It looks like actions might have consequences in the matter of Anheuser-Busch and its partnership with Dylan Mulvaney. (snip) But now, it looks like Heinerscheid might be suffering some consequences, too.
AdAge is reporting that the marketing VP has taken a “leave of absence” and has been replaced by Todd Allen, who has been the global marketing VP for Budweiser. (snip) According to a statement from City Distributors, a Topeka, Kans.-based Anheuser-Busich distributor, the custom can decision “circumvented the proper approval channels.”
Now, is that a permanent “leave of absence”? It’s hard to know, but when they replace you, it sure sounds like you might not be coming back.

These companies need to be more careful about who they hire for marketing and Human Resources departments. A good rule of thumb would be not to hire anyone from an Ivy League university as they are likely to be an out of touch social Justice warrior. And I think I read somewhere that this bimbo was living in a 6 million dollar penthouse overlooking Central Park. There is no reason to pay a marketing executive that kind of money.

I predicted she'd be "asked to resign," or flat out let go this week. It looks like my Corpocracy Radar is still accurate.

No doubt she'll be hired by some other company that can't wait to destroy itself.

A-B is trying to put the toothpaste back in the tube. Or to put it in terms they'd understand, trying to put the manure back in the Clydesdale.

The company should be wholly sacrificed. This nonsense has to stop. If it does not then humanity will be the sacrifice.

In a sane world this stupid b***d should become too toxic to be gainfully employed. But I bet, she ends up as Executive VP of Worldwide Marketing at another even more woke corporation.

The next company that thinks it should cater to the demands of 1% of the population and insult the other 99% might think twice about it. The casualty list of Coke, Nike, Target, Disney now has a new member in A-B.

Is it PAID leave of absence? If so, then she’s just on vacation. Look for them to sneak her back into a job in another departement.

When I worked for a large corporation all commercials were viewed and approved by upper management including the president of the company before it was released (and before the company paid the advertising company millions of dollars for their services). Seems strange that a company would entrust their revenue and reputation to an underling like frat girl without their okay and input. Does top management do anything anymore besides collecting large paychecks and sitting on boards of other companies to put even more money in their pockets?

I don't know, but I think if one made a decision that ends up causing your employer to lose billions of dollars, losing your job should be the least that should happen to you.

Too little by miles, and WAY too late.
There is some big football deal going on in KC soon, my wife mentioned it. I pay as little attention to stick and ball sports as is possible, so not sure what, maybe she said 'draft' In any case, he point was that A-B is going to have lots of "Bud Lite tents" around the downtown, I THINK free beer, or maybe just selling it.
I sincerely hope that they get no takers for their transvestite beer.

Agree with #20; when the smoke has cleared a bit, I'm sure she'll return to work.I don't want to read another report on this individual until she really is WELL & TRULY FIRED!! Doesn't AB realize that she is the epicenter of all their current difficulties? The very first thing they should have done is to get rid of this wench. Then they should have cut MR. Mulvaney loose.
Then give a heartfelt, sincere apology to their customers. Free advice from someone who never studied marketing but does have common sense.

Too little, too late. A-B has to suffer some serious and lasting consequences, enough to deter other companies from going down this road. I don't buy that much beer, but I am done with A-B.
