I'm starting to think that getting ratioed is a fetish for Keith Olbermann, who I can't give a title to because one can't be sure what he actually does these days. I believe he's now self-hosting a podcast no one listens to after getting fired from whatever his last media job was. Given Olbermann's wealth of time in his old age, being an unmarried, childless scold, he decided to attack Riley Gaines for no legitimate reason whatsoever. In a social media rant, he proclaimed that the women's sports activist "sucks at swimming." You see, she had the audacity to suggest that being able to define a woman is

NAPLES, Fla. – From yard art to paintings, sculptures, mailboxes, T-shirts, ties, socks and underwear, the likeness of a flamingo can show up nearly anywhere in Florida.
Flamingos even adorn Florida's highly coveted lottery tickets, but there's still doubt that the bird ever lived here.
This week, flamingos showed up in the flesh as dozens of the birds were reported along the west coast of Florida – just as Hurricane Idalia chugged northward through the Gulf of Mexico. One sighting was at the Sanibel Causeway in southwest Florida.
It was the first time a flamingo had ever been documented in places like Alachua County, about 80 miles southwest of Jacksonville.

As vice president, Al Gore led the negotiations to establish the U.N. Kyoto Protocol in 1998. The Kyoto Protocol was a "climate treaty" ostensibly designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by the signatories during the period 2005–2012 to a level equivalent to 95% of each country's 1990 emissions. While it did not introduce any new scientific means to reduce CO2 emissions (worldwide CO2 emissions grew by 32% during the period), the Kyoto Protocol introduced a novel economic concept: the trading of carbon credits and offsets.
At first, the concept of trading carbon credits was straightforward; it was known as "cap and trade."

Hunter Biden’s laptop is a treasure trove of potentially felonious activity. It’s a roadmap into the entire Biden operation concerning shady deals with corrupt oligarchs whose monies were funneled into shell companies owned by the family. These proceeds soared into the millions of dollars, which explains the over 170 suspicious activity reports from six banks regarding the family’s financial transactions. Joe Biden’s son raked in $20 million from these people—he still didn’t know what was going on? Any parent would know, and Hunter isn’t one to keep his mouth shut about his lucrative exploits. His ego wouldn’t allow it.

Happy Friday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. (Snip) The commie puppet masters who run Joe Biden’s brain have made no secret of their contempt for the Second Amendment and law-abiding American gun owners. They’ve had their senile mouthpiece babbling about “assault weapons” almost from the moment he was installed in the Oval Office.
Democrats don’t have a lot of luck with sweeping gun control legislation for a couple of reasons. The first is that they keep passing laws that make gun owners who have adhered to the law criminals overnight. These laws eventually find their way to a judge or a court that says, “Yeah…no.”

Most of our schools teach almost nothing of importance, and nothing is more important than the study of good and evil. In the United States today, nearly all schools, from elementary through graduate, concentrate on teaching about racism, sexism, preferred pronouns, homophobia, transphobia, LGBTQIA+, climate change, diversity, equity, inclusiveness and white guilt. In other words, most of our educational institutions, including the most prestigious, do not educate.
Here are a few proofs.
It is almost certain that the great majority of American high school and college students

One group of buffoons who have come to be roundly reviled by both the Right and the Left are the loathsome climate activists who block roads, throw soup on artworks, interrupt events, and otherwise p*ss off just about everyone. These people really put the “mental” into environmental activism as they glue their hands to the pavement or slow-march in front of commuters, staring into space with their dead eyes and an inhuman detachment from the anger and antipathy they inspire.

Happy Monday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. (Snip) Freedom-loving Americans have had a rough go of it since the first arrival of the Wuhan Chinese Bat Flu on our shores. The Trump/Fauci alliance made things bad enough, but the tyrannical flex got really bad when Joe Biden was installed in the presidency. As we have seen in recent weeks, the COVID fetish Left is attempting to relive its glory days of oppression.
With the stink of the pandemic government heavies still lingering so strongly, the Climate Cult thugs have been hoping to keep their campaign of error and terror continuing unabated without anyone noticing.

No Tricks Zone publishes a summary of an article by Dr. Klaus-Dieter Döhler, a natural scientist and environmentalist, and Josef Kowatsch, a nature conservationist, that criticizes the global warming industry in Germany. Their criticisms apply equally to that industry in the U.S.
The authors point out that reality has refuted the tricked-up models that are the only basis for global warming hysteria: They write:
The business model “global warming” is mainly corrupt and is run by paid scientists and organizations and is headed by a super rich group of billionaires. Their aim is not to protect the climate, but to generate funds for themselves and their dubious machinations.

As controversy swirls in the United States surrounding the origins of the devastating Maui fires, Greece has its own serious wildfire problem, and 79 arsonists have been arrested in connection with it.
Civil Protection Minister Vassilis Kikilias angrily slammed arsonists in a televised briefing this week, saying, “You are committing a crime against the country.” BBC reported Aug. 25 that arsonists have several times tried to start fires on Mount Parnitha near Athens. “Arsonist scum are setting fires that threaten forests, property, and, most of all, human lives,”

When it comes to guns, the Second Amendment, gun control, and all that it entails, the most common denominator is the Nationa Rifle Association of America. The NRA was established on November 17, 1871, with the mission of advancing rifle marksmanship, firearm safety, and competency. They claim to be the oldest civil rights organization in America, older even than the ACLU.
I, for one, am a Life Member of the NRA because they do perform and support great services like marksmanship training and standards, amongst many others. I also have certifications as a Range Safety Officer, as well as a rifle, pistol, and shotgun instructor.

Florida lawyer Lawrence Caplan filed a challenge in federal court earlier this week, arguing that former President Donald Trump cannot run for president because of the 14th Amendment.
Caplan pointed to a clause in the amendment that says those who “have engaged in insurrection or rebellion” against the government cannot hold office.
“The bottom line here is that President Trump both engaged in an insurrection and also gave aid and comfort to other individuals who were engaging in such actions, within the clear meaning of those terms as defined in Section Three of the 14th Amendment,” Caplan wrote in the filing,
Comments:
More lawfare. And PDJT isn't an insurrectionist. The people who fixed and stole the 2020 election were the insurrectionists, and should be vigorously prosecuted after the charges against Trump fail.
