centers on the Trump team’s interpretation of the Presidential Records Act, which they say gave him the authority to designate the documents as personal and maintain possession of them after his presidency.

President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump clinched their parties’ presidential nominations Tuesday with decisive victories in a slate of low-profile primaries, setting up a general election rematch that many voters do not want. The outcome of contests across Georgia, Mississippi and Washington state was never in doubt. Neither Biden, a Democrat, nor Trump, a Republican, faced major opposition. But the magnitude of their wins gave each man the delegate majority he needed to claim his party’s nomination at the summertime national conventions. Not even halfway through the presidential primary calendar, Tuesday marked a crystalizing moment for a nation uneasy with its choices in 2024.

President Biden unveiled his election-year budget pitch Monday, calling for $5.5 trillion in tax increases by raising rates on the wealthy and corporations — while driving up spending by $7.3 trillion on defense, federal benefit programs, affordable housing and student debt cancellation, among other proposals. The fiscal year 2025 budget — which is highly unlikely to be approved by Congress — matches last year’s topline tax increase level and spends $300 billion more while purportedly cutting the federal deficit by $3 trillion over the next 10 years, the White House said on Monday.

The Vermont senator introduced legislation that would do just that. But his proposal is already being met with stiff opposition across the aisle. The Thirty-Two Hour Workweek Act would reduce the standard workweek in the United States from 40 at 32-hours over four years while maintaining worker pay. The Journal was highlighting a study from 2022 that, naturally, was ignored by the mainstream press at the time. Because EVs are as much as 30% heavier than gas-powered cars, which means

Dylan Mulvaney is the apotheosis of this, and his new music video captures the distorted view of womanhood that is being pushed out by the Queer community.
