Dove Faces Boycott for Partnering with

Personal care brand Dove is facing a boycott after partnering with Black Lives Matter and “fat liberation” activist Zyahna Bryant, who ruined a white UVA student’s life in 2020 over a “misheard” remark. Now, #BoycottDove is trending on X/Twitter. Dove recently partnered with Bryant — who spread a false rumor about a fellow University of Virginia (student) in 2020 — in a new and bizarre campaign to promote “fat liberation,” a move that resulted in the hashtag “#BoycottDove” to trend on X, formerly known as Twitter.

She's not fat -- she's Obese. Her appearance is bad enough, but also is BLM to the max. No more Dove for me.

There is nothing at all special about this woman. She is morbidly obese. The health problems associated with that kind of weight are numerous. Instead of holding her up as some kind of bizarre role model she should be encouraged to get into a health and fitness program. The woke corporate vultures are contributing to her early demise.

Now it's "fat liberation,," is it? My advice for the obese: Stop eating and/or get some exercise. This is a matter of personal responsibility and self-control. Yes, that's takes work.

I can say this here because I'm anonymous. I hate seeing fat and homely (Fat girls are not necessarily homely) men and women in commercials. I am certainly not Twiggy (ask a Boomer) but when I'm looking at underwear, makeup, clothes and (e-gad) bathing suits, I don't want to see myself. I want to imagine that the products will improve my appearance. Even if is only in my imagination. I know there is no magic in what they sell but I'd rather not feel that I'm not starting out in the hole. This whole campaign goes against logic.

Utah Republican Sen. Mitt Romney is retiring, and no one is more upset than the very press that savaged him when he ran for president in 2012. They attacked his religion, his wife’s multiple sclerosis, and accused him of hating dogs and being a gay basher in high school. (snip) Now, more than a decade later, they celebrate Romney. Politico warned that, "Romney’s exit threatens a collapse of Senate’s middle." (snip) Lefty journalists manipulate every Republican primary to get the farthest left candidate they can find, Arizona Sen. John McCain, who they called a "maverick," both Bush presidents and Romney.

His mother Stephanie accused the district of only protecting transgender students and not looking at the "whole picture."

“Nonprofit voter registration” doesn’t sound interesting. Despite IRS rules prohibiting 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit groups from engaging in partisan electioneering, it has long been an open secret that the purpose of their work is to register voters from favorable demographics in order to help get Democrats elected. The Soviets successfully pulled off a number of dirty tricks which increased their power but impoverished their citizens. Among them was to stir up class warfare by politicizing envy. Thus, unsuccessful farmers were urged to demonize and even kill “kulaks” -- that is, any productive farmer in the area. Another trick was to fail to provide factories with sufficient raw materials to fulfill the overly optimistic state-set production quotas and then criminally prosecute factory managers who couldn’t meet these targets as "saboteurs.” It deflected from their own failures but unsurprisingly resulted in a shortage of qualified managers and engineers.
