NBCUniversal CEO Jeff Shell is departing the company following an investigation into misconduct, which involved an “inappropriate relationship.”
Comcast and Shell jointly announced the news Sunday in a statement that noted the two “have mutually agreed” on the decision. Shell will depart effective immediately. The decision follows a company-led investigation conducted by outside counsel “into a complaint of inappropriate conduct.” “Today is my last day as CEO of NBCUniversal. American military officials have evacuated U.S. embassy personnel from violence-torn Sudan, Fox News can confirm.
A source told Fox News that the evacuation was complete as of early Sunday morning. Diplomats and their families were successfully removed from Sudan and the capital city of Khartoum.
The Sudanese military has been working with foreign governments to evacuate diplomats as their country descends into a massive conflict. The conflict between the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and Sudan's armed forces began on April 15. The World Health Organization reported that at least 413 people have died, while injury estimates are as high as 3,551.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom has directed the National Guard and California Highway Patrol to help combat San Francisco's fentanyl trafficking crisis.
On Friday, Newsom announced an effort to have both agencies assist local authorities to address the rise in fentanyl use.

If I were still teaching at Harvard Business School, I’d already be putting together material for a case study on the Bud Light marketing disaster, and I am reasonably sure that I would have plenty of company at HBS and elsewhere. The fiasco is already of historic proportions, joining New Coke as an example of failing to understand the customers of a brand.
