Everything's Fine: West Point Drops 'Duty,
Honor, and Country' From Its Mission Statement

I have been pretty hard on clueless Army Secretary Christine Wormuth during the year and a half I've been scribbling here. When you see her as the ballerina atop the melting, gooey, sticky sundae that is the current state of the United States Army itself, you realize the decline is thanks to the intrepid leadership of decades of Milleys and Austins in the upper echelons. Wormuth didn't build the failing base her wokeness happily pirouettes on. She's just making sure there's enough syrup running down the sides to thoroughly cover the formerly solid underpinnings an increasingly corporate Army brain trust had already started melting.

From General MacArthur's "Duty, Honor, Country" speech to West Point, 1962: "The unbelievers will say they are but words, but a slogan, but a flamboyant phrase. Every pedant, every demagogue, every cynic, every hypocrite, every troublemaker, and, I am sorry to say, some others of an entirely different character, will try to downgrade them even to the extent of mockery and ridicule."

So they decided that General MacArthur was a bad example for an Army officer. Do not, and I mean DO NOT join today's army until it is purged of those who would desecrate the memories of American veterans. This makes me absolutely sick to my stomach. They have destroyed patriotism.

America was not founded by soldiers. It was founded by people who longed for freedom. They understood, that to be free, was to be responsible and to make decisions that off times required their life blood. When it did, it was to sacrifice for their children, and loved ones. We need to remember that. Duty is doing the right thing, when you see it and not leaving it for someone else. Honor is owning it. We are human and we make mistakes. We own our actions and the consequences that follow. Country... A community bound by traditions and Laws agreed upon, and requiring Justice and Integrity. I see... that evil creatures seeking their own enrichment are twisting justice and using their wealth to beat down my neighbors, friends and family... I see... that the only right thing to do is to put my life, my treasures, my freedom on the line to oppose those who would subjugate and ruin others for their enrichment... I see... My country is imperiled by this threat. I am not military. I have little training in fighting. But even if the only use for my tired old body is to be a sandbag to guard others more able from the missiles of those evil creatures, I will gladly be that bulwark and smile because my life might save others. Do not fear death. Fear living enslaved, for that is a torture that goes on and on and destroys all that you love. I see... that the Tree of Liberty is thirsty. In honor, In duty, and for Country, it is time to feed it the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Lead by "woke" commanders to a disaster that is just over the horizon. The historical mission statement was fine, changing it will not address the" elephant in the room". Putting it simply, military is being destroyed. Does anyone believe this is the US Army that rolled across the desert in the Middle East and crushed the enemy?

What would Douglas McArthur think about the “woke” Biden era that has taken over the Armed Forces? Currently the Army cannot meet recruiting goals by a long shot and as a result have decided to do away with somewhere about 30,000 special operations force combat positions. In that respect if the balloon really goes up in Eastern Europe or Taiwan, causing Biden and his leftist crew to strike up a merry tune supposedly designed to cause mass enlistment to fight in those foreign wars, with Biden’s record of cutting and running when his leftist advisors tell him that another “bug out” would benefit him politically, do you think that young Americans of the current generation are going to line up to risk their lives on foreign battlefields?

When Presidentish Joe Biden showed similar largess in September of last year, he promised that the money — "merely" $6 billion that time — could "only be spent on humanitarian purposes." Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said his government would spend the money however they damn well pleased, and then did. It was less than two months ago when three American servicemembers were killed and another three dozen wounded in a drone attack by Iran-backed terrorists on a U.S. observation post in Jordan.

One of the most ridiculous and offensive things about "transwomen" and drag queens is that many of them exist as parodies of women, save for those few who are failed male athletes who are in it to steal the glory of victory from actual women. Dylan Mulvaney is the apotheosis of this, and his new music video captures the distorted view of womanhood that is being pushed out by the Queer community. (X) This sort of parodic behavior--the embrace of the worst stereotypes of womanhood--is a natural consequence of men who are attracted to the idea of becoming women in the first place.

Renewables can’t survive on their own The renewable energy industry is a subsidy-based industry, as wind and solar are largely dependent on lucrative state and federal subsidies. However, renewable advocates justify these perpetual subsidies by claiming thermal generators receive more subsidies than wind and solar. This assertion is not based on reality…. *** In 2022, wind and solar generators received three and eighteen times more subsidies per MWh, respectively, than natural gas, coal, and nuclear generators combined.

Jayapal asserted Hur’s report exonerated Biden, but the special counsel disputed her statement. “This lengthy, expensive, and independent investigation resulted in a complete exoneration of President Joe Biden,” Jayapal said. “For every document you discussed in your report, you found insufficient evidence that the president violated any laws about possession or retention

New evidence suggests that the FBI purposefully tolerated and encouraged political violence ahead of the 2020 presidential election so as to target perceived domestic extremists for arrest. The evidence includes “[t]housands of pages of internal FBI reports and hundreds of hours of undercover recordings” that were obtained by The Intercept, a “progressive” news source. “The secret files offer an extraordinary view inside a high-profile domestic terrorism investigation, revealing in stark relief how federal agents have turned the war on terror inward, using informant-led stings to chase after potential domestic extremists,” The Intercept reported last Wednesday.

JNS editor Jonathan Tobin sets forth a rounded view of “the moral failure” Biden’s remarks on Israel. Tobin separately addresses and elaborates on Biden’s demands on Israel, the floating harbor for Hamas, the two-state final solution, the lack of any statement on the explosion of anti-Semitism in the United States, and the the appeasement of Israel haters. Biden has never made a secret of his hatred for Bibi Netanyahu (and it’s easy to see why a stupid, draft-dodging man would hate an intelligent, accomplished warrior). Still, he’s now taking that hatred to new levels as he actively works to interfere in Israeli politics. For decades, leftists told us that it was morally wrong to try to affect a nation’s internal politics, but that doesn’t apply when the nation is a liberal democratic ally…and the world’s only Jewish state. The New York Intelligencer reported on sources saying that Biden intends to overthrow Netanyahu, the democratically elected president of a U.S. ally (emphasis mine):
