WASHINGTON D.C. — Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene issued the following statement following today's appointment of Davis Weiss as Special Counsel to cover up Hunter Biden's criminal career: "Today’s move by Merrick Garland to appoint David Weiss as Special Counsel to investigate (and in reality cover up) Hunter Biden’s criminal career is the latest action in a continuous pattern of corrupt behavior by Joe Biden and his regime. I hope MTG is right, that the special counsel appointment is illegal, as such counsel must be appointed from someone outside government.

"every record request, every transcribed interview, or any other effort in an impeachment inquiry will be be blocked by this corrupt and unlawful Special Counsel under the guise of an “investigation.” This is exactly right and is the standard operating procedure for this corrupt FBI and DOJ. It is how they protect democrats. It is the reason for corrupt Garland appointing a special prosecutor in the Hunter Biden case.

I agree with every word she wrote 100%. The Republicans better get off their butts, the Senate Republicans specifically, as the House is actually trying to do something, they better stand up to this tactic or they may as well shut the door and go home. This is now the STOP for Dems, totally against all the Constitution has stood for, for centuries, and starting with the Clintons, then Obama, and now Biden, they have all spit in the face of our liberties and rights, in order to keep power and enrich themselves. Dirty tricks is their creed and the people of this country will continue to pay the price. The entire "justice" system needs to be gutted, along with this admninistration, from Biden on down. MAGA

The House Republicans should tell Garland to pound sand and then keep their investigation going full speed ahead.

Many casual political observers have been wondering about why the Georgia republican apparatus, including Brian Kemp, doesn’t just get involved and shut down the nonsense coming from Fulton County and political prosecutor Fani Willis. It’s an understandable reference point and curiosity, but if you understand Georgia republican politics you understand why the political leadership actually support Fani Willis.Republican and Democrat politics is a club structure. Factually, voters are irrelevant in the system the two private corporations have constructed.

The Fulton County clerk of courts is putting out the third public statement trying to explain and justify why they posted the grand jury indictment of Donald Trump before the grand jury had even met to vote on the indictment. This latest explanation is so incredulous it’s almost impossible to believe they are making this public:(image)According to the story above, the original indictment before the jury met, was a trial run upload, made of a totally fictious construct, with totally random charges, that just happened to line up with the exact same charges, in the exact same sequence, as the indictment after the jury voted.

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) has surpassed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) in the critical early presidential primary state of New Hampshire, according to an Emerson College survey released Tuesday. Christie leapfrogged DeSantis for second place in the Granite State, garnering 9 percent support. DeSantis’s support, on the other hand, fell to 8 percent from 17 percent in March. Christie’s 1-point lead over DeSantis falls within the poll’s plus-or-minus 3.4 percent margin of error.

Friday’s news dump featured an announcement by Attorney General Merrick Garland that he had named Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss as special counsel to continue the investigation into Hunter Biden “as well as any matters that arose from that investigation or may arise from the Special Counsel’s investigation.” While the official appointment order barely filled a page and the attorney general’s accompanying comments provided little additional texture, the news is hugely significant. Here’s how. 1. Why Now?

Two new polls of Republican primary voters released on Thursday showed former President Donald Trump in first place by a wide margin. But what was startling was who came in second. The first shows Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in his usual spot far behind Trump. The other shows 38-year-old first-time political candidate Vivek Ramaswamy edging out DeSantis for second place.(snip)Ramaswamy’s strength comes almost entirely from polls conducted over the internet, according to a POLITICO analysis. Things are a little weird in Iowa as one of the candidates thought it would be a great idea to start rapping on stage, and then things get really uncomfortable. There are moments in every eco-chambering campaign where the responsible voice in the room says, “no – just no” and protects the candidate from the big stupid. I’m not exactly sure what the goal and objective is here, but (a) Ramalamadingdong did not have that voice in the room; and (b) apparently no longer wants to be considered as a viable candidate. Nothing else quite explains this level of cringe. WATCH:

In a Friday news dump, Attorney General Merrick Garland announced he’s appointed U.S. attorney for the District of Delaware, David Weiss, as special counsel in the probe of Hunter Biden. “I have concluded,” Garland claimed, “that it is in the public interest to appoint him as special counsel.” Which makes zero sense. Wasn’t Weiss already responsible for the “ongoing investigation” of President Joe Biden’s son “as well as for any other matters that arose or may arise from that investigation?” For years now, Garland claimed that Weiss had ultimate authority to investigate charges against Hunter or any other criminality related to the Biden family business. Yet he didn’t do anything.

WASHINGTON—District Judge Tanya Chutkan opposed the request by prosecutors to bar former President Donald Trump from revealing non-sensitive evidence provided to him by the prosecutors ahead of the trial on whether he conspired to illegally obstruct the counting of the 2020 electoral votes. During an Aug. 11 hearing in Washington, she decided to issue a gag order that only forbids the release of information prosecutors label as sensitive. The prosecutors, with the office of special counsel Jack Smith, requested a blanket gag order, citing concerns over safety and intimidation of witnesses. The judge questioned the defense over the potential use of non-sensitive information to intimidate witnesses.

This interview segment is almost as if Devin Nunes reads here. The former House Intel Committee chairman outlines the appointment of David Weiss as another DC silo creation similar in construct to John Durham. {Direct Rumble Link} Obviously, Nunes is correct. Additionally, as Nunes accurately outlines the entire weaponization process traces back to when Barack Obama took office and unleashed the apparatus of the intelligence agencies to target domestic political opposition. At the same time, Obama’s AG Eric Holder created the DOJ National Security Division and then weaponized surveillance under the auspices of FARA and FISA Courts to target one side of the political dynamic. It’s been a week since wildfires on Maui ravaged the island and sent residents streaming into the ocean to avoid the flames. So far, Joe Biden has “no comment” about the casualties and, presumably, he has nothing to say about the massive relief efforts that are surely underway. But are they underway? According to the Wall Street Journal, “State and federal aid is trickling into the region in the wake of the deadliest U.S. wildfire event in over 100 years.” So after a full week, aid is just “trickling in” from FEMA to deal with the destruction of most of the Western part of Maui?

Former President Donald Trump has until midday next Friday to surrender to authorities in Fulton County, Georgia, after he and 18 associates were indicted for their roles in trying to reverse the outcome of the 2020 election. His arrest and processing will almost certainly make allowances for his status as a former commander-in-chief. However, the local sheriff has already suggested that Trump will have to pose for a mugshot. 'Unless somebody tells me differently, we are following our normal practices, and so it doesn't matter your status, we'll have a mugshot ready for you,' Fulton County Sheriff Pat Labat told WSB-TV.

In Maui, a disaster of epic proportions is unfolding, one week after wildfires razed its historic city of Lahaina. It's not just that there was little warning and a chaotic evacuation. Now it's the body count -- 99 people are confirmed dead now, and some 1,000 remain missing. If they're dead, and Lahaina has only 12,000 people, the math isn't pretty -- ten percent of the population may be dead, which has a whiff of Ukraine. The cadaver dogs, with rarified training to detect bodies incinerated to ash in flames, are far too few for a mass casualty event like this, so they still have 75%
