Man clobbers disturbed woman in face at
NYC Earth Day event — just steps from

Not even an event thrown by Mayor Eric Adams is immune from the violence plaguing the Big Apple. An apparent emotionally disturbed woman got clobbered to the face Saturday by an unidentified man roughly 10 feet away from Adams during a “Car-Free Earth Day” celebration he hosted in the South Bronx. The woman, who appeared to be in her late 20s to early 30s, started the brouhaha around 1:45 p.m. along Roberto Clemente Plaza on Willis Avenue, according to a video captured by a Post photographer. She began repeatedly kicking bags of recyclables left along the plaza before opening them and dumping debris while bystanders stared in shock.

Why imply the woman was disturbed. Maybe she is just another **shole doing whatever she feels like. I applaud the man who tried to talk her into behaving.

I watched the video. Mentally ill? Not anymore than the young people destroying cars, looting stores, destroying whatever they can just for the sake of destroying something, anything, or anyone. This mentality enjoys destruction, and they know they won’t be punished. It’s a game. Remember the knockout game? This is their idea of a good time.

"Not even an event thrown by Mayor Eric Adams is immune from the violence plaguing the Big Apple. " First line of the article is total crap. This wasn't part of NYC's plague of violence. The man did not clobber her without provocation or try to rob her. She was dumping trash all over the place, he told her to stop, she challenged him, and it escalated. Next thing we know, the Post will be calling crime fighting by police part of the plague of violence.

The Washington Post quietly dropped a ‘bombshell’ about current President Joe Biden’s expected presidential campaign announcement this week. According to reports, Joe Biden is seriously considering an election rematch against former President Donald Trump.“Biden’s top aides have quietly undertaken extensive preparations for a run, holding regular meetings with the president and first lady since last year in the White House residence,” the report said. The Democratic National Committee is once again going to protect Joe Biden on the campaign trail. This time “Basement Joe,” who was accused by his critics of dodging campaign events during the Covid pandemic, will be shielded from having to debate in the Democratic primaries.

A month later Joe Biden appointed McQuaid to oversee the agency that began its investigation of Hunter's tax situation in 2018.

Michelin is recalling more than 542,000 light truck tires in the U.S. because they don't have enough traction to work in all snowy conditions. The recall covers certain Agilis CrossClimate C-Metric tires that Michelin says don't meet U.S. safety standards. The tire maker says in documents posted Thursday by safety regulators that tires, which were first sold in the United States and Canada in 2018, without sufficient traction can increase the risk of a crash.

The Biden administration is reportedly finalizing a proposal that would force fossil fuel-fired power plants to substantially curb emissions or utilize costly carbon capture technology. The proposal — which will soon be released by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) — is expected to require coal- and natural gas-fired power plants to cut or capture the vast majority of their carbon dioxide emissions by 2040, The New York Times reported on Saturday, citing officials briefed on a draft of the plan. The regulation, if finalized, would represent the first-ever federal action curbing power plant emissions. "EPA cannot comment because the proposals are currently under interagency review,"
