Minneapolis and "Somali culture night"..... what could go wrong? Change the name of the city to New Mogadishu.

Sounds like a hot time in Minnemogadishu. It was bad enough being there, let alone seeing a once nice city devolve into 3rd world.

“Somali culture” is an oxymoron. The Democraps stuck this bunch of 7th-century animals into a 20th-century metropolis and saddled us with mopes like Ilhan Omar. They’ve turned Minneapolis into a garbage pit.

Hmm. From what I've gathered over the last few years, that sounds exactly like Somali culture. Congratulations. This is another thing that likely cannot be fixed.

Thank Bill Clinton for this crap show. For every Democrat foreign policy disaster there's a new immigrant group brought to America as a "refugee group." Failure to make the world in America's image (the fool's errand) is no excuse for dragging in more third-world scum.

I looked for other news reports of this violent outburst. Here is a typical headline: ''Two teens hurt in fight at Minneapolis Washburn HS''. Most reports make No mention of Somalia Culture event and greatly downplay the police presence required to quell the melee.

multiculturalism destroyed the Roman Empire I am an old codger of obvious Czech heritage who attended public schools with Lebanese, Syrians, Germans, Swedes, Irish...but we never had any school cultural events nor celebrations. Those were for fratetnal organizations where everyone was welcomed. WE were and ARE Americans first! America has devolved from a melting pot into a fruit salad. Ted " lyin' in the Senate" Kennedy started the transition.

A perfect example of Somali culture, melees, stabbings and shootings. Send them all back to their 3rd world hellhole. I had a new nurse at my cardiologist appointment recently. She said she moved down to east KS from Minnesota. I asked her how "Minnesota nice" was doing, and she said, "I was born and raised in Minnesota, never bought that claim." I said things have been getting pretty crazy in Minnesota lately, and she agreed and then let it drop. An escapee, happy to be in Normalsville, eastern KS.

Minnesota is a lost cause. It’s ruled by the radical left because the Dem run big cities want it that way. All the places like this are in a death spiral...business fleeing, taxpayers fleeing. They are running out of other people’s money. When that happens, they will demand that prosperous red state bail them out. I have no hope anymore...voter fraud will keep these communists in power.

Is There a Polite Way to Handle the Pronoun Madness? 32 replies
Posted by Hazymac 5/28/2023 4:06:24 PM Post Reply
One of the most maddening things about modern culture is the whole issue of pronouns. At the very least, it’s annoying that some people trumpet their pronouns, choosing to base their identity on how people address them when talking about them behind their backs. But it’s even worse the way some people freak out over people using the wrong pronouns as if other people have nothing better to do than keep up with what everybody’s pronouns are at any given moment. Prounoun obsession is the ultimate form of narcissism; it’s entirely self-focused to think that everyone should bend to the whim of what you want to call yourself.
