Gas prices have quietly been on the rise over the summer as President Joe Biden and his administration have touted the merits of his “Bidenomics” agenda. U.S. oil prices jumped by nearly 4% last week, and the per-gallon price at the pump hit a national average of $3.75 Monday, the highest recorded average since November 2022, according to AAA and the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Continued increases may pose a new headache for Biden, who is promoting the “Bidenomics” agenda ahead of his 2024 run for reelection. Global oil prices are up 16% since late June, and they have increased

Joe will claim it’s “ Trump’s fault because Trump
did something or another back when Joe stood up against Corn-pop or was it when Trump was mumble mumble mumble. Don’t Jump”!

All I know is that here in Texas, I filled up for $2.99 a gallon a couple of weeks ago. Today, the cheapest (at members-only Sam's Club) was $3.39 a gallon!!!! It was pretty much $3.49 or higher everywhere else.
However, that simply means that Bidenomics is "working" exactly as it was designed. Its whole purpose is to absolutely bankrupt this nation into becoming a 3rd world cesspool!!! So, in that respect, it's "working" perfectly!!!

And we can count on the legacy media keeping very quiet about the rising prices. Or IFF they say anything about it, to immediately dismiss it as somehow not indicative, or disclaim it with abundant hand-waving nonsense.

Hey BiteMe,
Here´s a thought:
Have petroleum distillers make only premium gasoline, restrict what we can buy. (gets more tax revenue for Govt.)

This is actually one area where the enemedia is least effective. That is, they can be as silent as they want but people WILL notice. However, never underestimate the sheeple believing any cockamamie crap they're told by the traitorous msm, like this is all President Trump's fault for some ludicrous reason or another.

Quietly creeping, my azz. They increase 20¢ / gallon overnight for no reason other than greed.

We're fast approaching NoBama prices for gasoline-- anyone still remember $1.60 gallon gas?
Quickly heading to over $4.00 a gallon, now THAT's progress!!!

What do you expect when the world's biggest oil producer (USA) isn't producing all thanks to Biden. I read that drilling rigs are down from about 620 to 520 so far this year, that can't be good.

Pity my car won't run on Bud Light...gas is over twice as expensive.
Yet bottled water is more expensive than Gas. Straight from municipal water systems into tiny plastic throwaway bottles.

FTA: The White House did not respond immediately to a request for comment.
Meaning, we are thinking of ways to blame Trump, republicans, Russia, OPEC, the tooth fairy, Santa Claus and the writer strike in Hollywood. As soon as we have the stupid will believe will let you know.

Hopefully, the Biden Administration had the foresight and common sense to re-stock the national petroleum reserve while gas prices were down.

OP cites the real reason, Brandon can't use injections from the Strategic Oil Reserve to manipulate prices and make the democrats temporarily look good, at least where gas prices are concerned.

Joe still has a little less than 1/2 of the strategic oil reserves to drain to prop himself up.

October 2020. I gassed up here in SWFL for $1.79/gal for Reglar. I have a photocopy of the receipt, since those heat printed originals fade with time.

Under the NoBama regime, gas was approximately $4.00+ nationwide-- we are abour to break that threshold for good--
This is why the Vegetable gave away the National Security Emergency Reserve to make things look better in the 2022 election cycle to minimize loses in the mid-term. Some 20 million gallons was given to the Chi-Coms! How does that happen?
