Prince Harry is to be inducted alongside Apollo 11 hero Buzz Aldrin as a 'living legend' of aviation at a glitzy Beverly Hills ceremony hosted by John Travolta. The Duke of Sussex, 39, has been recognised ahead of the likes of Charles Duke--who became the youngest person to walk on the moon in 1972 when he was aged 36.[Snip]It is understood that his work with setting up the Invictus Games Foundation will also be celebrated, according to the awards. It is not clear whether Harry, or his wife Meghan Markle, will attend the ceremony.

I guess the "Legend of Aviation" award has about the same "value" as the "Nobel Prize" does. Ovomit got the "Nobel Prize" for the great "accomplishment" of not being George W. Bush. And hen-pecked Harry gets the "Legend of Aviation" award for doing the same job as countless other military pilots all over the world. What a joke!!!

What are these people doing to our heroes? Is it a deliberate effort to demoralize our society. Harry was one of hundreds of soldiers who flew helicopters in Afghanistan and many never got home. What makes this guy special? This is disgusting. I have no beef with Harry. It is the whole mockery of our heroes.

Definitely a joke and typical of all hollywood awards. You know that Harry was protected from harm as much as possible and probably flew the mail in his helicopter while escorted by a lot of protection. As opposed to somebody like Canadian Spitfire ace George Frederick Beurling who joined the RAF at age 18, had 31 kills against the Germans and could spot their planes from miles away.

The joke is told about a poll taker who asks about ignorance and apathy in the country. "I don't know, and I don't care," says the respondent. The consequences of that attitude are playing out across America. There are two questions most reporters never seem to ask when it comes to mass demonstrations like the recent ones over the Israeli-Hamas War. One is whether they are spontaneous, or are they organized and subsidized by outside entities? Second, have large financial gifts from foreign entities and left-wing organizations compromised some universities that fear losing money should they speak up in ways that might offend the donors?

The new estimates – which could not be confirmed – are over 100 miles longer than the original numbers, which placed the tunnel network at around 250 miles long, the outlet noted.
