A Texas man who launched an aggressive campaign to prevent former President Donald Trump from appearing on the ballot in 2024 has been arrested on tax fraud charges. (snip) The (Supreme) court declined to hear the case, so Castro took his effort to states across the country, filing over two dozen challenges to Trump’s eligibility, The Hill reported. (snip) According to The Hill, Castro was arrested Tuesday and indicted on federal charges related to an online tax business in which he helped people increase their refunds by allegedly lying to the IRS.

Shortly after taking office in 2021, President Joe Biden reversed President Donald Trump's designation of the Iran-backed Yemeni Houthis as a terror group.
In so doing, Biden spoke about the need to deal with the humanitarian disaster in Yemen at the time. The Trump administration believed that the Houthis had used violent campaigns to destabilize the region. The Houthis took over the Yemeni capital Sana'a in 2014 along with much of the northwestern region of the country.
