When it comes to guns, the Second Amendment, gun control, and all that it entails, the most common denominator is the Nationa Rifle Association of America. The NRA was established on November 17, 1871, with the mission of advancing rifle marksmanship, firearm safety, and competency. They claim to be the oldest civil rights organization in America, older even than the ACLU. I, for one, am a Life Member of the NRA because they do perform and support great services like marksmanship training and standards, amongst many others. I also have certifications as a Range Safety Officer, as well as a rifle, pistol, and shotgun instructor.

Florida lawyer Lawrence Caplan filed a challenge in federal court earlier this week, arguing that former President Donald Trump cannot run for president because of the 14th Amendment.
Caplan pointed to a clause in the amendment that says those who “have engaged in insurrection or rebellion” against the government cannot hold office.

Despite declaring earlier this year that COVID is no longer a threat, President Joe Biden said his administration will "likely" recommend that all Americans receive the updated booster, including children.

U.S. President Joe Biden said Friday he plans to request more money from Congress to develop a fresh coronavirus vaccine, adding he may require everyone to take it whether they have been previously vaccinated or not.

There are still no answers from the FBI on why they found it necessary to raid the home of a disabled US veteran and shoot him dead on the morning of August 16th.
Theodore Deschler was shot and killed when FBI agents raided his home near Henderson, Tennessee.
Now Deschler’s family are looking for answers. There is still no news from the government on why they had to break out the windows, toss smoke bombs into the home, and then shoot Deschler who was unarmed at the time.
