An unknown number of American citizens remain trapped in Sudan, and it may already be too late to get them out. The civil war in Sudan between two wanna-be warlords reached the capital of Khartoum almost a week ago, and yet no one apparently had thought to extract US diplomatic personnel and private citizens from the country.
The embassy sent out an alert that it’s already too late for any normal exit:
The airport, located in central Khartoum, is closed but would be inoperable even if it reopened due to damage from bombardment and fighting. The roughly 70 U.S. staff at the embassy have no options to leave Sudan on their own

It’s always too late for the Biden (Obama) crew to do the right thing for Americans, instead their objective is as an example to send big bucks to Africa so the villagers there can buy electric cars!

Not a great place to visit. 110 degrees in the shade, Islamic warlords everywhere, and an airport that is shut down indefinitely.

What further proof could anyone need to understand that this administration is incompetent, reactive instead of proactive and is not interested in protecting US citizens here and abroad? Joe was too busy vacationing in Ireland and then Rehoboth and then a personal day on Momday. World issues are the furthest think from his rapiy decaying mind

Another embassy rooftop exit strategy. Milley will tell us that’s how they planned it all along.

They should be able to payoff the pertinent warlords to get the Americans out, complicated by trying to figure out how a 10 percent kickback to the “big guy” can be worked out!

Simple solution - - - -
Let's trade the Americans trapped in Sudan - - for the Americans trapped in Afghanistan.
BINGO! Everything's hunky-dory!

Here we go again.
The people behind Biden want American weakness.
They want America to fail.
The want America's representative government to fail.
They hate America that much.
They do not believe in Democracy, representation, or freedom.
Very likely they resemble Communists and Dictators.
They are the opposite of what America stands for.

Let the articles of impeachment roll. I'm sure the Republicans are accumulating 20 or so to sit on the shelf before they file all at once. Very efficient those Republican battle ready Street fighters.

But, but, Donald Trump... How will they spin this as Trump's fault this time? Just another example of the US having to abandon an embassy, staff ,citizens, and equipment for the new hostile to the US regime to use against us some day soon. Afghanistan was a practice run for what appears to be many more abandonments by the Biden administration. The US has willingly ceded all power and strength in the world to China and our adversaries.

sound like another Mogadishu in the making, & you know the state dept will tap a SEAL Team to go in and rescue the most politically loyal any of the others will have to get out on their own, what a way to run a country

Beyond the probable incompetent political aspects of this in DC, the big tactical disadvantage of a military rescue could well come about because the international media is now publicizing the fact that Americans are essentially trapped in the embassy, by doing that they are essentially giving the warlords a heads up to establish defensive positions around the embassy that would make any rescue mission much harder with it becoming more likely that any rescue unit will sustain a lot of casualties fighting their way in and then back out.

Have no fear- by this time tomorrow FJB will be once again vacationing in Delaware where he does his real job running the Biden Crime Family and spooning down quantities of chocolate chocolate chip ice cream. Stand by for another US humiliation.

Winston Churchill wrote his memoirs of fighting in Sudan more than a century ago. In them he said, "Islam in a man is like rabies in a dog."....based on person experience.
Yep, I think he nailed it more than a century ago.
