Republican presidential primary candidate Nikki Haley once seemingly parroted a talking point used by Democrats that suggests climate change is partially to blame for mass immigration to the United States and other countries. In January 2017, Haley went before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to be confirmed as ambassador to the United Nations (UN) in then-President Donald Trump’s administration. Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-OR), in a written question, asked Haley about so-called “climate refugees,” as Democrats claim that mass immigration to the U.S. and other countries is partially due to global warming’s destroying crops, conditions, and communities in certain regions of the world. In the piece titled “The Responsibility of Republican Voters,” the left-wing newspaper tried to guilt Republicans into supporting someone else.

Nikki Haley bowed out of the two upcoming Republican presidential primary debates in New Hampshire the morning after she landed third place in the Iowa caucuses.
The former South Carolina governor announced the news on social media, saying the next time she debates she will be on stage beside Joe Biden or Donald Trump, who has skipped all five Republican primary debates.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is seeking to persuade a federal court to dismiss a lawsuit challenging its repeated advisories against using ivermectin to treat COVID-19.
The FDA in a sealed motion asked the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas to dismiss the suit, which was brought by three doctors who allege the FDA’s warnings were illegal.
The late 2023 motion was sealed because exhibits the government cited “include confidential information” from a separate legal proceeding, according to a government brief.
