This is classic. The climate hysterics expect big oil to pay in advance for climate tragedies that their hyperbolic models say are yet to come, even though there is no definitive link between carbon emissions and weather events that have occurred throughout human history.

I remember reading about the effects of higher levels of CO2 in the late 70's or early 80's. Research proved that higher levels of CO2, about 3 to 4 times today's level, dramatically increased plant growth and food production. The idiots and greedy thieves demanding climate reparations have already received tremendous benefits in the form of an abundant food supply and affordable grocery prices. They have to look no further than todays skyrocketing food prices to see the "benefits" of their "modern" so-called science.

Descendants of slaveholders should receive reparations from the gov for taking of private property. Sunlovers she get reparations from the jet plane industry for high altitude contrails that diminish the sunlight. Every traffic incident, every motorcade that causes a jam should unleash reparations for the inconvenience of being blocked. All books and movies that are not perfectly balanced across 157 genres, 179 national origins, etc need to be burned. This will continue until nothing is left

Have someone explain to these people what New York City was like before the automobile. Even with a fraction of today's population, the people were ankle deep in horse puckey and disease and flies were rampant. In the 80s, I stopped at a local sawmill to order some wood. they had an article pasted to the counter with details of the standing timber in the country over the previous 100 years. We had twice as much standing timber as the country had in 1900. Thank gas and coal. Of course, to grow enough corn to meet ethanol standards, a lot of trees had to be chopped down. Further, that land was 'marginal' for agriculture meaning more fertilizers than usual had to be used. The maximum size of the Gulf of Mexico dead zone increased by 38%. Of course, that mean the left stopped reporting that. But, if ethanol did that, I ask you.... shouldn't THEY pay reparations????

They can do their part by giving up public transportation, their cars, electricity, paint and all plastic items. And since food is brought in trucks that use fossil fuels they need to grow their own food using hand tools, And since most medical treatments involve plastics in some measure, including prescription bottles and syringes, they will need to go to a witch doctor to be treated when they become ill from sun stroke while weeding their turnips.

Last Thursday, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson held an event with law enforcement personnel and other “community leaders” to unveil his Memorial Day weekend “safety plan.” Holiday weekends in Chicago are notoriously violent, so Johnson’s attempt to curb it constituted his first “big test” as mayor. The consistent and senseless violence on holiday weekends is also why it was disappointing to hear so little substance during the event. Johnson briefly discussed how the Office of Emergency Management and Communications would “monitor citywide events and weather conditions” and all relevant agencies would coordinate with one another. He said that NATO would also "put an additional battalion of reserve forces on high readiness so they can also be deployed if needed. These are prudent steps.” A battalion typically ranges from 300

At least nine people, including a one-year-old child and two other minors, were injured in a Memorial Day shooting on a packed Florida boardwalk. Authorities say a dispute between two groups ended in gunfire at around 6.45pm Monday in the area of the 1200 block of North Boardwalk in Hollywood Beach, north of Miami. One suspect has been detained, while another is still at large. An online video showed the moment gunfire erupted on the popular hotspot. The crowd frantically scattered for cover and away from danger when gunshots started to ring out near the Margaritaville resort.
