You had to know this guy's days were numbered after attempting a coup against Putin, and backing down.

Putin WILL have his revenge. Not surprising. This isn't going to help Putin find competent people. Anyone that has a brain will work very hard to get far away from Putin.

Is this another one of those plane crashes where the body of the official has a bullet hole in his head, ALA Ron Brown??

It was just a matter of time before Prigozhin met with a fatal accident, as it’s the Russian way!

If Prigozhan is smart, he'd list himself on one aircraft, fly on a different one. But, HEY, Putin is his FRIEND!
He'd never to anything bad, right?

Re #18. Totally believable. Suspect Prigozhin might be smart enough to do exactly that.
Now watch a video of Prigozhin appear somewhere location unknown. He'll end up living rent free in Putin's head.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence that Kuzhenkino, the site of the accident, is less than thirty miles from Lake Valdai, where Putin has a fortified mansion in the forest.

The Journal now reports that a second aircraft said to be owned by Prigozhin was airborne in the same area, traveling toward St Petersburg, and turned back to Moscow around the same time of the downing. The destroyed aircraft had cabin damage consistent with an antiaircraft missile burst. The Journal says he is definitely dead.

I saw a headline yesterday saying that Prigozhin was somewhere in Africa messing around with some other small war.
I doubt that anyone is telling the whole truth.

Hmmm… Putin is known for poisoning his enemies. Seems understandable he would want to kill Prigozhin, but taking out 9 other people, I clueing three crew members is a bit of an escalation for him.

I’ll have to know they’ve got his body. He’s not a stupid man. I hope it’s a ruse and Prigozhin’s going to target Putin once his guard’s down. THAT would be a story. Fingers crossed.

Second aircraft....yep, that's what a smart guy who imagined that Putii would be all in a snit would do.
And perhaps, Prigozhan will just take early retirement in Tahiti under a new name and never be heard of again.

When you want to snuff someone so badly that a plane full of collateral victims is no big deal.

I'm so old...I can remember a Larry Storch sketch where he is a Russian news anchor. "I have just been handed a bulletin. Tragically, the Soviet Premier has been killed in a traffic accident in Moscow. Wait what? I'm sorry, Comrades. That's tomorrow's bulletin."
And who else remembers te ads for "Fujiama Beer?"
