Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-NY) was booed off stage during a New York City town hall by attendees who were frustrated by the Democrat's position on the looming debt ceiling issue, the border crisis, and the millions of dollars being funneled to Ukraine. Hecklers shouted at the Squad member several times, telling her that she doesn't put America first. "American citizens before migrants," one man shouted as he walked toward AOC holding small American flags. "Where are you on the migrant issue? You're a piece of s—t." A crowd member attempted to defend AOC saying, "Immigrants have nothing to do with vets; it's just an excuse.

Comments:

Yet she will be re-elected the rest of her life.

Op, because those who vote for her are just as stupid as her. By trucking loads of 'free' government money and projects to her district she buys votes on our dime and puts it on the cuff.

AOC will be a barnacle on the Ship of State for another 40 years, ungratefully living off of taxpayer money and further undermining our beloved USA. Will she ultimately be Speaker (rivaling Evita Pelosi), or be "elevated" to a Senate seat where she can be the new DiFi (without the brains)? Ugh.

She may not spend the rest of her life in Congress. I have every confidence that New York can find a plethora of even dumber candidates for the hands out stupid New Yorkers to vote for. The remaining "smart" New Yorkers are leaving as fast as U-Haul's are made available to move to the Terrorist Free State of Florida.

The pendulum swings. It's been swinging left for a long time, and it's pretty much as left as it can go. It will now start racing to the right with equal force, knocking over the AOC's of the world.

A brainless fool, or AOC [but I repeat myself] with a "D" after his/her/xe/xer name in that district will get re-elected to infinity, and beyond. As I've said before, if I were an alumni or trustee at Boston University, I would pony up to refund her tuition and rescind her degree in Economics. She did not learn anything useful.

AOC has learned to play the political game very well...she rides in comfort and spends taxpayer's money on hair and clothes...and will probably be in the senate...that is until the well runs dry and voters cannot be bought off anymore...it's like Chicago...every voter is paid $100 for their democratic vote...thanks to rev.jackson and the rainbow coalition.....

After watching the video, my first impression was the audience was booing the heckler. But I don’t believe she’s feeling the love as much as she did early in her career. She’s narcissistic know-it-all, in love with her self and it’s all about her. Can’t stomach looking or listening to her. When’s the last time she did a photo op at the border on her white pants suit, sobbing at the “kids in cages”? Dolt.

How Blacks’ Experience in Idaho Differs

A remarkable study highlights a barely known exception to the generally accepted truism that black Americans’ poverty and unemployment rates are considerably higher than those of whites. (Snip) The black experience in Idaho clearly differs from the national narrative. Compare the astounding 30% earnings differential for blacks compared with elsewhere in the United States, where blacks overall earn only three-quarters of whites’ income. Long-term trends, their study says, include “fewer barriers to land ownership, smaller populations, well-knit communities, men’s involvement in the family, and a relatively less hostile [social and regulatory] environment than prevailed in other states.”

On the Memorial Day weekend, while most Americans played near water, the leftists impeached the strongest elected voice in Texas for election integrity — Ken Paxton. Impeachments were history book items until Clinton. (Snip) This one is a bit different. Paxton is the stand-up guy who — but for a very sketchy Supreme Court "standing" ruling — could have seriously upended the fraudulent election in 2020. He is ballsy, innovative, smart, and colorful. And he is the attorney general of a very big state — or was, as he now is suspended. It's now up to the state Senate.

Two new studies published this week on the same day. The Biochimie study described three separate, complex systems by which the covid proteins could promote cancer growth. The Cureus study described massive excess deaths in Germany in 2021-22, and suggested an astounding possible reason for them. Both studies are peer-reviewed. Both studies are lengthy and highly-footnoted. Both studies were very carefully written. Both are remarkable. But one of the studies is a limited hangout, a psyop that gives us a little bit of new, truthful information, information intended to distract us from the horrifying implications of the other study.

White supremacy, domestic terrorism, and violent extremism are all on the rise, according to the FBI, the news media, and top government officials. They point to the January 6 Capitol riot, the Patriot Front white supremacists who recently marched in Washington D.C., and yesterday’s crash into a security barrier near the White House of a U-Haul truck carrying a Nazi flag. But there is no evidence that white supremacy, domestic terrorism, and violent extremism are actually on the rise. By filing multiple January 6 cases rather than a single one, FBI inflated the statistics, as we documented yesterday. Little is known about the almost entirely masked participants of the Patriot  CORRECION*

The major science journals are growing increasingly hard left politically. The prestigious journal Science, in particular, has swallowed progressive ideology–including supporting the “nature rights” movement. The rights of nature–which include geological features–are generally defined as the right to “exist, persist, maintain and regenerate its vital cycles, structure, functions and its processes in evolution.” Nature is, of course, not sentient. So, this campaign is really about granting environmental extremists legal standing to enforce their policy desires through litigation as legal guardians serving nature’s best interests. But the movement has a problem. It is clearly ideological rather than rational. So now, three law professors and a biologist

If, in 1984, an inventive New Yorker set his time travel machine to the year 2023, the city in which he arrived would confound him. Although the New York City of today looks much like that of 1984, our time traveler would have a hard time understanding the people, almost as hard a time as H.G. Wells's "Time Traveler" did when his machine arrived in the year 802,701. The public response of the average New Yorker to the arrest of former Marine sergeant Daniel Penny calls to mind the "Eloi" response to Wells's Traveler. The Eloi were the little, pretty people of the future whom the Time Traveler encountered.

One of the most maddening things about modern culture is the whole issue of pronouns. At the very least, it’s annoying that some people trumpet their pronouns, choosing to base their identity on how people address them when talking about them behind their backs. But it’s even worse the way some people freak out over people using the wrong pronouns as if other people have nothing better to do than keep up with what everybody’s pronouns are at any given moment. Prounoun obsession is the ultimate form of narcissism; it’s entirely self-focused to think that everyone should bend to the whim of what you want to call yourself.

The idea that polluters should pay reparations for climate change is gaining steam among advocates. Some environmentalists and academics argue the companies or states that are most significantly contributing to the climate crisis should be made to compensate the people bearing the brunt of its impacts. Advocates have been calling for such reparations for years, especially since evidence emerged that fossil fuel companies were aware of the impact of carbon emissions. But the idea is now more practically achievable due to scientific advances, said Adrien Salazar, policy director at the nonprofit Grassroots Global Justice. He pointed to the increased sophistication
