Ever Recovering From Dylan Mulvaney Debacle

It’s been nearly four months since Dylan Mulvaney revealed his partnership with Bud Light, and consumers have yet to forgive the brand. Sales are down and the company has lost billions in market value, laid off workers, and frozen hirings. Time has yet to heal the wounds inflicted by the ill-advised marketing gimmick. Things have gotten so bad that many Anheuser-Busch distributors have basically given up on getting their lost customers back, according to a report from the New York Post. “Consumers have made a choice,” an executive at a Texas-based beer distributor told the outlet. “They have left [Bud Light] and that’s how it’s going to be.

Mulvaney is just part of that problem. The fact that Bud had no idea who their customers are and what kind of commercial to aim at them is the bigger problem. They deserve the loss. Maybe next time they'll pay more attention to their customer base.

Great news. And those who are boycotting need to be certain that their "alternate brand" beer isn't just another beer from InBev, putting their money into the same pockets.

If that's what it takes, #2. Bud Lite and Disney now have a lot in common, they placed their bets with two percent of the population and insulted the other 98%. The result is billions in lost revenue. All it would take is an apology for most people to give them a second chance.

My opinion; the former success of Bud Light was probably stemming from Regular Budweiser drinkers wanting to loose some weight. Now that they are NOT drinking Bud Light they have had their taste buds attuned to what a REAL beer should taste like!! Bud Light to me, was a one and only a long time ago. To me it is like drinking Panther P**s!!!

Hubs was a Bud Light drinker from the day I met him and I’m guessing for a long time before that. I don’t mean to make him sound like a heavy drinker because he’s not at all. But when a beer drinking event took place Bud Light was there. Calories had nothing to do with it. I actually think he liked it!! I may need to rethink some things lol. If I’m drinking beer it’s Guinness.

The formula for selling beer has been known and used for decades. People doing fun active things like skydiving, surfing or having a party with lots of beautiful smiling people flirting with the opposite sex. Even better if there are bikinis involved and no tattoos. The further they get from that, the worse it gets. That sicko freak is about as far from that as it gets. Whoever signed off on it should sue the college they went to for malpractice.

Gone are any InBev drinks in my house. I had switched to Michelob Ultra Amber 20 years ago because of the calories and it didn't taste terrible. Then just before COVID they seemingly dropped the Amber variety and reformulated Ultra (now with agave!) to appeal to the younger crowd so I switched to Bud Light since it was served seemingly everywhere. Now, Yuengling is the current favorite, and occasionally I'll grab some Fat Tire (the brewery seems to be woke based on its packaging, but they haven't insulted me yet), or a Red Oak product. When we eat out, I usually go for Miller Lite or, barring that, whatever craft beer is available. Luckily, the Red Oak brewery is nearby, so their Hummingbird brew is often available... greyseal

Remember, it was a leftist woman who decided to create this advertising campaign for Bud Light. A leftist woman who probably doesn't drink beer. Wouldn't be caught dead with a beer, and who didn't give a squat about the Bud Light drinkers or beer drinkers in general. Beer drinkers are the type of people she wanted to insult. Beer drinkers generally vote Republican and hate Biteme. Beer drinkers in her mind are of low intelligence and having a pervert represent a beer would be a way of insulting them. It was the people above her that approved of this advertising campaign instead of firing her on the spot.

I hadn't thought of this before. Alissa Heinerscheid, "...if we do not attract young drinkers to come and drink this brand, there will be no future for Bud Light.” So she decided to join "forces with a mentally ill man who wears dresses and acts like a ten-year-old girl." So what groups of people was Dylan Mulvaney supposed to bring to Bud Light's table? Besides the obvious alphabet people, was part of her audience under-drinking age girls and pedophiles who prey upon them? Nothing like being inclusive.

The suits at AB-Inbev managed to kill that brand dead dead dead. I miss the bullfrogs that said, "Bud," "weis" and "er." But the company hated the image. Spuds McKenzie turned out in real life to be a bi--a female dog. Later today I intend to be "fratty" when I go to the supermarket and buy a 12-pack of ... Dos Equis. I do not always drink beer, but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis.

Bud Light's biggest long-term problem is that no one drank Bud Light because they liked it better than other beers. They drank it because "everyone else" did. Now that it is no longer the beer that "everyone drinks", almost no one is going to buy it.

I really don’t like the President of the United States. Joe Biden has spent his life working tirelessly toward one thing more than anything else: to convince people he is a good man. He is not and never has been, as evidenced by how it took four years and political pressure from New York Times columnists to acknowledge the existence of one of his grandchildren. Now that people are beginning to notice and ask questions about things like how he got so rich, Joe has defaulted to the only defense left for him: He’s not corrupt, he’s just a horrible parent and brother.

U.S. District Court Judge Maryellen Noreika, who is handling Hunter Biden’s currently defunct plea deal, doesn’t seem too pleased. And why would she be? On Wednesday, she was presented with an absolute circus after the DOJ tried to pass off an unprecedented agreement whereby Hunter Biden would receive near global immunity. Instead of putting that in the plea deal itself, it was buried in a pre-trial diversion agreement for a gun charge. After pressing the two sides, it became clear that a wink-and-nod deal had been formulated whereby the immunity would stand, but wouldn’t be made public as part of the plea.

It appears the battle over Florida’s black history curriculum has entered into a new phase. A fiery debate was ignited over parts of the state’s educational standards on chattel slavery. Now, the discussion has continued to rage on the airwaves and interwebs. The debate centers on a line in Florida’s standards which reads: “Instruction includes how slaves developed skills which, in some cases, could be applied for their personal benefit.” Democrats in Congress are now taking a questionable step in response to Florida’s curriculum. The Congressional Black Caucus is now calling on the Biden administration to use federal power to possibly compel the state’s government to alter its standards:

Current polls, pundits, and politicos insist that the 2024 race is a sure rematch between former President Donald Trump and incumbent President Joe Biden. It may well turn out that way. But in past election cycles, summer polls 15 months before the general election usually did not mean much. In December 2003, the CBS poll headline blared, "Dean pulls away in Dem race." Howard Dean would eventually be clobbered by nominee John Kerry. In the Gallup Poll of late June 2007, Hillary Clinton still continued to enjoy her wide lead in the Democratic primary over eventual nominee and elected president Barack Obama.

Trump strongly lobbied Pence to accept challenges to state election results and give those states time to review their elections when he presided over the joint session of Congress on January 6, 2021.
