After initial reports suggesting that Trump's team wouldn't be allowed in the spin room, Gaetz clarified on Newsmax that they actually would be allowed, and a Fox News spokesperson confirmed they would be allowed as guests of a different media outlet.(Snip)"I can tell you now that's all been sorted out. We are going to have the Trump team in full force at this debate. We are going to have access to the spin room. We're going to be there to observe the debate, and I can't wait to be giving my hot takes on Newsmax afterward and share with you my perspective on how it went," he added."

Fox is really determined to lose viewers. They have so damaged their reputation that they will take a tumble and fall to MSNBC numbers. Clearly, once you shill for the left, your days are numbered. Corporations like Anhauser-Busch, Target, Ulta, Ben and Jerry’s can’t wait to show their loyalty to the radical left at the expense of their bottom lines. If they want to go out in a blaze of glory, have at it. Americans are sick and tired of having their anti-American ideology shoved down our throats. I will not be watching Fox.

Certainly "Trump's Team" shouldn't have a place in the after debate discussions. If Trump couldn't be bothered to appear then his "Team" is a very poor substitute and I have no interest in hearing them denigrate those candidates who did show up.

“When God tells you what to do you cannot hesitate.”(Snip)The power of these 10 words threatens the most powerful individuals and institutions on the planet, and what might otherwise be their total control over governments. These words express a principle that an authoritarian government cannot tolerate. They proclaim “Government is not the ultimate sovereign. God is the ultimate sovereign. And if you challenge my God and make me choose, I will obey God, and I will defy you.” There’s plenty out there to defy these days. One big piece at a time, the whole world is coming under the control of fewer and fewer people.

Turns out Donald Trump will be at Wednesday night’s first Republican primary debate--just not the Donald Trump everyone’s thinking of. Donald Trump Jr. said Monday he will attend the initial showdown as a surrogate for his father, former President Donald Trump--who confirmed Sunday night he would not be on the Fiserv Forum stage. “We’re excited to see all of our friends in Milwaukee who want to Make America Great Again!!!” Trump Jr. posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) after the Daily Caller reported he and his fiancée, Kimberly Guilfoyle, will show up at the Fox News debate.

Feminist author and journalist Naomi Wolf has doubled down on her assertion that the Pfizer COVID mRNA injection was known to be lethal to unborn babies before being rolled out, declaring that the company’s own documents show it “murders babies in the womb.”(Snip)The Pfizer document revealed that in its clinical trials, “adverse events” occurred in over 54 percent of cases of “maternal exposure” to the vaccine (including through intercourse, inhalation, and skin contact); 53 women (21 percent) in its trial suffered spontaneous abortions “following BNT162b2 (Pfizer mRNA) vaccination”; and six premature labor and delivery cases resulted in two newborn deaths.

The Biden administration is quietly auctioning off millions of dollars’ worth of unused parts from former President Trump’s border wall for peanuts--in an apparent end-run around pending legislation in Congress. Since April, GovPlanet, an online auction house specializing in military surplus, has sold 81 lots of steel “square structural tubes”--intended for use as vertical bollards in the border barrier’s 30-foot-tall panels--hauling in about $2 million.(Snip)Up to $300 million worth of taxpayer-funded wall components have been left to rust since Biden came to office, Republicans have said.(Snip)But GovPlanet is under strict instructions to keep the border-wall connection hush-hush.

A requirement that voters present a valid photo ID when they show up at the polls is unfortunately working exactly as the Republicans who passed it last year intended. The Lorain County Board of Elections on Wednesday discarded the provisional ballots of 160 voters because 39 didn’t have a photo ID and 121 had expired IDs when they showed up to vote in the special election Aug. 8. “That makes me very uncomfortable,” Democratic board member Anthony Giardini said. “These people weren’t cheating.” (Snip) The board’s other Democratic member, Inez James, called it “voter suppression.”

I’ve made the point repeatedly that both the D.C. and Georgia indictments of Donald Trump start from a premise that isn’t true--that an attempt to “overturn” an election in and of itself is criminal. The means by which an election is overturned may be criminal, but the end goal is not. With regard to the D.C. indictment, I questioned Where is the crime?(Snip)The core of the alleged crime is disruption of the electoral count, but that took place because of the riot, and Trump has not been indicted (yet) for inciting the riot.

One of the things that’s important for sane people to keep in mind is that the war on climate change is a war on food.(Snip)It’s also obvious when the sinister World Economic Forum keeps insisting that we learn to enjoy bugs (while they enjoy filet mignon, of course). Fully 82 percent of Empire State voters said the stream of some 100,000 asylum seekers was a concern, and more than half of them — 54 percent — said it was 'very serious,' a Siena College poll shows. When asked about the settling of migrants in New York these past two decades, nearly half of respondents — 46 percent — called them a 'burden' on resources. Less than a third called them a 'benefit.'

All eyes will be on Milwaukee tonight for the first Republican presidential primary debate. Despite more than eight years of brazen attacks on his opponents since riding down the golden escalator to announce his candidacy in 2015, Donald Trump has decided to sit out this debate. Unsurprisingly, the twice-impeached and now four-time indicted ex-president is, first and foremost, a swampy politician who won’t risk getting rhetorically pummeled by one of his challengers....As former Labor Secretary Robert Reich wrote in an essay last month, Bidenomics “is turning out to be the most successful set of economic policies the United States has witnessed in a half-century.”

Hawaii Democrat Governor Josh Green took to “Face the Nation” Sunday to agree with host Margaret Brennan’s assertion that climate change “amplified” Maui’s horrific wildfires. However, there were multiple failures on many fronts by authorities, including warning sirens that didn’t go off, delays of much-needed water because of “equity concerns,” negligence by a power company, and disaster officials who had no experience in emergency management. Green: "GOVERNOR JOSH GREEN: So it's usually tsunamis and hurricanes [that are a danger to Hawaii]. For perspective, we've had six fire emergencies this August. We had six fire emergencies between 1953 and 2003. That's how -- how fast things are changing.

Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc.’s stock tumbled 22% Tuesday, after the retailer’s second-quarter profit missed consensus by a wide margin, while sales also fell short., and the company squarely blamed theft for its woes. It was the company’s first earnings miss in three years. The last time Dick’s missed profit and sales consensus was in April of 2020, when it was reporting first-quarter earnings for that year. “While we posted another double-digit EBT margin, our Q2 profitability was short of our expectations due in large part to the impact of elevated inventory shrink, an increasingly serious issue impacting many retailers,” said CEO Lauren Hobart in a statement.

A summer surge of COVID-19 has some wondering aloud if we should return to mask mandates. For now, the official line, despite the media effort to rekindle coronavirus hysteria, is that it’s unlikely. But we heard that before, in 2020, right before public health officials dropped their mask tyranny on us. If they do it again, we have an obligation to say no. Are we calling for civil disobedience? Are we suggesting that Americans resist orders that are not laws but are instead decrees issued by despots? Absolutely, and without reservation. Masks are dehumanizing.
