Most close watchers already knew the motive and intention of the J6 committee was to build narratives useful against their political opposition and the 2022 midterm election cycle. Factually, the makeup of the J6 committee was specifically structured for this intention.
That said, this remarkable statement by former J6 Committee Chairman Bennie Thompson is essentially admitting the committee destroyed evidence that undermined their preconceived notions.
(snip)
…”Consistent with guidance from the Office of the Clerk and other authorities, the Select Committee did not archive temporary committee records that were not elevated by the Committee’s actions, such as use in hearings or official publications, or those that did not

And they will get away with this obstruction because of the two tiered corrupt justice system in DC. MSM will not report it -- they are vanguards of everything DNC.

The Jan. 6th committee wasn't about Capitol Hill Security. It wasn't about the blunders of the Capitol Hill Police force remember Ashli Babbit? It was about "getting" Trump, and making an example of what happens if you don't toe the line. They staged and scripted activities, all to make Trump look bad . . . that is simply what this is all about. The same is what all of the indictments are about, too. By the way, who is Ray Epps? IMHO, of course!

Sounds like a coverup.
What are they hiding?
But, will the GOP use this against Democrats in the 2024 election cycle?

Nutty, Nasty Nancy's Kangaroo Kommittee was NEVER about anything except pretending that there was an insurrection where there was nothing even remotely like it. It's a huge stretch to call it a riot. It was number of people walking into the Capitol while the Capitol Police held the doors open for them. The 90% ordinary people were shot through with antifa thugs, probably paid by Nutty, Nasty Nancy to break a few windows...and four windows were broken. No other damage.
And the Capitol "police" murdered two women....shot one to death as detailed by #1 here, and beat another to death. NO police were actually injured, even though Nutty, Nasty Nancy's Kangaroo Kommittee falsely claimed that several officers were "seriously injured" and one was "murdered". The "murdered" officer died of a stroke the following day, having nothing whatsoever to do with the events of Jan. 6. The 'seriously injured'....MAY have had a bruise, but may have been entirely faking it, too.

We were a Nation of LAWS. We became a Nation of MEN. We are now a Nation of ANARCHY. Pray for Divine Intervention, for I'm afraid that is our only hope.

Speaking of Lt. Michael Leroy Byrd, I wonder what this murderous, poorly-trained Capitol cop is doing?
I would like to think that the GOP leadership would have relieved him of duties or placed him in a position where (1) he has no authority, (2) no access to firearms on the job, and (3) no interaction with the general public.
Otherwise, I'm sure Nancy Pelosi would insist he be added to her security detail. Sarcasm key now OFF.

You give a little credit to smart crooks, just for the smart part. With the democrats, you can’t even do that. What dishonest idiots!

Shortly after the committee was formed, I quit following any news about it. The reason I stopped was after reading an editorial from a trusted source (forgot which one). The editorial began with something like: "... rather than giving an overview of the committee's objectives, it sounded more like a prosecutor's closing argument ..."

Why do you think Nazi Nancy only allowed turncoat Republicans on the kommiittee??? So they could hide and destroy evidence that didn't fit the "narritive"

They are not "security failures" when people were invited inside and escorted by Capitol Police. It was planned entrapment for which people were illegally jailed. The investigation should have been conducted in 2020 and all J6 protesters should have been released. The FBI participated in this crime by inciting violence. The current government is illegitimate and corrupt. Who is Ray Epps?

Mary McCord appears to be a central figure in most of the left wing corruption and coverups. She is quite the war time Consigliere.

The jan6 commission was conducted in the house...and all meetings in the house are recorded....so even if the committee decided to destroy the transcripts...there is an official record on the house ledger...everything discussed on the house floor is recorded....

More proof that the security failures were built in features of the security plan for that day.

Of course they didn't investigate security failures. That would have meant putting Turtle and Pelosi in front of their committee to answer some rather uncomfortable questions. They were after innocent people and DJT instead.
