Criminalizing Politics In The Trump Indictments

Original Article

I’ve made the point repeatedly that both the D.C. and Georgia indictments of Donald Trump start from a premise that isn’t true--that an attempt to “overturn” an election in and of itself is criminal. The means by which an election is overturned may be criminal, but the end goal is not. With regard to the D.C. indictment, I questioned Where is the crime?(Snip)The core of the alleged crime is disruption of the electoral count, but that took place because of the riot, and Trump has not been indicted (yet) for inciting the riot.

Trump did nothing illegal, and nothing that the Dems haven't done repeatedly.

The main reason for this constant harassment of President Trump is to disrupt his 2024 campaign, which in itself is election interference. Fat Fani, David Weiss and Jack Smith should be arrested.

A nice, professorial discussion, but overlooks one fact: the election was stolen. The analysis is based on an old legal principle: if a woman was raped, it was her fault because she "asked for it".

So much for legal pedantry. Election interference, prosecutorial misconduct, weaponization of the judicial system, lawfare, etc. These alleged legal minds sit back and watch while chaos continues to ensue.

Biden quietly sells off border wall parts

The Biden administration is quietly auctioning off millions of dollars’ worth of unused parts from former President Trump’s border wall for peanuts--in an apparent end-run around pending legislation in Congress. Since April, GovPlanet, an online auction house specializing in military surplus, has sold 81 lots of steel “square structural tubes”--intended for use as vertical bollards in the border barrier’s 30-foot-tall panels--hauling in about $2 million.(Snip)Up to $300 million worth of taxpayer-funded wall components have been left to rust since Biden came to office, Republicans have said.(Snip)But GovPlanet is under strict instructions to keep the border-wall connection hush-hush.

A requirement that voters present a valid photo ID when they show up at the polls is unfortunately working exactly as the Republicans who passed it last year intended. The Lorain County Board of Elections on Wednesday discarded the provisional ballots of 160 voters because 39 didn’t have a photo ID and 121 had expired IDs when they showed up to vote in the special election Aug. 8. “That makes me very uncomfortable,” Democratic board member Anthony Giardini said. “These people weren’t cheating.” (Snip) The board’s other Democratic member, Inez James, called it “voter suppression.”

Georgia State Sen. Colton Moore (R) wants Gov. Brian Kemp to declare an emergency session to investigate Fulton County DA Fani Willis. Willis is the one who brought charges against President Donald Trump, including a RICO charge. A grand jury indicted him this week. (Snip) As a Georgia State Senator, I am officially calling for an emergency session to review the actions of Fani Willis. America is under attack. I’m not going to sit back and watch as radical left prosecutors politically TARGET political opponents.

One of the things that’s important for sane people to keep in mind is that the war on climate change is a war on food.(Snip)It’s also obvious when the sinister World Economic Forum keeps insisting that we learn to enjoy bugs (while they enjoy filet mignon, of course). There are other ways to attack food, though.(Snip)Right now, the government is painting the project as one to clean out pollution. But once a government gets its hands on a powerful technology, the sky’s the limit on what it can do to control the population, whether to render it helpless or erase it from the earth.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Two years ago, a Cleveland area physician strode into the House Health Committee room and told state lawmakers that COVID-19 vaccines magnetize their hosts and “interface” with cell towers. Her comments, the subject of widespread ridicule, triggered a swarm of 350 complaints to the State Medical Board and a chain of events that led to the regulators indefinitely suspending the medical license Wednesday of anti-vaccine activist Sherri Tenpenny. The board, charged with protecting the public and overseeing the licensure of Ohio’s doctors, yanked Tenpenny’s license on procedural grounds rather than the substance of her comments,

Walgreens stores in Chicago decided to play classical music to stop people from loitering. I wonder if the music will then stop people from robbing stores. From the Sun-Times: The Sun-Times this week found classical music greeting customers as they approached the entrance of stores in Greektown, the West Side and River North at 641 N. Clark St. It plays from speakers connected to the building that are covered by a protective screen. Customer reaction and the results appeared mixed. As previously posted, the DOJ sought an extremely broad ‘protective order’ covering all materials turned over to Trump’s defense in the case. Trump objected that such a request was overly broad, that Trump had no objection so ‘sensitive’ information being subjected to a protective order, but that it would violate his first amendment rights (particularly in the middle of a campaign) [Snip] A hearing took place in federal court this morning, and according to reports, the Judge sided with Trump on the scope of the protective order, but reminded him that the terms of his release prohibit him from intimidating witnesses.

A new report from Military.com has revealed that Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma is refusing to reveal the cause of death for 17 base personnel who have passed away this year. How does one base have a death toll of 17 in the span of eight months? Why would the base not want to share information concerning what happened to these individuals and why so many people at one military installation have died? Since the base is funded with American tax dollars and the people dying are public servants, I think the general public has a right to know what is going on at Tinker Air Force Base, don’t you?
