George Floyd Gets His Own Musical Tribute
— to Be Sung by a High School Choir

A Connecticut school choir is singing a political song about weather, and it doesn't concern climate change. Rather, the subject is social justice's most iconic figure. According to Campus Reform, New Fairfield High has been rehearsing for an important New York performance. To be belted: "Weather: Stand the Storm." The tempestuous title regards the torrential downpour of chaos that occurred in 2020, ignited by the late George Floyd's pivotal plight on May 25th in Minneapolis. The song -- which is part of a larger work -- began as a poem penned by Claudia Rankine, co-founder of the Racial Imaginary Institute.

Comments:

What an ironically appropriate name Ms. Rankine chose for her institute. How sad that these children are being taught to honor this pitiful man, whose life was wasted in sinfulness against God. The bended knees should be in prayer before God for change in the lives of others like him before it’s too late for them too.

I'm beginning to wonder how many other historical figures are complete frauds. This guy was a violent criminal who died of a drug overdose and being big and fat. He's become a saint. Matthew Shepherd was a drug dealer killed in a drug deal who somehow became a poster boy for fake anti-gay crimes. I now distrust everything.

(CNN) Federal Judge Aileen Cannon issued an order Monday for lawyers to submit instructions for a trial jury in former President Donald Trump’s classified documents case – signaling that the debate over whether Trump had the authority to keep documents from his White House could remain a central issue of the case, which could help him at trial.[Snip] Cannon asked both the Justice Department and defense team to contemplate how a jury could be told to weigh the criminal law around national security records if Trump could say the PRA gave him authority to keep documents he chose. The Justice Department maintains his charges have nothing to do with the PRA and are about what happened after the presidency:

The Bar Licensure Task Force claims that the exam is only minimally effective in measuring competency and noted its unfair barrier to marginalized communities aspiring to practice law, according to the Washington Administrative Office of the Courts. The Task Force on Bar Licensure found that the usual bar exam unfairly stops people from underrepresented groups from entering the legal profession.

The Biden administration is expected this week to finalize highly anticipated regulations targeting gas-powered vehicle tailpipe emissions, considered the tip of the spear in its efforts to electrify the transportation sector. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is slated to issue the final rulemaking — which officials have boasted will incentivize greater adoption of electric vehicles (EV), but which opponents have criticized as a de facto mandate — as soon as Wednesday, industry sources told Fox News Digital. The regulations, a key part of President Biden's climate agenda, would ultimately force automakers to more rapidly expand electric options in their fleets beginning in a matter of years.
