Jimmy Carter has “decided to spend his remaining time at home” in hospice care after a series of short hospital stays, the 98-year-old former president’s family said in a statement on Saturday.
The statement, issued by the Carter Center, said the ex-president’s choice had “the full of support of his family and his medical team”. It also said the family “asks for privacy during this time and is grateful for the concern shown by his admirers”.
Carter, a Democrat, was president of the US from 1977 to 1981. The late Ronald Reagan, a Republican, succeeded Carter after defeating him at the end of his lone term in the Oval Office.

I detest that man. However, I am struggling to pray that he would profess Jesus as His Lord and Savior before he passes. His works provide ample evidence that he has never accepted Christ.

At least he will die knowing that he was not the worst President in history!
Horrible President but by most accounts he was a good man. I hope his transition to the other side is painless and peaceful.

A flawed man in many ways but he at least did something constructive after his presidency with Habitat for Humanity. I hope he goes easily.

It was just a matter of time before Jimmah would reach the finish line. I thought he was a terrible president. But here's to hoping that he leaves this life peacefully and under no pain. Rosalyn can't be far behind.

Carter was the first person I voted for for president. I was dumb then. He was a bad president but he did do sterling work with Habitat for Humanity. I wish him comfort and peace. I'll remember him in my prayers tonight.

Although he famously taught Sunday School in his Baptist church in Plains, Georgia, President Carter was conspicuously an opponent if not an enemy of Israel, and spoke and wrote the same for decades. That's not blessed behavior. I also pray for his soul.
In his support, his Habitat for Humanity association was one of the most honorable things an ex-president ever did. May his passing not be painful. He was always off track, sometimes embarrassingly so, but he didn't hate his country. Just misdirected. I never voted for him.

His autobiography is called "Why Not the Best?", a concept now rejected by the Woke. Don't expect Dems or the press to mention it.

Looking back on this racist, evil communist death democrat's life in government service can anyone please name one positive thing he accomplished that benefitted our Country and Citizens? Somehow he has eked out 98 years of life with nothing to show for except strict adherence to the communist death democrat party goal of destruction of our country.. Carter was a disaster as president ranking right after Obama, Biden, and Clinton. Let us also not forget Carter was a protégé of that good ole' Georgia segregationist governor Lester Maddox. Spare us the phony eulogies now that he is on the way out.
Satan is having Carter's red hot seat polished in the section of Hell reserved for all those communist death democrats. Wonder what the seating arrangement is between all those democrats like Kennedy, Byrd, Biden, Pelosi, Feinstein, etc. Sorry forgot that Biden, Pelosi, and Feinstein have not yet gone to their future just rewards.

Wow # 10 - coming on a little strong there. I didn't like Carter as president either. He was a terrible one. But he was way less harmful than many who followed him. I wish I could think of something good he did as president, the only thing that comes to mind is his fight with a giant rabbit while fishing, I think. He has family that loves him and it's for them I wish him an easy passing and may he rest in peace.

Carter may have been a bad president, but he was a decent ex-president, until Bush Jr.
He at least wasn't a hypocrite and was a far better man than most in his party.

He is an honorable man who had the Tip O’Neillsof his party give him the Rodney Dangergrield “No Respect” treatment.
He most certainly was not hellbent on promoting anti-American, socialist, woke views and perverting the Executive branch.
Someday, we all will face this point in time in our own lives.

We don't need to hear about the third worst president in our country when we are struggling to survive under the miserable failures of the first. Let Jimmy Carter drool his life away and think about the damage he caused us through his stupidity to help prepare the way for Barack and Joe.

Carter was a vicious anti-Semite and a two-faced phony who portrayed one picture of himself to the public and a completely different one in private. The suitcases he was photographed carrying were all empty. He wanted the people to believe he was a teetotaling holy Joe, except he and family drank like fish. He treated his Secret Service agents like they were his personal servants.A horrible person.

Carter was not an anti Semite. He attempted to broker peace between Sadat and Arafat. He was more idealistic in his politics. The realist Ronaldus Magnus .came after him

not that I wish him any ill will, ah forget it!! I didn't like him when he was Pretender in Chief and I don't like him now and as far as I'm concerned ... he was never a "real" person so, logically speaking, if there never was, there is not now, so ...
good night, jimmy and don't slam the door when you leave to meet your maker

Carter did everything that he could to backstab and undermine Israel, both during his presidency and throughout the remainder of his public life.
If God meant what he said to Abram in Genesis 12: 2-3, and I suspect he did, old Jimmy may be in for an unpleasant surprise very soon.
