The Obama family’s “beloved” personal chef, Tafari Campbell, died of accidental drowning while paddleboarding in a Martha’s Vineyard lake, an autopsy confirmed Tuesday. Campbell’s cause of death has officially been ruled to be “submersion in a body of water” — and his manner of death has been determined to be an accident, according to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner of Massachusetts. The results of Campbell’s autopsy have not been made public as per state policy, Timothy McGuirk, a spokesman for the Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, told the Washington Post.

Comments:

It's so sad that this nce man drowned in eleven inches of water - - especially since there were no signs of trauma - - aside from the bullet hole in the back of his skull. RIP Tafan.

Drowning would have been far less horrible and terrifying for Mary Jo. I read that she suffocated when the air bubble in the car lost its ability to oxygenate her blood. If true, there was a good chance she would have survived if rescue had been mounted immediately. But the Lyin of the Senate didn't need a live witness.

#1 is incorrect; #10 is correct. Mary Jo Kopechne asphyxiated in an air pocket in Teddy Kennedy's upside down 1967 Oldsmobile Delmont 88 in Poucha Pond. At the autopsy water didn't come out of her lungs. Bubbles did. No one knows how long she survived, but it might have been for as much as two hours, during which time she could easily have been rescued. Teddy had his driver's license suspended. Anyone else would have faced manslaughter charges. But driving off that bridge likely kept Teddy out of the White House. A small favor at a terrible cost.

Death by frogman, the late Carroll Rosenbloom's death pioneered this method for getting rid of people. His valuable franchise, the L.A. Rams, went to his third or fourth wife not his children. So, dying in water not much deeper than a bird bath might be a new trend. Hiding the frogman's bubbles would be easy via a rebreather and a small under water electric submarine scooter.

A maniac attacked three people with a glass bottle in a violent and unprovoked rampage that began at a Manhattan Whole Foods Market on Thursday evening, according to police. The string of attacks started outside the Whole Foods on Sixth Avenue across from Bryant Park when the 33-year-old suspect bashed a 23-year-old man with a bottle around 6:40 p.m., police said. The assailant then went inside the store to the second floor, where he attacked a 49-year-old woman, the NYPD said. He then fled outside and into the subway station at 47th Street and 6th Avenue, where he struck a 55-year-old woman on a train.

WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel on Sunday advised 2024 candidates to focus on Independent voters after the GOP failed to deliver a once-expected “red wave” in the 2022 midterm elections. “I look at 2022 as the ‘Year of Independents,'” McDaniel told Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures. “In every single battleground state except Pennsylvania, a Republican won statewide – so we had more ticket splitting than we’ve ever seen.” “So [in 2024], it really is going to be how do our candidates appeal to Independent voters?”

With 56% of registered Republicans in his corner, Trump’s support barely budged from the 59% mark the same poll found in June — despite the three different indictments filed against him in the same time frame.
