I haven’t paid much attention to RFK Jr. He’s been shut out of the Democrat Party process, where the powers that be don’t want a challenger to Joe Biden or whomever they select to replace him as nominee.[Snip] One important barometer will be how viciously the Democrats and media attack RFK Jr. if he goes independent.[Snip]If they go soft on him once he’s out of the party, or even promote him through proxies, then you know he’s harming Trump or whoever the Republican nominee ends up being.

I hope it takes enough votes away from Biden that it punches Biden in the gut.

RFK, Jr.'s independent candidacy would hurt Trump worst, because it would make it easier for the media to conceal a swampy steal.

I think his running would take votes away from both Biden and Trump.
Dems who know that Biden is a walking screw up, but won't vote for a Republican would vote for RFK.
Repubs who know that Biden is a walking screw up, but hate Trump would vote for RFK.
The question is who would be hurt more? My guess would be Biden.

I’m with number 2. I think this has been the plan all along. RFK talks a good game but he’s still a democrat

#3 My thoughts exactly. I think both will be hurt. But democrats are more loyal to their guy. Even though they know that Biden is compromised, they'll vote for him just so Trump won't win. Republicans have too many never-Trump-ers and many seem to be enamored with RFK. Unfortunately, I think Trump will be hurt more.

I think it will hurt Trump. Kennedy states several things that the weak independent voter will fall for, without realizing it's a Kennedy, and that he will just fall in line with the leftist BS. Kennedy says things that will appeal to those independent voters who might lean toward Trump because they believe the country is headed in the wrong direction, think Biteme is too old, but who really don't want to see Trump in the White House again. There are a lot of voters like this. Voters who don't pay attention, who watch and believe the MSM, and who spend a large amount of time on social media. They are the clueless voters who quite frankly should have their voting rights revoked.

Kennedy will always have Democrat fragments in his DNA.

This head fake will not harm Donald Trump in the least. You either prefer him above all others or you are hopelessly infected with TDS. Leftists who are disenchanted with Joe Biden will simply stay home. MAGA

It's too early to say who he would hurt the most. Old Joe may look like an Egyptian mummy by Nov. 2024. How many Dems will think twice about voting for a corpse?

Only a small percentage of Biden voters are happy with Biden, look at his rallies. I suspect many would take any alternate offered.
Trump's supports on the other hand would walk over glass to vote for him. Look at the trump rallies, those people will not be voting for RFK. If the shame impeachments and indictments haven't changed their minds RFK is not going to. Many of these voters want revenge and Trump is they guy promising it.
I'm pretty sure Biden will be hurt much more by a RFK run.

If Kennedy takes enough votes away from Biden, resulting in Trump winning the election, Kennedy will be a sure thing for any job that he is interested in filling in the new Trump Administration.

Trump has a very loyal base, most love the guy. Biden has nothing like this. Democrats that are voting for Biden are doing so just because they hate Trump or would never vote for GOP. Yes some never Trumpers might consider voting for RFKjr because they don't want to vote for Biden but they were never going to vote for Trump. So RFKjr running as an Independent would probably hurt Biden and help Trump

Comments posted to this article include one from a LI author stating that her Democrat friends do not want Joe Biden or President Trump and were planning to vote for Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.; from her personal observation, “there are many of those voters out there.” She believes there to be a fair number of “establishment” Republican voters who would “never vote for a conservative or populist and certainly not Trump” so would vote for RFK,Jr. Other commenters point out RFK,Jr. appeals to the solid right demographic and that mothers love RFK,Jr. because of his stance on vaccines.
