Mexico’s president rolls Biden, gives
US worse than nothing on border

The White House sent Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Wednesday to meet with Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, hoping to obtain his assistance in slowing the wave of migrants crossing through his country on their way to ours. The resulting “Joint Communique” from that parley reveals Mexico City has no interest in assisting an administration that won’t secure US borders. The trip itself, scheduled during a holiday week when little gets done in either capital, reeked of desperation, and nothing in that communiqué dispels the stench.

Comments:

Nonsense. The meeting never took place - - because Obrador took one look at Tough Tony and caught the next express train to Tegucigalpa. The Mexicans are afraid of Tough Tony - - just like eveyone else on the planet.

It's not Mexico's job to prevent illegals from entering our country. Blinken, Mayorkas and Biden will say sorry we tried, but Mexico won't stop them.

This whole charade was nothing but a photo op to fool the citizens of US that this anti-America administration is trying to fix the border crisis. All they have to do is follow the law. Bidens refusal to follow those laws should get him impeached.

They didn't go there to get help from Mexico. They probably threatened Mexico to beef things up. When does border patrol start to do their jobs? Everybody knows biden is illegal, and he's committing illegal acts by allowing/advancing this run on our border, so when do the workers of border patrol unite?

Bingo #1! It is NOT Mexico's job to police our Border. It's up to OUR Government to do that and THEY are the ones responsible for letting MILLIONS of Illegals run roughshod over our Country. I am 82 years old and I can say I never, ever have seen our Country destroyed in such a fashion and our Government is doing it! Where are the Republicans? All they do is hold meetings and say they're working on it. They haven't done a darn thing. Now I read Republicans have already voted yes to release more money to Iran. The Senate will vote next. Wouldn't it be great if THEY had the Balls to vote NO! Looks we need to throw out a whole Bunch of our own Party and replace them with people willing to act like they LOVE our country! Right now we have a group of House Members who are simply sitting in their Cushy offices and collecting their Pay (and whatever else they can get under the table), then when they're about 99 they will finally be carried off half dead! A Pox on all their Houses!

Why does Bien want Mexico to stop the invasion, If he wants it stopped he has the national Guard the Arme and the Navy to do it , plus the Border Patrol. It is so easy to slow the invasion, it only takes a phone call. When they pile up in maxico the Mexican president will be happy to send them back where they came from.

Democratic New York City Mayor Eric Adams issued an executive order on Wednesday, requesting that buses transporting migrants into the city arrive only between 8:30 a.m. and noon on weekdays at one drop off site. "We cannot allow buses with people needing our help to arrive without warning at any hour of day and night," Adams said during a virtual news conference. "This not only prevents us from providing assistance in an orderly way, it puts those who have already suffered so much in danger."

New testing shows that some popular electric vehicles fall short of their government-estimated driving ranges, underscoring anxiety Americans have about the range of electric vehicles. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency range estimates listed on electric vehicle window stickers and at fueleconomy.gov don't have separate city and highway ranges, as they do with conventional cars and hybrids. Consumer Reports, the nonprofit research, testing, and consumer advocacy organization, put electric vehicles to the test.

Yes, America, Asa Hutchinson is still running for president. Not only is the former Arkansas governor still in the race, he told The Post this week that he has no plans on dropping out anytime soon — despite admitting his campaign is a “paycheck to paycheck” prospect. “We certainly don’t have the megadonors behind our campaign and we’re not self-funded like some candidates, so we’re living like many Americans — from paycheck to paycheck,” said the 73-year-old, who ended last quarter with just $325,287 cash on hand, according to federal records.

Americans may have found something they like less than a hypothetical Kamala Harris presidency — four more years of Joe Biden. A new poll out Monday shows the veep’s favorability rating inching above the commander-in-chief’s for the first time, as reports indicate growing alarm inside the White House about Biden’s prospects in 2024. The Monmouth University survey showed the 81-year-old Biden receiving just a 34% approval rating — the lowest in the poll’s tracking of his administration and down 20 percentage points from its peak in April 2021 — and a 61% disapproval rating.

Uncle Sam wants YOU … to hire Grandpa as a piano lugger. Or else. That’s the latest madness from the federal government’s woke bowels: an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission lawsuit against Fresno-based Meathead Movers after the company refused to comply with a demand for a $15 million settlement. Meathead’s crime? “Discouragement bias,” i.e., the claim that hiring student-athletes of both genders in tip-top shape as movers and touting that fact in ads somehow discourages older people from applying for jobs.

Tensions are increasing between President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. According to a new report at Axios, a frustrated Biden hung up on Netanyahu after a dispute about how to handle tax revenues the Israeli government collects for the Palestinian Authority. I wrote earlier this week about a report that Biden allegedly talked Netanyahu out of a "preemptive strike" on Hezbollah that Israel was reportedly planning in the wake of the Oct. 7 attack on Israel by Hamas. That report comes at a time when Biden needs to be seen as more of a competent leader, and Netanyahu shot it down. Now we learn

Every day, President Joe Biden’s administration releases about 5,000 border crossers and illegal aliens into the United States interior — many ending up in New York City, where they can work off the books, receive protection from the city’s sanctuary policy, and enjoy free housing

For Republicans, it could be a very happy new year indeed. The 2024 elections hold the potential for a trifecta: winning unified control of the federal government, including all its elected branches, for the first time in eight years. “Could” is the operative word, however. Republicans have an opportunity, but they must capitalize on it to bring their electoral dreams to fruition. The fact that it takes more than good poll numbers and flawed opponents to win in a polarized political climate can itself be summed up in one of the most futile phrases of the past few years: the “red wave.” Just two years ago, Republicans looked to have a chance
