Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò has once again condemned the rise of “globalism,” stating that it prepares humanity “for the political rise of the Antichrist.” In an August 24 interview with a French-language news outlet, Viganò commented on the rise of “globalism” and its impact upon society. Re-issuing a denouncement of globalism which he has consistently made, the archbishop linked corruption in society to corruption in the Catholic Church:(Snip)Continuing, the archbishop painted a link between globalism and satanism, arguing that they are almost synonymous. “The essence of globalism is satanic, and the essence of satanism is globalist.”

In a recent opinion piece for Politico, the head of the Open Society Foundation (OSF), Alex Soros, notes his deep concern over the potential for a “MAGA-style Republican victory in next year’s U.S. presidential election.”[Snip] As Soros himself says, it is not only Donald Trump, but any potential U.S. president who shares his “isolationist and anti-European policies” who represents a threat to his agenda.[Snip] Nevertheless, he maintains he is mobilizing his powerful global operations to counteract any outbreak of sanity at the national level of U.S. politics. “We are adapting OSF to be able to respond to whatever scenarios might emerge, on both sides of the Atlantic,” he said.

The California legislature passed a bill Friday that would threaten parents with losing custody of their children if they question their child’s supposed desire to undergo disfiguring hormone regimens or surgeries to appear more like the opposite sex.
Assembly Bill 957 was initially proposed to require courts to consider whether parents were “affirming” a child’s identification as transgender in custody cases. The legislation was later amended in June to declare parents who aren’t deemed sufficiently “affirming” liable for child abuse.
In a tweet sent out over the weekend, Rob “Meathead” Reiner declared that “For our Democracy to survive, two things have to happen. Donald Trump needs to be Convicted for Jan. 6th and there can be no Third Party Candidate.”
Reiner’s comment was so blatantly anti-democratic that it elicited an avalanche of criticism, some of it from leftists who didn’t particularly like the idea of barring third-party candidates.
