Republican Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene filed a complaint Wednesday requesting a criminal investigation into Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. Willis, who brought the racketeering case against Trump and co-defendants for alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia, allegedly hired a man she is romantically involved with as special prosecutor and approved “lucrative” compensation that he in turn used to take her on vacations, a motion filed by a Trump co-defendant Monday alleged. Greene sent a criminal referral to Republican Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp and Attorney General Chris Carr on Wednesday expressing “serious concerns” about the allegations, NBC News reported.

Assuming that he has the legal authority, Kemp should fire Fani on the spot for using and paying for a non approved prosecutor. She should be made to repay the taxpayer funds and be immediately disbarred.

An attorney commenting this week on the Fani Willis / boyfriend imbroglio opined that if the alvine dejections hit the fan exactly right, she and her paramour could find themselves without law licenses ... disbarred. Without their legal careers, what would they do? Well, for one thing, they couldn't prosecute anyone else ever again, including PDJT.

California governor Gavin Newsom proposed a $292 billion state budget for the 2024-2025 fiscal year, driving economists to wonder why he plans only $8.5 billion in real spending cuts against what the nonpartisan Legislative Analyst’s Office says is a projected $68 billion deficit. A federal judge ruled Wednesday that two California teachers who were placed on administrative leave for refusing to hide students’ gender transitions from parents should be reinstated. Elizabeth Mirabelli and Lori Ann West filed a lawsuit against the Escondido Union School District (EUSD) and the California State Board of Education in April last year over a policy that required educators to hide a child’s preferred pronouns and gender identity if a student asks to keep parents in the dark. Mirabelli and West were put on administrative leave in May, but a judge ruled this week that the district must reinstate the teachers.

Over the last several years, the U.S. Military has struggled to meet recruitment goals across all branches, perhaps most of all with the Army. One of the reasons for this has now been explained. White men are no longer enlisting in the numbers they did in the past. Families which used to encourage young men to enlist are doing so in far fewer numbers for reasons which are obvious to many. New woke policies, the vaccine mandates and the embrace of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) policies mean white recruits are looked over for advancement in the US Military today. All of these factors have all contributed to this decline
