Jimmy Carter, 98, opts for hospice care
after string of hospital visits

Jimmy Carter has “decided to spend his remaining time at home” in hospice care after a series of short hospital stays, the 98-year-old former president’s family said in a statement on Saturday. The statement, issued by the Carter Center, said the ex-president’s choice had “the full of support of his family and his medical team”. It also said the family “asks for privacy during this time and is grateful for the concern shown by his admirers”. Carter, a Democrat, was president of the US from 1977 to 1981. The late Ronald Reagan, a Republican, succeeded Carter after defeating him at the end of his lone term in the Oval Office.

I detest that man. However, I am struggling to pray that he would profess Jesus as His Lord and Savior before he passes. His works provide ample evidence that he has never accepted Christ.

Although he famously taught Sunday School in his Baptist church in Plains, Georgia, President Carter was conspicuously an opponent if not an enemy of Israel, and spoke and wrote the same for decades. That's not blessed behavior. I also pray for his soul. In his support, his Habitat for Humanity association was one of the most honorable things an ex-president ever did. May his passing not be painful. He was always off track, sometimes embarrassingly so, but he didn't hate his country. Just misdirected. I never voted for him.

Looking back on this racist, evil communist death democrat's life in government service can anyone please name one positive thing he accomplished that benefitted our Country and Citizens? Somehow he has eked out 98 years of life with nothing to show for except strict adherence to the communist death democrat party goal of destruction of our country.. Carter was a disaster as president ranking right after Obama, Biden, and Clinton. Let us also not forget Carter was a protégé of that good ole' Georgia segregationist governor Lester Maddox. Spare us the phony eulogies now that he is on the way out. Satan is having Carter's red hot seat polished in the section of Hell reserved for all those communist death democrats. Wonder what the seating arrangement is between all those democrats like Kennedy, Byrd, Biden, Pelosi, Feinstein, etc. Sorry forgot that Biden, Pelosi, and Feinstein have not yet gone to their future just rewards.

Wow # 10 - coming on a little strong there. I didn't like Carter as president either. He was a terrible one. But he was way less harmful than many who followed him. I wish I could think of something good he did as president, the only thing that comes to mind is his fight with a giant rabbit while fishing, I think. He has family that loves him and it's for them I wish him an easy passing and may he rest in peace.

Carter was a vicious anti-Semite and a two-faced phony who portrayed one picture of himself to the public and a completely different one in private. The suitcases he was photographed carrying were all empty. He wanted the people to believe he was a teetotaling holy Joe, except he and family drank like fish. The San Francisco Board of Supervisors could soon repeal all or parts of a law that prohibited city-funded travel and contracting with 30 conservative states that passed laws to restrict LGBTQ rights, abortion access and voting rights. The 2016 ordinance, Chapter 12X, was initially passed in the wake of the Obergefell v. Hodges decision to include states that passed anti-LGBTQ legislation, but was amended twice in 2019 and 2021 to add additional states who passed restrictive abortion and voting rights legislation. The move was largely seen as a boycott to pressure other states and prevent the city from engaging in business with those whose values

There are now new reports of a large white balloon spotted about 594 miles northeast of Honolulu, Hawaii. The Oakland Oceanic Air Traffic Control was reporting sightings of the balloon, with multiple commercial pilots saying they’d seen it. Reports were that it was flying at an altitude of 40,000 to 50,000 feet. Pilots were advised to report if they saw the object. It’s not clear whether it already breached American airspace. There are all kinds of military installations in Hawaii, so obviously that would be a big target for spying by China if that is what is going on here. This would be spitting in the eye of Joe Biden

Austin police are investigating what they called “street racing incidents.” The incidents involved crowds taking over major intersections as drivers participated in “drifting” demonstrations. When police arrived, the crowd attacked the vehicles with fireworks, rocks, and other objects. Multiple videos show the chaos that erupted in a major intersection in downtown Austin on Saturday night. Some of the videos show the crowds turning on police as they arrived to clear the streets. Police say people in the crowd threw rocks and fireworks at patrol vehicles damaging at least two. In one video, fireworks appear to be fired at one of the police cars.

Kathy Hochul’s dangerous and Orwellian “Hateful Conduct Law” suffered a major defeat, being struck down in the Southern District of New York by Judge Andrew L. Carter. That came after Rumble and a blogger teamed up to challenge the law in court. The law, which Hochul originally signed in the summer of 2022, would have forced social media companies to “report” hateful conduct to the state (in this case, New York) and also have policies in place to censor such speech. According to Judge Carter (Breitbart), that was a no-go given the protections afforded by the First Amendment. “The Hateful Conduct Law both compels social media networks to speak about the contours

The average person can’t describe the daily responsibilities of the secretary of transportation or even name the figure who holds that position — until our transportation infrastructure fails, that is. As far as cushy political appointments go, it’s on the thankless end of the spectrum. At least that was the case before Pete Buttigieg ascended to the role in 2021. Now the secretary of transportation is both a political celebrity and someone immune to meaningful criticism over our country’s transportation failures — and there have been many.Though the left rarely misses an opportunity to announce that “the adults are back in charge,” Buttigieg’s failures suggest otherwise.
