One group of buffoons who have come to be roundly reviled by both the Right and the Left are the loathsome climate activists who block roads, throw soup on artworks, interrupt events, and otherwise p*ss off just about everyone. These people really put the “mental” into environmental activism as they glue their hands to the pavement or slow-march in front of commuters, staring into space with their dead eyes and an inhuman detachment from the anger and antipathy they inspire.
In today’s episode, smelly hippies from a group called Seven Circles set up a barrier

My favorite part was the knee in the back and handcuffing the oh so important protestors.

Me too #1. Of course I was also saying "Oh just run 'em over!!" when he stopped. Blocking roads is illegal and dangerous.
Someone once told me that in much of Asia if you stand in the road or just walk out into the street unthinking, you will be hit. No one will blame the driver because everyone knows cars are bigger than people and people need to watch out for cars.. not the other way around. Common sense stuff.
When we lived in Nashville, the number of bachelorette party members (Nashville is the bachelorette party capital of the world btw) that simply walked out into rush hour downtown traffic and expected I guess their sparkly cowboy boots, Daisy Dukes, and bedecked and bedazzled cowgirl hats to protect them was limitless.
Through social programs and touchy feely bleeding heart nonsense, we have sadly prevented stupidity from winnowing out the herd. Is it any surprise the herd has gotten progressively stupider? And then we let these stupid people vote!

Important to understand that they were blocking access to Burning Man, the annual frolic in the desert attended by thousands of ex-hippies, freaks, weirdos, and various lost souls not far removed from the protesters themselves. Would law enforcement have done the same for folks impeded from attending a Trump rally?

My solution.... especially if they glue themselves to the road... Is to send a farmer through there with his tractor and manure spreader, spreading a fresh load of hog dung. It's non-violent.... and better yet- it's environmentally safe!

Another article I read stated the Rangers are part of the Paiute tribe which owns the land around there. It looks like the protesters will be subject to Native American justice. This could get really interesting (giggle….).

I thought Nevada was a leftist haven run by Democrats that love stuff like this. Did this happen on a Native American Reservation? If so, this leftist terrorist are about to find out what law and order truly is.

This was northern Nevada.....much different....not nearly as tainted.

I would have made them sit near the road handcuffed in the heat while the vehicles drove by.
Will any of them be able to set up a GoFundMe page? (because some people are more equal than others)

Thanks for that info #9. My first thought was the Rangers would be sued ala so many Antifa successful lawsuits. Perhaps they have a better aligned sense of 'due process' on the rez.

One of the more annoying things we see in these protest videos is those smelly animals holding up their little rectangle like it is some kind of super power shield. Usually it is stuck in the face of someone they just antagonized. I would love to see those things forcibly removed and smashed into pieces.

Not just Rangers...Tribal Police,
the "protestors" were french, Italian, arab....and a couple of pudgy/pasty white amer-wiccan women. Note that even early on in the video the people most vehement that they should cease/desist and get out of the way were all Native Americans...
"This is a Democracy!!!!"...yeah and MORE people than you five want the road open, and YOU are getting in the way of their Democratic/collective wishes/needs.

The rangers ignored the cries of "non violent" and "we are protesters", and eliminated the problem. Be great if the big city police departments could do the same.

One of my favorite videos from 2020 was when Antifa goons, dressed in their usual black togs, went walking down a dark interstate highway and several vehicles sent bodies flying everywhere. Just a demonstration of how smart these types of people actually are.

notice the women with the hat and chained to the trailer being used as a barricade. How her tune changed when authority showed up! made my day. And the big clown that keeps saying they are allowed to protest because this is a democracy He's a big guy with a small brain. WE are NOT a democracy! I would love to ask those nut jobs what would be better then capitalism? I could never understand a person who has to chance to be what ever they want to be and they want to get rid of one of the things that would help them achieve their goal. Too bad these climate people don't know that oil is a renewable resource Earth makes oil everyday. My kind of cops! They did what was the right thing to do

Will biden give valor awards to these rangers?
So will these people need to be provided food while incarcerated? My suggestion: PB&J - put together in a little paper condiment container, 2 slices of white bread. plastic spoon (handle of the spoon can be used to spread the PB&J)

Going to an Indian Reservation jail, hiring an Indian lawyer and getting a trial date with a Rez judge? The attorney they hire, "Your honor, my client pleads not guilty of destroying livelihoods, wasting time and burning gasoline and diesel fuel by the thousands of gallons contributing to climate change."

I watched the long video twice, then sent it to TK and watched it with him. I heard him play it again from my office! Its just one of those videos that gives such pleasure! TK pointed out that there were enough civilian men there at the beginning to have moved the trailer off to the side, if they had been more organized. Perhaps this video will give regular people the courage to confront these lunatics directly instead of waiting for the authorities. It is one thing to be a protestor against "The Man", making a scene to "raise awareness among the people"; but if "the people" become "aware" that you are the problem and not "The Man" then things are not going to go as planned. If these "environmental activists" want to raise awareness, they may not be raising the "awareness" they expect. Just sayin'.
My favorite is the whiny gal on the left side of the road in the hat, "We're non-violent! We have no weapons! We're environmental activists!" As if that is some elevated station in life that provides immunity from all law breaking. Besides, her acting was really bad.

I 100% applaud the tribal police but I was also heartened to see that some modern-day American men tried to take matters into their own hands and move the blockade prior to police showing up. I'm amazed they were able to keep their cool and not get into a full-out fist fight with these idiots. Next time, it is not going to end so well, these enviro-whackos are going to get someone killed, most likely one of their own.

Cities, municipalities, counties and states typically cannot prevent protestors from protesting in an outdoors, public place. However, they can require that protestors:
1. Apply for a permit to conduct their protest;
2. Hold their protest in a public--not a private--site.
3. The protest must not be a roadway or thoroughfare, but in a place like a park or large plaza in front of a publicly-owned building. On some occasions, protesting or marching on a public thoroughfare is permitted for large groups, but they typically do so only on Saturdays or Sundays, with plenty of cops to work traffic.
4. The protest must be limited to a specific place, time, and duration of time. It is not open-ended.
5. A fee must be paid to allow for police supervision and protection of protestors and observers.
6. Etc.
This is what annoyed me so much about all the stupid antifa-type protests two summers ago. They blocked roadways and destroyed nearby public and private property, yet the city judges or prosecutors let them off, dismissing their criminal cases. The cities, judges, prosecutors, and mayors did not enforce their own laws, to the detriment of their jurisdictions and residents.

Those “activists” are so stupid that they haven’t a clue that without capitalism they wouldn’t even have the paint to make their inane posters.
And how did they get way out there in the desert in the first place? Did an EV tow their trailer? Fat chance.
