Trump designated Yemen's Houthis as terrorists—one
day after taking office, Biden reversed it

Shortly after taking office in 2021, President Joe Biden reversed President Donald Trump's designation of the Iran-backed Yemeni Houthis as a terror group. In so doing, Biden spoke about the need to deal with the humanitarian disaster in Yemen at the time. The Trump administration believed that the Houthis had used violent campaigns to destabilize the region. The Houthis took over the Yemeni capital Sana'a in 2014 along with much of the northwestern region of the country. The US and UK conducted joint operations to bomb Houthi infrastructure in Sana'a on Thursday.

Biden did not remove the Hothis from the terror list. Doubt he knows what a Houthi is. Most likely it was the guy that let ISIS exist as a 'state' for a few years and Trump wiped out in a few months. That would be Barack Obama.

Over the past week, we’ve published reams about the allegations against Fulton County, Ga., District Attorney Fani Willis, who has decided to try to make herself famous by targeting former president Donald Trump with questionable charges. According to a motion filed by an attorney representing one of the co-defendants in the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) charges against Trump and over a dozen other defendants, Willis hired Nathan Wade as a special counsel while she was allegedly carrying on an extramarital affair with him. What makes Willis’ hiring of her alleged sneaky link Wade so egregious is that he has no experience prosecuting corruption cases.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis on Sunday slammed Rep. I never want to be a Marjorie Taylor Greene, who has never met me but has allowed her spirit to be filled with hate," Willis told the congregation of Atlanta's Big Bethel AME church on Sunday.

Just three days after Georgia prosecutors indicted Donald Trump last summer, one of the lead prosecutors on the case faced some legal trouble of his own. The prosecutor, Nathan Wade, was held in contempt for defying a court order in an acrimonious divorce proceeding with his wife. Wade, a judge in Cobb County, Ga., ruled, had “willfully” failed to turn over documents about his income — including, his wife later said, income from his work on the Trump case. (snip) Wade is himself a divorce lawyer — the website for his Atlanta law firm touts “decades of experience” handling divorce cases. Elizabeth Mirabelli and Lori Ann West filed a lawsuit against the Escondido Union School District (EUSD) and the California State Board of Education in April last year over a policy that required educators to hide a child’s preferred pronouns and gender identity if a student asks to keep parents in the dark. Mirabelli and West were put on administrative leave in May, but a judge ruled this week that the district must reinstate the teachers.

The Iowa caucuses are upon us, and it appears former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley has improved her position, according to the most recent poll. But while the survey reveals favorable results for the candidate, what it says about her supporters in Iowa is also noteworthy. The poll revealed that most of her supporters would vote for President Joe Biden if former President Donald Trump became the Republican nominee. While the overwhelming percentage of Republican voters in Iowa would support Trump if he gets the GOP nod, Haley’s supporters have a different plan.

President Joe Biden raised more than $97 million in the final three months of last year for his re-election campaign as he prepares to make his case to voters for a second term. The amount was more money than the $68 million that former President Barack Obama raised during the same period of his reelection but it was dwarfed by the $154 million that former President Donald Trump raised for his. Biden's war chest was boosted by a series of star-studded fundraising events, including one in Boston that featured singer-songwriter James Taylor, and three days in California for gatherings with Steven Spielberg, Barbra Streisand, Shonda Rhimes, Rob Reiner, and David Geffen.
